JVM ERROR 545 = DEAD PHONE??

Hello,
I have a white error screen stating JVM ERROR 545. I have tried backing up my date and this has not worked. Out of desperation, and not wanting to delete my documents, i tried to re-install the firewarm on the phone. This also did not work.
Does anybody out there have a solution to this problem?
Thanks

Can you try to connect your device to your computer with the battery out of the device. I know this might sound crazy, but pop out the battery then connect using USB and then try to follow the steps in the article I provided before.
Once you get your device connected and are going through the application load process follow through until you get to the point when it says "Waiting for device initialization". When you see this put the battery back in your device, and this should allow the loading process to continue.
Hope this helps.

    Hi all,
When i run my application I get an error as JVM error 545 incompatible or corrupt file types.....
Can anyone please tell me how to solve this.......

unfortunatley, from my experience, the only salvation from a jvm error is to reload the phones operating system.  I would recomend backing up the phone, and then reloading software which can usually be attained in the phones box or from your carriers website.  I would also recommend doing this with your phone carriers technical support team on the line with you if at all possible.

Is there anyway to get a picture from the 8220 flip when it gives this error?  It's important I had to borrow a cable from a friend to see if computer would recognize it, but I can't do anything without "forcing the detection" to apply the upgraded application to the phone.

  • Urgent: JVM Error 528

Please help. My 9810's battery was completely dead last night. After charging it for couple hours I checked and there was a white screen of "JVM Error 528". I tried to click Continue and it brought me to the hourglass. I quickly took off the battery to manually reboot it, but the same error notification came up each time. Then I tried to connect my Blackberry to the Desktop Software (the last time I backed up was like 6 months ago unfortunately) and my device was not recognized. I followed through the instruction of updating Blackberry Device Software.
Now I am in the process of doing so, however the application loader cannot connect to the device. It says: "There might not be any Blackberry Software Device installed on this device. If your device is working, disconnect then reconnect your device and click Retry. Otherwise, your device data will not be backed up. If your device is not working, click Ignore to continue loading software." I don't know how to go from here, I am not very technologically savvy. Please help me save my phone and, most importantly, my data and contacts.

    Hi irenatee,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
Just to clarify, have you already tried clicking Ignore or disconnecting and reconnecting and clicking Retry? If neither of those options helped load the BlackBerry® Device Software, you may want to try starting a the software reload without the battery inserted then reinsert the battery after the software reload has started. This article will provide further steps. http://bbry.lv/onZ4Wf
If the BlackBerry® Desktop Software is unable to connect with your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810 smartphone, you will not be able to take a current backup, however when the software reload has finished, you should be able to restore the older backup file you have.
    Hope this helps.

  • BB- pearl 8100 - JVM error 547

    Hi,
I have Blackberry 8100 pearl model, it is giving me following error message ( even after hard restart, this msg appears  as soon as i insert the battery):
    JVM ERROR 547
    flash write failed: p=827a0000,s=4.
I downloaded the version 4.2.2 desktop manager from the below link:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
After installing the new DTM ver 4.2.2, I performed the points mentioned in this link
     http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB10144&sliceId=SAL_Pub...
But when i try this , it fails in step 4, that is, I am not able to see any applications listed. It is displaying this message:
" The BlackBerry desktop software does not have BlackBerry Device software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator."
I have not taken any back up of my phone, so i dont want to loose my data esp the contact list and messages. Earlier I had version 4.2.0.10 deskop manager now even after upgrading it to 4.2.2 it didnt help .
I also tried selecting secure mode and reset but it didnt help.
Please help me to recover. I shall be extremely thankfull.
PS:  I am new to this forum, not sure If I am posting at right place, please redirect me to the correct thread if I am wrong.

    Hello jamin
The first thing here is that your data is most likely already lost
Second, have you downloaded your device software?  The device software is different from the
    Desktop Manager software.
If you have not downloaded your device software you will need to do this and
install it on the computer.  I suspect
this is the reason you are getting  " The BlackBerry desktop software
does not have BlackBerry Device software for the device that you have connected
to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system
    administrator."
To get the device software you will need to go back to the carrier site and
    download it.
If you tell me who your carrier is I can get you the download link.
Once you have the device software you are going to want to follow the below
    KB article
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB11320&slic...
Hope to hear from you soon!
