JVM Install on PocketPc 2003

Hi,
Can someone tell me what's the normal installation process for the java jvm (CrEme 3.26) given that I have a .cab file? I've tried to install it following the "installing from the internet" procedure but I always get an error message (in german) wich I believe translates to "There's no appropiate installation files for your device either for the jvm or the MI". I've tried changing manually to other device types but I always get the same error.
Thanks

Hi
You can use Active sync and copy the installer to PocketPC file system from PC and then click the cab file,it will install creme if the PocketPcs processor and other requirements are met.
Try looking into sites for further info:-

  • How to remove PocketPC 2003 apps?

I have successfully implemented a test LabVIEW program that communicates wirelessly between a Dell Axim X3i over TCPIP. I am ready to uninstall the LabVIEW test program from the PDA, and install my actual LabVIEW application. I have not found a way to delete/remove the program from the Dell. If any PocketPC experts know how to do this, please let us all know. In the mean time, I will go check the PocketPC 2003 forums for an answer.
    TIA

You have to delete the program by opening ActiveSync and going to explorer. We use PocketPC 2002 and LabView places the programs in the My Pocket PC->Windows->Start Menu->Programs directory. Once you find it, just right-click and select delete.

  • Downloaded Flash 7 for PocketPC 2003, Problems!!

Hi, Ive just downloaded Flash 7 for PocketPC 2003, The
programme I need it to support only appears in the upper left
quarter of the screen, Ive tried going to the setting to see if
this can be adjusted but nothing works.
The whole idea of the programme is for it to be a quick
reference in the field (its an EMS Pocket Guide) so having to zoom
in and fiddle to follow an algorithm isnt really all that
    practical.
Is this a problem with the programme or with Flash? If Flash
    - how can I fix it?
    Thanks,

I don't have a similar machine to look at so this is a bit of a guess:
Per page 30 or your user's guide http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_g400sg400stouchg500sg500stouchg405sg505s_ug_e...:
How can I start the BIOS setup utility?
To start the BIOS setup utility:
    1 Shut down the computer.
2 Press the Novo button and then select BIOS Setup
There should be a tab labelled something like "Configuration" and on that page something like "SATA controller mode".  Select "compatible" and save and exit.
I'm not certain this will fix your problem, but it's worth a try.

  • How to install windows server 2003 on Sunfire x4150?

hi, i'm very new to Sun server.Sorry if i dont know anything about it. But now i have to install Windows Server 2003 on this Sunfire x4150 server. How can i do that? I've try to install but it give me error about the driver.
    Some question:
    1. Can i install both Sun Os (Solaris?) and Windows Server together? If cant, can i format the Solaris OS and install a fresh Windows?
    2. OR actually i should install inside a Virtual Machine?
Here are some links that i found. Am i following the right direction? The article suggest me to download FloppyPack from Sun's website. So, should i just downlaod the FloppyPack (360+KB) ? I dont need to download other driver package?
    http://www.seedsofgenius.com/pdf/wp1.pdf
    http://dlc.sun.com/pdf/820-5837-10/820-5837-10.pdf
Sorry, i have totally no idea at all.
Thank you very much if you can help me . OTL

Might be a bit late for you, but if this helps anyone else, good.
I had the same issue with an X4600 lately. You need to download the Sun Installation Assistant cd and boot from it to install anything other than Solaris. This cd is similar to the ones that Compaq andDell sendout with their servers. It will do a semi automatic install after you give it the information about the os, set up disks, etc.
Easy to do, search the sun support site for the SIA image particular to your hardware.

A 2003 MS office sounds like a Windows version.  A 2004 MS Office that was Mac compatible can not be run natively on a new MBA since the Lions do not run PPC applications.  You will have to get a newer edition of MS Office that is compatible with your new MBA.

  • After 9i (9.2.0.1)Install on Windows 2003 cannot login as sys/sysdba/system

    Hello all,
    I need to someone's help.
I just installed Oracle After 9i (9.2.0.1)Install on Windows 2003.
I can only login using scott/tiger.
    cannot login as sys/sysdba/system
I used Oracle dtabase Configuration Assistant. At the last step it asked me if I want to change sys and system passwords, I did. However, I cannot verify if system took those. The default combinations system/manager sys/change_on_install are not working.
As well as my new passwords.
    How can I resolve it?
    Thank you in advance,
    Sonya

Recall what you used and you should be able to login .
    OR
On windows create new password for sys user. This should work for you since you are on windows OS
back up the file in you ORACLE_HOME/database/PWD<SID>.ora
    Create a new one using
    orapwd file=...database/PWD<sid>.ora password=<new password> entries=5
    stop the oracleService<SID>
    start the oracleService<SID>
    sqlplus /nolog
    connect sys as sysdba
    Enter password: <new password>
You should be able to login with this new password created

  • Can oracle discoverer 10 be installed on Windows 2003 server

    Hi,
I have couple of queries related to Oracle Discoverer. Need help urgently.
    1. Can Oracle Discoverer 4.1 version support Windows 2003 on which Citrix server version 4 or above is installed? If yes, please let me know the patch details to download the same.
    2. Can Oracle 10g BI Tool, Oracle Discoverer Administrator and Desktop be installed on Windows 2003 Server Operating System on which Citrix server version 4 or above be installed?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rajesh Gurram

    Hi,
    1. Discoverer 4.1 has been desupported but was only certified for Windows 200 and XP
    2. Discoverer Desktop and Admin is support on Windows 2003:
    2003 SP1+ 10g (10.1.2.0.2 )
One thing I have to mentioned is that Oracle does not support any Citrix client operations.
If ever you encounter a problem you will need to reproduce the problem
outside of the Citrix environment to prove that it is not the cause of the problem.

  • Trouble installing Microsoft Office 2003 on my mac

    Hello all,
I was just attempting to install Microsoft Office 2003 (Student and Teacher Edition) on my Mac and I haven't had much success thus far.
Basically I've put the install disc into my Mac, the disc icon pops up on my desktop, but I can't seem to get it to install. Should it be doing this automatically, or is there something else I need to do? I've tried dragging the disk icon to my applications folder, but not luck.
I feel like this is a relatively elementary issue, but I haven't been able to find any other help regarding this specific problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your time,
    Garrett

Office 2003 is for Windows only. 2004 and 2008 run on Mac OS.
If you are in fact using 2004 or 2008, then please post your question on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac products at http://www.officeformac.com/productforums

  • Installing an application in pocketPC 2003

    Hi,
I developped an application for PocketPC using web sphere studio (ibm's J9 VM), i created the jar file and i tranfered it to the pocket PC, but i don't know how to launch it.
    can any person help me.

u need to create a .lnk file where u place your command line to call your application. The options of the J9 VM are well documented on IBM documentation.
If you search on this forum you will see examples for command lines. Anyway i send you an example with CrEme VM:
    118#"\Windows\CrEme\bin\CrEme.exe" -Of -classpath '\Atinav\aveLinkBT\Examples;\Atinav\aveLinkBT\SDK;aveLinkBT.jar' Client
Please keep in mind that these arguments are different than your VM. And the number "118" is the number of bytes following the # character.
    Hope it helps

  • JVM on Pocket PC 2003

    Hi!
Can you tell me what kind of JVM can I install to Pocket PC 2003?
Actually I'm working with an emulator.
    Please, help me!
    thanks
    marina

I've tried both Creme and Jeode, and jeode seems to be the better one (to me). The GUI generated looks almost identical to the one running on desktop PC (jre1.4).
Too bad Insigna solution has sold Jeode to some company called Esmertec!!
Insigna seemed pretty serious to me, something I can't really say about Esmertec.
I've tried to contact Esmertec to get a newer version of Jeode, which they now call Jbed(!?), but the answer I get is: "we can only license our technology to device manufacturers"!!! So I practically have to pull out my solder to get a licence!!
What is even more confusing is that you can still buy jeode from handango! And sometimes Esmertec themself refer to Jeode as Jeode (I thought they renamed it to Jbed CLDC/CDC!!)
So what I'm doing now is that I'm using "old" Jeode on my Dell Axim X3 (and HP Ipaq 5xxx), and it works pretty good. But it's frustrating to know that the jvm I'm using is no longer maintained!!
The jvm for handheld business doesn't seem very serious to me. It doesn't seem to catch up with the developement (both device manufacturers and jvm solutions). Maybe they are concentrating on the booming mobile phone market!?
Many jvm's are still using Java Personal (Sun EOL).
Another "unserious" thing is that on most companion cd's for PPC, Jeode is mentioned, one way or another. But they either refer to a broken link on Insignias website, or the jvm isn't on the cd although it claims that it should be there!!!

  • Oracle IDM Install on Windows 2003

    Hey all...
I am trying to install OIM 9.1.0.1 on a windows server 2003 and having some trouble. I have the Oracle database installed and configured and prepped for the OIM install as per the documentation. I am using the JBoss App server and have that up and running as well.
I have Java JDK 1.6.0.16 installed. During the install, it says the JDK version is unsupported. After viewing the readme, I see that JDK 1.6.0.10 is supported. Not sure if this is what's causing me an issue.
I get all the install screens until I get to the screen where I provide the application server and Java JDK directories. I enter the directories and hit next and then the installer just sits there. No error messages, no response whatsoever.
I was hoping someone could help me figure out what I am doing wrong. Does the installer just fully reject the latest JDK and fail?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Bryan

Check the compability matrix for your OIM version for JVMs. If Java 1.6 isn't supported that might be your issue.
A lot of things in OIM is built on ancient java constructs so it is not impossible that something finally got deprecated.
    Best regards

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610 will not install on Windows 2003 Server 32 bit.

When installing the 8610 with the disk, at the end it states and error occurred during the installation of the device.  The specified module could not be found.
When I install using the downloaded drivers,  after the files extract and the program connects to the printer, when I hit Continue a screen pops up and states  the operating system of this computer is not supported...   even though the 2003 Windows server is on the list.   Is there anything I can do to install the drivers?  All I need is basic printing .   I'm about ready to pack it up and return it... which means the other printers will have to be returned because I like them all to be the same.

Follow the steps below to install the software using an MSIEXEC command, the installation should not be done using the installer as any clieant operating system.
