JWEB am I the only user? Where is the support?
Where can I get some support for OAS 4.0.7 JWEB cartridge.
I am trying to build a simple web front end to my oracle
database using JWEB and jdbc.
Apart from the server crashing many times during the day with a
Dr. Watson error I need further examples and docs to work from.
Anyone got any ideas?

My iBookG4 is running v10.4.11 (knock on wood) with Safari 4.1.3 and it's not an incompatibility issue so much as the 4.1.3 is such an outdated version of Safari.
Most websites especially financial institutions require the newer versions of all browsers to for access.

I have 2 ipad2s on one apple/itunes account. can i share the apps purchased rather than purchase the same apps for each ipad2
. i am only user..... And you can put them on as many iDevices as you own. There is no limit as long as you use the same Apple ID and iTunes account for all of the devices.

I had to do a complete system restore on my computer and now I am having issues getting all my music back. It's telling me that my account is in use with a different user but I'm the only user on my computer. When I go to sync it, it wants to delete all my music and ringtones. What should I do? I don't want to loose all my items.
When in recovery mode you can't backup the iPod.
You will have to restore via iTunes. See:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

i Am the administrator and only user. It somehow lost the Admin ID and password... Hint does not work.
would ould like to to reset everything or just reboot and start the registration and setup from the beginning. No saved items so nothing would be lost in a total reboot

I am the the only user and the administrator for my laptop and I have forgotten my password so I can't make any changes or download any programs....
Reset Password using Recovery HD
Boot into Recovery Partition.
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until you see OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter key on the keyboard.
Do not close the Terminal window
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart. -
Can´t install FF4 beta, it says I don´t have enough priviledges alltough I´m the only user
running Windows7 any time I want to install FF4 beta right at the beginning a window opens up saying that I don't have enough privileges, and should choose a different user like admin, but even as "admin" the installation breaks up without further notice. I´m trying to install beta 8, but it happened with previous versions as well. By the way, I´m the only user and admin the same time.
Does it work if you right-click the Firefox installer and choose "Run as Administrator" ?

Win7 64bit: When I try to install Firefox it says you MAY not have the necessary permissions and asks for log in details, but I am the only user and hence the admin, but I dont use a password.

I have made a bit of, as far as I can tell at this point, a large mistake. After installing Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, I encountered an issue where I couldn't load the Users preference pane. I attempted to resolve this with the instructions found here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4270303?start=0&tstart=0. Instead of deleting the JPEGPhoto, I used the wrong "-" button and deleted the whole user, that is the user from the lefthand pane. That user was also my administrator user, as well as only user on this computer. Now I can't go into anything really that requires Authentication, as that account and password no longer exist, and I can't reach Users and Group preferences because of the initial issue. I should also mention that I am abroad in countries without Apple Stores, so bringing my MacBook in is not an option, nor is re-installing Mac OS X as I do not have the disk and ML is downloaded from the App Store, which I now can't log into and see my purchases... How can I create an account that acts as an administrator? I'm afraid to log off or restart in the event that I can't log in into anything. Also, the user's home directory is still there, so I still have my stuff, but if I restart or anything will it be gone?
If you followed the instructions, you have a backup and you know how to restore from it. Do that.

Can anyone tell me how to set up an e-mail only user, except as an alias?
I'd like to set up a mailbox that anyone in the family can access for those occasions where we want to use a common e-mail address. But I don't want to make any other services available (such as login).
If I create a user and don't allow login, I can't check e-mail, but if I allow login, the user appears in the list of network users on the login screen!

I've tried turning on all debug-level error logging for SMTP, but I don't even see any SMTP errors when I attempt to send public email to @monkeysaddle.com, and neither do I receive a message failure except in the one or two instances respresented above (and I've sent a LOT of emails at this point).

Feeling really stupid with my new MAC - I can't find the "Store" menu in iTunes as referenced in the support article on how to authorize a computer. Where is that menu option? I've looked all over the page, in my account, etc.
Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -
Is it possible to create read-only users in OM
We have several tasks where creating Read-Only access for non-OM users who require information from specific data fields in OM on a regular basis would be helpful. Currently those users must interrupt the daily work of those Oracle users with OM access in order to get their queries answered; obviously this can be quite disruptive.
Have been told by our IT dept/OM users that creating read-only users is not possible and have not found any general information about the topic via Internet search, so I am posting this general query.
Are there license issues that would prevent this?
Security issues?
Customized OM?
Or is it just too complex to do without creating headaches for a firm's IT department?

LisaYou will have to create new functions with parameter query-only = Yes.
And then create a new menu with those new functions.
And then attach the new menu to the Read only responsibility.

How to configure read only user on IAP?
Requirement:
In environments, such as enterprises and campus universities, there are instances where few administrators only monitor the IAP clustered networks. For such users, a read only user can be configured on IAP.
Solution:
In IAP software, a provision is given is to configure a read only user in the system settings, under "Admin" tab.
Configuration:
Follow the below steps to configure radius authentication in IAP:
Login to IAP web interface
Select "System" from the main menu and then click on "Admin" tab
Under View Only settings, enter the username and password.
Verification
Logout of the IAP web interface and try logging in using the username and password created for read only user.
This read only user will no longer be able to see configuration options. Below screenshot shows the difference of menu options between an administrator and read-only user:HG,

Bug 14082464 - CANNOT DISABLE TEST/TEST WEB SERVICE BUTTON IN SOA EM COSOLE is there in Metalink.
So my question is there any way by which i can disable the TEST button in EM Conasole.
I think there are some WLST script or servlet java class available to resolve this issue.
Can any one confirm this and please suggest if any one aware of any alternative method.
