K1 custom ROMs Broken Apps (Sygic)

I have flashed my K1 twice; first with the "official" ICS released by Mark Lenovo later with the JB AOSP provided by khanning. I still haven't reinstalled everything I had under the original Honeycomb so I don't know if anything else is broken but one app which definitely is is the GPS program Sygic. I received a reply from their tech support stating that they don't support custom ROMS so having paid for the full version of the app I'm a little disappointed as I was quite impressed by Sygic under HC.
Question I am now facing is whether to try to search for a "fix" for this problem. I would prefer a solution that would let me continue to enjoy JellyBean however, I might consider rolling back to ICS the official download from Lenovo if I were confident that Sygic would work with that ROM.
Has anyone had any positive experience with this app under ICS or JB?

Self installing Apps.... At Lenovo S90u custom ROM

I can tell that Lenovo mobile topics are not a "hot topic" yet inn this forum... But I hope that will change...
I was thinking if anyone could help me on my latest issue...
I installed the custom rom which I got from "NEEDROM" and the version I installed on my Lenovo sisly S90 is the following
ROM: ROM 2 – VIBEUI_V2.0_1504_5.14.1_ST_S90-u
Since than every freaking morning when I wake up and I change my settings from Airplane mode back to normal I get the following installation hint... The apps, trying to install are called:
- Hot Girls
- Caller ID
- 2048
- Flashlight
My anti-virus is not flagging anything either.... And I just have no idea where this stuff originates from.
If anybody could help me on that issue would be fantastic.

Had loaded s130 scatter and unable to get to Rooting Menu (blue font), it just flashes for 1/2 second and blackout itself. tried repeatedly but to no avail. thereafter found a s139 image and it worked.
before rooting, if you check the version on your A820, mine read as S130 and was worried might brick device.
must have tried 20 times before gunning the s139 download. all working now.

How to use clockwordmode on st15i to install custom ROm like CM10 JB?

I have rooted my phone alreasy and its on stock ROM & kernel. Now I want to use CM10 JB for ny device for that I should have to use clockword but it doesn't support my device. While the threadd for installing the JB is telling that I have to install it for to be ble to use the JB. But I have downloaded the adb shell for CWM and install it on device through laptop and then downloaded the ROM manger form the play store, Rom manger is finding the CWM but it says that it soen't support my device. I can't backup current kernel and ROM. I just want to know how can I use it on my device to use custom ROM. Also if any one can (specially moderator @nabeel) upload the custom ROM to 4shared.com I'll highly thankful to you all.

Rooting my sony ericsson live with walkman but with the stock rom ( i do not want any custom rom)( locked bootloader)

Hello guys, I have so many problems with my internal memory and which is driving me nuts, always out of space and cannot update any app, so I want to root and to use my sd card as my internal memory ( using link2sd from the play store) fist of all is there any other methods to make my sd card as my internal memory? Secondly can you give me full pros and cons of rooting. And also please can I root my live with walkman on ics .587 directly without reverting to .62 and then upgrading again to 4.0.4 .587 by flashtool ??? And if not if i reverted to the gingerbread .62 can i upgrade again to official .587 ICs by flashtool ? And can I root just with the stock rom without changing it ( as i do not want to use any custom rom , i love sony's rom! and i do not like any unstable thing! is it possible and will it behave well with root access). And please can you give me full procedures for rooting?? And also please can I unroot a rooted phone?? Thanks so much dear in the advance! And yes there is no kernel for xperiamini/ lww, but we use other kernels that help to root our phone
While running the rooting toolkit, your phone should be on. Don't remove and reinsert battery at that step.
It's only when you need to flash your phone using flashtool

I wanted to know what are the steps to follow in-order to install a custom ROM on my xperia ray. I've read few tutorial but still I've got some questions to clarify. Just tell me whether below steps are correct.
First root the device
Unlock the boot loader
Flash a custom ROM
And if I'm installing a custom ROM on to my device I want to achieve below point too.
Want a complete back up with SMS/MMS, Apps ..etc (can be acheived via some back-up apps)
Want to take a complete copy of my current stock firmware (as a ftf file), may move back to stock
Any else, that I should follow which I missed here ...
I'm still curious about this.. Please advise me if I missed anything here since I'm a newbie when it comes to android rooting, flashing stuffs..

quite simple, run SUS or PCC and try to update your phone if it say modified software then you know its unlocked

Well, you should ask in the relevant hacker/ modding forums. The whole point of using custom ROMs is to evade the signature checks for apps and that's what's biting you in your behind here. There may be a way by manually placing a key or changing the underlying .conf files, but that has nothing to do with Adobe.

Yes it is possible.You have to add that method for client interface of AppModule.Now you can see that method in Data Controls(Refresh the data control). To call this method using bean it should add as method action to bindings(Click Bindings>+>methodAction>and Create action binding).
Now you can call this method in bean class.

[HELP] [BPEL 11g] Customized BPEL worklist app could not work on JBoss

We are developing the customized Human Worklist app based on BPEL HW API 11g.
The application (some jsp pages) works fine in JDeveloper 11g. However, after deploy to JBoss, it always prompt with "NoClassDefFoundError" exception, although we have already add following 7 jar files into Classpath:

Then we manually copy many other jars (nearly 100) under Weblogic server, but it still prompt lacking of some jar file with "NoClassDefFoundError" exception.
So, does BPEL 11g support deploy HW app outside weblogic, like JBoss? If so, what we need to set at JBoss side to run our app?

Is it possible to find out how many number of transactions a Customer does so that, if the number of transactions is 1, then that customer is a one time customer. or else he is not?

Hi Bob,
to my knowledge, i cannot recollect a seeded report from oracle that could meet your requirement. You can try running the Transaction Register report from your Go live date till now, so that system would generate a list of all the Invoices along with the Customer Name, then you could export this to excel and perform a sort, filter and groupby to get the desired result ....
However if you are a person with technical expertise, check the table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL this stores all the transaction related information ..... you can select TRX_NUMBER, BILL_TO_CUSTOMER_ID from this table and perform a count by customer...(I am not sure on the syntax and usage of sql functions) you can get the desired results ...
Also in future, while creating a new customer if you know well in advance that this customer is going to be an ONE TIME CUSTOMER, there you could capture that information in any unused field on the customer configuration or can enable a DFF and capture this information, so it becomes very easy to identify such customers or have a report built based on it...
I assume there is an objecive behind trying to find One time customers or customers with a single transaction history ... are you planning to disable/end date/inactivate such customers ....?

Problems with Adobe Touch for Phone on Galaxy Note N7000 - custom ROM

I installed Adobe Touch for Phone on my N7000, and whenever I start it all text (buttons, menu bar, etc) does not show properly: Only small white dots and dahses are visible. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution??

Custom Views in APPS Schema

I am looking for your opinions/best practises on the above subject.
We have all our custom views (for custom apps that are defined as an extension of the oracle app - for instance $XXMAR_TOP as an extention of the $AR_TOP)
defined in the APPS schema.
Does it matter whether these views are defined in the APPS schema or is it a best practice to define custom views in the custom schema with grants to APPS?

The best thing you can do is to check the XDA forum or the website where you got the Custom ROM from

if you have bad/wrong flash, you have to send notebook to service for repair
and no custom bios (or any bios) can't help you to recover it
