To me anyway that method seems rather old fashioned, a few day's after I purchased my IdeaTab A2109A, I was online @ their website getting information about purchasing an extended warranty. After entering the required information
( Serial # ), I was shown on their site that my A2109 didn't even have the full year like it's supposed to. That's when I called the toll-free support phone #. The person I spoke with was very cordial, he gathered my pertinent information, he asked me to provide a copy of my receipt, he asked for my e-mail address, which I provided, he told me he would send me a message that would contain a e-mail address to send a copy of my receipt to, which he did. I scanned my receipt and saved a copy on my laptop computer. I saved the copy in the PDF format, because I thought that would be a accepted format. So far anyway, I haven't received ANY kind of response from the company whatsoever. I really wish they provided a support e-mail address for a situation like this.By the way I performed the same procedure as far as entering my serial # @the site where you can purchase an extended warranty. The information is STILL the same as it was previously, it shows that my A2109A doesn't have a full year of warranty, only 264 day's. Now I don't know what to do, to me anyway.... being a new customer, that qualifies as poor customer service.

Hi,
Unfortunately any HP Software component (HP Toolbox, HP Scan, etc.) for this product support 32-bit envoirnment only.
As you may find by the User Guide, only basic Print and Scan drivers provided for 64-bit (Page 14):

I bought this computer for my dad from someone and had no idea it was a PowerPC or what that meant. I found out it was different when I bought a program for it and it didnt work because it was a PowerPC. Where do I get apps for this computer? It is a G4 and has 10.5.8 software.

The PowePC processor was abandoned in 2006 so it's hard today to find new software that supports it. PPC compatibility is a function of the software developers, not where you buy. Example, TurboTax still runs on G4 computers. Most, however, does not.

It was the last version that ran on PPC. I have it on a PPC G4 1.25Ghz tower and a 1Ghz G4 PowerBook and it runs fine.

The rest of the manuals used to be included on the same CD with the product software, but no more. I don't think you can download the complete documentation set (although you can browse it) but you can order one of their CD "packs" and a separate doc CD is included in that. If you get it under their evaluation/development license, it's just a media/shipping charge--something like $35 for the whole "pack."

Can you try to set the Send Port in "Stopped" state, and then send a message to it. Examine the message suspended in BizTalk, and if everything looks ok, then start the Port again and check that the message has disappeared from both suspended and running
instances in the Group Hub.
If so, quickly check the mail box, make sure that no spam-filters etc. are messing up your test.

Does anyone know where I can get Indesign for CS5? I'm a former student of Kaplan University. I was charged $$ for the purchase Creative Suite 5 (CS5) from the university for use in classes for my BSIT, but the version I received from them for the full purchase price did not include any version of Indesign?!
Prices around the 'Net, including the Adobe store, seem quite high for the CS5 version of Indesign, despite the fact there's already a CS6 version out there. Problem for me is that I can't afford to purchase it at $900 nor purchase a whole new CS6.
Found out I really needed Indesign as a cohesive for the rest of the programs in the Creative Suite after purchasing a self-teaching manual for the CS5. Didn't even know the program existed prior to purchasing the manual (thanks Kaplan! LOL)
Hoping one of you gurus can help me out and one day I'll be able to repay that favor to someone else :-)

I just looked on eHow and Indesign is merely a way to compose brochures, booklets, and ebooks, it's not important as I'd been led to believe. I can buy a new version of Indesign for CS5 as a standalone and it costs roughly $338, which I may do later this year.
It does matter who's to blame in the case of Kaplan and I'm working with my U.S. Senator on that case. Online schools need to be just as accountable for how they treat their students as any other institute of higher learning and/or group that is taking $$ for assistance. The way to change that is through law and better oversight to ensure they meet accreditations and specified educational and regulatory standards.
Sadly CS6 is only available in a downloadable version. It's crazy to know that I'd have to spend $2,700.00 to purchase something that is only in a downloadable format and to know that new computers may be made without CD/DVD drives so that everything can go cloud - meaning anyone would look at my ideas on the cloud end and use them?! But change is inevitable and so be it.
You're helpful in the fact that it might be best to either purchase new versions of specific products I want or upgrades I need as that's more cost effective and the versions would be compatible with the latest technologies. But since circumstances had not allowed me to complete my education (yet), I work in a minimum wage position and will need to save up to get anything old or new
