K7N420 Bios ver 2.27 has a problem

I just discovered a problem with bios version 2.27. After flashing to it my Sidewinder joystick would show as not connected. I tried everything to bring it back. See, it worked fine until I treied to fix a problem with the nic not working with a new D-link router. I flashed the bios and upgrade the unified driver to 2.03. Neither worked. It did, however, kill the joystick. Well, bringing the driver back to 1.00 didn't fix it but flashing back to 2.00 did. Just thought I'd let you all know.

the C1E Option was removed in BIOS v2.7. It is still present, in v2.6. If you need to access that option, stick to version v2.6. If you system ran fine with v2.6, there is no need to use v2.7. It only contains a microcode update for the E8400 and updates some DMI Information (only cosmetical).

Unfortunately, you are not the only person with this problem. I purchased a non-SLI version of this board about 6 weeks ago and am on my third battery, all from different manufacturers. The board was originally flashed with V1.50 but I flashed it to v1.30 because I had read that it was a better version. This has not stopped the draining battery problem. Have e-mailed MSI and Monarch Computer tech support hoping to get an answer but haven't received any replys yet. K9A2 Platinum (MS-7376) S3 not waking from suspend on BIOS ver 1.b

Hello, I’m new to posting on this forum, so if I commit a faux pas, yell at me and I’ll go shoot myself.
The Problem: System will NOT awaken from S3 standby. System DOES awaken from S1 standby.
The History: Problem began after updating BIOS from Ver. 1.5 (7376v15) to Ver. 1.b (7376v1b) to provide CPU support for “AMD Phenom II X6 1090T”. (Previous CPU was AMD Phenom X4 9850) Prior to BIOS to Ver. 1.b update, S3 standby worked just fine.
System appears to awaken (HDD spin up, etc) but the display doesn't rise and shine. My guess is the adapter doesn't get powered on.
My Thoughts: This problem appears similar to the S3 problem in BIOS ver. 1.4 which was resolved in BIOS ver. 1.5.
No other problems have been noticed as a result of the BIOS update or the CPU upgrade.
I suspect BIOS incompatibility with NVIDA Vid adapter in as much as K9A2 has had similar problem before. And apparently the K9N2 currently has a similar problem which has been acknowledged by MSI.
All thoughts appreciated . . . .
BTW – Only other concern I have with the 1090T is how to wipe the grin off my face.

To elaborate: From all appearances, the PC goes into S3 suspend state just the way it has for a couple of years now. That is to say, the HDDs spin down, the fans turn off, the lan light stops blinking, the router for this PC turns yellow from green meaning it is no longer active, the monitor blanks to black and then powers down.
When I try to resume from the apparent S3 suspend state by pressing the ctrl-space keys; the system, case, and cpu fans start spinning, the HDDs spin up, the lan light starts blinking, the router light for this PC turns from yellow to green, and the monitor powers up -
BUT IT REMAINS BLANK, BLACK, DEAD, AS IN NOTHING DISPLAYED ON IT
And that, Sir, is the problem, at least from my perspective.

Satellite L750D - BIOS update 2.1 and sound problem

I have little problem. I have been downloaded from your website BIOS 2.1 for Toshiba Satellite L750D (PSK32E).
I have been updated BIOS to 2.1 and start problem with sound. When I start game, music or something other only 2 first minutes sound plays properly but then it stops for no reason. No sound at all. I have been reinstalled op system but the problem is still there.
Sound works for 2 minutes only then is completely off. Every start application with sound plays 2 minutes and stop all quiet is. I have made a probe on my mother laptop its a twin laptop. I have been updated bios same problem 2 minutes and then no sound. My operating system is win 8 pro 64 my mother laptop is with win 7 x64 premium.
Two BIOS updated 2.1 ver on L750D and the problem is same. Please fix BIOS.

The BIOS seems to be very old. I was released nearly 1.5 years ago so to be honest I doubt its and BIOS issue.
I had the similar issue with my other notebook equipped with an Realtek sound card.
The sound appeared again after plugging and removing the headphone jack
But i could solve this installing the newest sound driver update from Realtek driver page.
But it seems that your Satellite does not support Realtek sound chip but Conexant sound chip.
Therefore the solution might not be useful for you.
However, I think you need to update the sound driver.I recommend you to google for Conexant SmartAudio HD driver and to test the newest available driver version.
In internet I could found the Conexant SmartAudio HD Driver version 8.65.9.51 for Win 7/ Win 8 / Win 8.1
Not quite sure if this is the newest version but you can test it.
In order to manually update your driver:
1. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel)
2. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver Software
3. Choose to select the location of the new driver manually and browse to the folder where you downloaded the driver

Anybody plz help me.I own a mobo above running amd athlon xp 2000+. My system run well for one week. After dat, my system started to give me problem. It hangs one day and when i reboot my com, the message "Windows protection error. Please restart your computer" appears. I tried already many times to restarted my com..but still fails. So i think maybe RAM problem..so i try to remove and reinstall the RAM. Then my com succeed to boot into windows. Everything run ok..no problem for few days. Then suddenly my com hang again and I juz reboot my com. Then the same message appears again..May i know wat happened to my com.PLEASE HELP ME...:'(

Try uninstalling the sound card and any other nonessential components. Also, when you uninstall click on the "show hidden" items and remove duplicates. Don't remove anything that you do not know exactly what it is including any marked "unknown" but if you see multiple sound cards or cd-roms, etc. remove them. Then see if you boot ok and gradually reinstall items.

i have decided to flash my bios .. the thing is, i have a K8T Neo2 FIR motherboard and a athlon 64 3800+ venice core cpu
at the moment i have ver 3.3 bios
the ver 9.1 is for the k8t neo
is this the one i need for the neo2 fir?

I have read through the sticky .. seems a few people have had a little trouble with other issues since flashing to a new bios .. but if i don't get that duel channel i'll never sleep easy.
i downloaded that version of clockgen and the agp lock does work. it was never a bios ver problem just a software one. the ver that ends in number 405 is the one to use.

Signal is strong and call quality (me hearing the other) is still very good but it looks as if I’m going on mute while I’m not muting my iPhone. When dropping the call and re-dialing it works fine again. It’s a brand new iPhone 5S but it now happened already 4 or 5 times in 2 days.
It feels like a hardware/iOS problem and not a network issue. It happend with iOS7.03 but I just see 7.0.4 is available so will install that one now.

I called Verizon today......stopped in to the store today......My neighbor told me they waved charges for her one time. Lots of charges.....But I'm am getting no help. Not even an offer of a payment plan to help me out. I went back just 6 months and I have over paid for 19G.....Seems like they would like to help out their loyal customers!!!! Does anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with them? We are not wealthy....or I would just pay this and walk away......

There is a big misconception in what customers believe a cell carrier is obligated to do.
You pay a set price to use up to that amount of xx data. It makes no difference if you use it to the paid limit or way under. Its like peace of mind when you don't have to worry about a data counter.
Your daughter used the data, your plan is quite clear of what overage charges are. Why should or would Verizon wireless just forgive the charges because you are a customer? Your daughter used the data, get the money from her. That is the responsible thing to do.
There is no "I have been a loyal customer so please remove the $120, or $250, or $2,000.00 since I did not mean to use it"
Your electric company, or gas company or any other company does not remove valid charges. Why should Verizon wireless?
Just pay the invoice and don't think you are being mistreated because Verizon is a business and not a charity.

Mail on my iPhone 4 and my old iMac has no problems. When there is no service a yellow warning triangle appears adjacent to the Inbox and Connection Doctor reports,"Trying to log into this MobileMe IMAP account failed. Verify that username and password are correct." Since it does fetch Mail from time to time they cannot be wrong.... can they? Should I update to 10.7 and if so what does that entail?

You have been using MobileMe's email settings, which sometimes continue to work for a time after migration but then get turned off. iCloud's mail server settings are different. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems. iTunes is thinking my old iphone 4 is the same phone as my iphone 5C. When I plugged in my iphone 5C it auto synced my 5C to iTunes and it wiped my 5C and restored it to the same content as is on my iPhone 4. This is a big problem since my 5 year old has been using the iPhone 4. It's all Mickey Mouse and Backyardigans. (Total photo/app/contacts loss)
I was able to update the 5C and restore from a 3 month old backup that is actually the content from the 5C but now when I plug in my 5C it wants to "setup as new phone" or "restore from backup" What's going on? I'm afraid to choose either option.
How can I get iTunes to see these devices as 2 and not one?
Can I use my Apple ID on both phones still or is this the problem?

They were both displaying the same name in iTunes. I changed the name of the iPhone 4 before the 5C was plugged in but it still went ahead with syncing it to the 4's data.
