K8NGM2 Series TV out backplane connector

Does anyone know if this item is available and what it consists of, i.e could I just knock up a connector with some RCA connectors directly from the motherboards IDE connector!!  I want component video out for HD TV.
Does anyone know the price of the TV out connector???
By the way I live in the UK.

  • Visio UML - Long object lifetime run out of connector points

I have a sequence diagram that is attempting to model a relatively long business process over a large number of objects.
the problem is that as I extended the object lifetime swimlane I run out of connector points the automatically appear on the line, so I cannot attach a new activation shape.
How can I get more connector points to be automatically drawn on the line.  I have been unable to use the Connection Point tool (Shift+Ctrl+1) to put new connection point directly on the swimlane, it keeps snapping to the grid lines and not to the line.
    Cheers...

    Hi,
If you are trying to create a point-to-point connection and having a difficult time gluing a connector exactly where you want it, try different snap and glue settings:
On the View tab, Visual Aids group, click the
Snap & Glue dialog box launcher, select the options that you want.

  • Pin out for connector block - CB-50LP (50 pins)

    1. Need pin out designation for 50 pins connector block, for use in multifunction DAQ (6024E)
    2. Connections from 6024E to 68 pins connector block.

    1.  How are you connecting the 6024E to the 50 pin connector block?  Any special 68 to 50 pin cable or adapter should have a pinout that comes with it.  If you have an NI cable or adapter you should be able to look in that part's manual online at ni.com and find this pinout.
    2.  What specific 68-pin connector block are you using, is it an SCB-68?  For an SCB-68 the pins on the connector block are mapped to the same pin on the 6024E or any E-Series and most M-Series boards.  The pinout for the 6024E will be the pinout for the SCB-68.

  • Why are some of my photos tack sharp while others in the same series are out of focus?

My camera is a Canon Rebel XS (dSLR) and I primarily use the 50mm f/1.8 lens.
I shoot in Manual Mode with Autofocus ON.
I am having difficulty with my photos coming out incositant - some are out of focus, while others in the same series (taken a moment apart) are tack sharp.
I've attached two examples - one of the out-of-focus image, the other sharp images (both have been blown up).
It is not camera shake and my settings are identical for both photos. (ISO 200 | f/4.5 | 1/100sec in this instance.)
This has become such a problem that I find myself needing to take 10x more photos of the same subject/pose in order to hopefully get one sharp image from the series.
I have asked multiple people about this problem (though I have yet to take my camera and lens to a shop due to lack of funds) and no one has any idea of either what I'm talking about or what the problem could be.
I would appreciate your thoughts and help!
    Thank you!
    Fuzzy/Out of Focus:
    Sharp:

This new pair of images does not look like camera motion -- this one looks like it missed focus.
If you use the included Canon Digital Photo Professional that came with your camera, you can right-click an image and tell it show you the focus point which were used (the camera wont know if you did a focus-and-recompose technique... so if you recompose after locking focus then the focus points indicated by DPP wouldn't be meaningful). But I bring this up because it would allow you to determine which focus point the camera claims it used.
I think you mentinoned that you used "One Shot" focus mode -- not AI Servo. One Shot should block the camera from taking the shot until it thinks it confirmed focus-lock on the selected AF point (or on at least one AF point it you allow the camera to pick from any of its available focus points.) In AI Servo the camera WILL take the shot when you fully press the button -- whether it successfully locked focus or not.
That brings us back to the subject of the focus test.
If you do not own a commercial chart, then you may want to download one from the Internet and print it. Here's a good site: http://regex.info/blog/photo-tech/focus-chart
Print the chart and follow the instructions. I deliberately run the camera out of focus to nearest focus distance and force the camera to re-focus and shoot... and I repeat this at least a half-dozen times. I then repeat... but this time deliberately run the camera out of focus to infinity before forcing the camera to focus and take the shot.
Track each shot as you do the focus test. You may see a pattern emerge (e.g. perhaps it nails focus when going in one direction to find focus... but misses in another, etc.) Such a pattern might indicate the lens is getting sloppy and needs service (it's usually not worth servicing the 50mm f/1.8 due to it's low cost.) The USM and STM lenses allow full-time manual focus override (even if the lens is auto-focusing). The basic auto-focus motor lenses (like the 50mm f/1.8) do not support this and forcing manual focus without disengaging the focus system can be harmful.

  • W530 drive bay design flaw - drive slide out of connectors?

Hi, I recently purchased a W530 with a hard drive bay and I've been experiencing trouble with the bay.
The problem is that there is no mechanism in the drive bay to keep the drive "in bay" - i.e. connected. Because of a small gap between the drive and the wall of the bay the drive will slide out of the connector when the laptop is put in the bag vertically.
this seems to me like a major design flaw in the drive bay, and I'm wondering if others are experiencing the same issue and know about any workarounds.

    Kaso wrote:
    > Assuming that you are using the UltraBay 12.7mm Lenovo adapter, you must use both the drive tray AND the rubber rails to secure the HDD within the unit.
First, you buy the right 12.7mm-high UltraBay HDD caddy adapter that is compatible with the W530. Second, you put the HDD in the hollow space of the caddy adapter and secure the HDD with the four tiny screws that are provided as part of the caddy adapter. Finally, you plug the whole thing (caddy **bleep** drive) into the UltraBay until the secure latch "clicks" and the caddy bezel flushes evenly with the right side of the chassis.
There are no "rubber rails" involved.
There are NO screws supplied with the Lenovo 12.7mm UltraBay caddy. The caddy presumes that you are using a Lenovo supplied HDD with the drive tray and the rubber rails Look at the diagrams on the flexible cover on the caddy. The Newmodeus caddy uses screws only (supplied) and does not need the rubber rails nor the drive tray.

  • X-series analog out fifo preload

i am porting an m-series driver to x-series, and have a quick question about analog output.
i have found that I can preload the aout FIFO by writing sequential data to:
            device.AO.AO_FIFO_Data_Register.writeRegister(val);
however this is a 32-bit register, and through trial and error I have found that i have to write two values at a time:
        for(int i=0;i<preloadCount;i+=2)
            u32 val = buffer[i] & 0xffff;     // buffer has correctly scaled DAC values, as 32-bit ints
if (i<(preloadCount-1))           // in case preload count not divisible by 2
                val |= buffer[i+1]<<16;
            device.AO.AO_FIFO_Data_Register.writeRegister(val);
is there a way to write one 16-bit value at a time to the analog out fifo?
    thanks,

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

additionally, is there a way to DMA 32-bit values to analog out, without them being interpreted as pairs of 16-bit values?
for analog input, both problems (writes to the fifo, and dma to the fifo) are solved by setting the fifo width:
    aiHelper.programFIFOWidth(nAI::kFourByteFifo, status)
but so far I have not found a similar mechanism for analog output.

  • CTI: screen pops with out CTI connector

    Hi.
i have business scenario where we need to perform screen pops for an incoming phone call without traditional connector solution. currenty we have ivr/cti and sap crm icweb. my initail thoughts were to implement  webservice from cti/when call gets routed to agent.once acd sends call to agents it should trigger webservice to sap crm ici through http call ici should intercept the soap message and parse(transformation) it to abap through ici. e.g if i use exisiting ici soap and use ici adapter( with custom built ICI proxy classes from the WSDL ) plus a http get to include user id and account from CTI would this be a good approach*  sap crm 5 version*
    1. now questions araises on how we should assign call to same agent who got call routed.
    2. how to sync up both cti and ic webcient so that there is no time lapse
i have seen few experts implemented similar solution How to trigger a search in CRM IC
"server-side integration between CRM 5.0 IC WebClient and web-based telephony client
running besides. We used same technique as ICI interface to communicate IC WebClient,
i.e. simple abap messaging (SAM). Restriction: works only INBOUND"
it should be great help if anyone can share there thoughts on this.

Perhaps try snooping the connection between your client and the server and see what the calendar server sent back - issues in the past that have lead to error #0x802C1034 have been:
-> old version of Outlook Connector
-> old version of Calendar Server
Which patch level are you running for calendar server (showrev -p | grep ics5) and what release/patch of Outlook Connector are you running?

  • Does voice command work with a line-out (dock connector) plugged in?

Thinking of upgrading to 4th gen touch if I could use voice command in the car.  I do not want to use the headphone/mic jack for sound quality reasons.

AFAIK, none of the pins on the iPhone dock connector support this, thus there is no way to do what you want. You're not the first to want to do this. All I can suggest is that you suggest such to Apple:

  • Can not play timeline out DVI connector to projector.

Does anyone know the proper procedure for doing this? I can see the video, and hear the audio, but it freezes on a single frame and will not play. The funny thing is, I can scrub the video and see it, but I can't hit the spacebar and play it!
I've got a presentation in the morning, and it's a little frustrating.
    Sincere thanks,
    Kent Rich

Don't forget to turn the External Video in the View Menu on to all frames or Press Command+F12.

this could be a big part of the problem. You're not using the projector as a DV device or external video device at all. You're not exporting or playing anything out to the projector, it's just a monitor hung on your Mac. Your 'book may not have the testosterone to drive two monitors.

  • GeForce4 MX series TV-OUT Chip ???

Does anyone know what tv chip has G4 MX (any) sice detonator recogise them like "NV17 Internal". ?(  ?(
OK chip is integrated but it must have a manufacurer and a model (ex. Conexant 7007) because nVIDIA doesn't create TV chips.
I tried to find some informations about it but there isn't any.

nvidia does integrate tv out on nv17, take a look at tvtool.de  (in german) pitty tvtool does not suport nv 17

  • K8NGM2 Series

I want to purchase this board. The downloaded manual mentions only System fan speed monitoring in the hardware monitor section. Does this mean there is no CPU fan monitoring in the bios.

no doubt that it will be monitored. CPU fan speed is basic.  It is the case fan that so many motherboards do not monitor.

  • CA-1000. How to connect between the TTL 3.3v to 5.0 v pullup circuit and the J-series ports

I open the CA-1000 and trying to configure the wire similar to the attached diagram.
But I have trouble figuring out where are the DIO 8, 9, 10, 11, ... because there is no label in the flexible flat wire connected between the J-series ports and the pullup circuit (I think the orange circuit board is the one). Please see the picture attached.
Also, what is the yellow block plug into the pullup circuit? Is there any special alignment between this yellow one and the pins on the black head?

    Hi longbelao,
We may need to clear a few things up before we work on the connection diagram you have.
The best way to determine the pins on the ribbon cable would most likely be to use a DMM. Could you also clarify where you are connecting the ribbon cable?
From my understanding of your pictures, the orance circuit board is just a breadboard for you to build your circuit from the connection diagram you have. When you are discussing the "yellow block" are you talking about the SIP resistor? If so, this is just a pack of resistors you can use for your circuit. Also, the 8x2 breakout for your 16 pin ribbon cable will not work in the breadboard. The rows of 5 holes are connected in series. Putting the connector in the breadboard would short the pins together. However, if this cable is only connected to D8 through D-15 this may not be an issue. Again further clarification on where the other end of the ribbon cable would be helpful for further understanding your hardware set-up.

  • K8T Neo Series JUSB connecting

    Hello,
While cleaning op my case, and hiding all cabled to optimize my airflow I accidentally ripped out the connectors of the 2nd JUSB connector on my MSI K8T Neo series Motherboard. I first thougt It was made out of 1 connector, but unfortunatly they were about 10 tiny connectors.
that JUSB connector is for my front-side USB 2.0 connectors.
I know how to reconnect them, but I don't know in which order.
They are all different colors and are labled:
2x 'GND' each in an other color, 2x 'Power' each in an other color, ....
I checked my motherboard's  "quick user's guide", about those JUSB connectors, where they gice the correct oreder. My Problem is that the lables in the Manual aren't the same as the labels on the tiny connectors.
Does anyone has the correct order, maybe in color, so that I can reconnect them in a proper way?
    Thank you very much,
    Hans.
