K8T800: Wont load! Screen stuck at "CoreCell" Logo

I was going to redo my whole computer today and wipe everything out. upon inserting my windows xp cd, the blue screen came up, and started loading. All of a sudden I realized that there was something on my computer that I needed. I simply pushed the power button infront of my computer. I turned my computer back on to go back in and retrieve this file before i started deleting everything. i turned it on and the logo "CoreCell" came up and stayed there. I hit tab and got the detailed menu, but I couldnt click -F10, F11, F12, Delete, anything. I want to get past the logo so i can retreive this information before I start formatting. How can I go about getting around this? Thanks

Hi
Unplug the power cord from the power supply and remove the cmos battery.  Push the power button a few times to drain the power from the motherboard.  Leave it set for about ten minutes and then reassemble everything.  When it boots go into the bios and set the time and date. Save and exit.  Boot it up and see if everything works then.

My macbook had a weird behavior on the display, now it won't go further than gray loading screen with the apple logo. It's a macbook pro early 2011. I've read that those are having issues, if there's someone i can contact for further information, report the issue since it's getting common or any temporal solution available. Thanks

Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    Reinstall Mountain Lion or Mavericks
OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mountain Lion- Reinstall OS X
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Iphone wont load homescreen , stuck on apple load screen.

iphone powers on but it wil not load up ,it stays on the apple load screen.

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

  • The Infamous Loading Screen Stuck!

    Lets start from the beginning:
My boss got this Mac Book Pro from the apple store during the summer, and had an instore immediate upgrade on the ram. The next day we were doing some major updates, when out of no where it loads to the grey screen (with the little spinning gear). After about 2 days of tech support, all we get is a "REINSTALL OSX".
Well after that mayhem, we've arrived again to this same infamous loading screen (with the spinning gear). This is the second time, and after buying tech support (phone) just to fix it again, the only answer we get is, "REINSTALL OSX." Can anyone please help with another fix to this? I've backed up all the files to our second mac, however, the last time the computer was at tech support, we got it returned, minus the installation dvds (which is why it is a problem now).
This only happens when there is a required reboot, after updates.

    Right… this is what I would do…
    1) Reinstall Mac OS X using the "Erase and install" option (selected when you are offered destination drives)
    2) Reset PRAM and NVRAM…
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238
… and the System Management Controller…
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303319.
    3) Before applying any updates Repair Disk Permissions in Disk Utility.
    4) Apply the firware update ONLY. Be careful to follow the instructions to the letter.
    5) If you can get past there I think you problems are done with.

  • Loading Screen stuck... won't change to my desktop.

Hey guys, i'm really looking for some help. So i turned my computer on, and the loading screen (gray background, apple in the middle, rotating loading circle), the circle just keeps rotating and my computer won't "turn on". I tried waiting and trying later in the day, same problem. Is there anyone out there who can help?

Turn it off. Hold down the option key and try and boot off the DVD. If that is a non starter then try a safe boot by holding down the shift key after the chime. If that gets you nowhere then see if the machine will boot to target mode (hold down t key) and hook it to another mac via firewire. You can also see if any errors are showing up as the machine trying to boot by holding down command v at boot. You could also try doing a file system check via single user mode. Your machine seems to be hanging right after BootX and the kernel is trying to load.

  • Zen Micro, Screen stuck on Creative logo, free

I was jogging recently and my Zen Micro fell off the pants clip i had on. When i picked my micro up off the ground the song i was listening to, was still playing, and played for another minute, before the micro shut off completely. It then would not turn on with the power button. So i removed the battery, and put it back in, and the micro came on, and the 'creative' logo was the only thing on my screen. With the logo on the screen, my micro wouldn't do anything, and just freezes. Anybody know how to resolve this predicament that im in? Or anybody have this happen to them, and know how to fix it's? I would appreciate any help i could get, Thank you in advance!

You can always try removing the battery and seeing if it reboots correctly, after you tried the Rescue Mode options.
The last option before sending the player in would be a firmware update.
    Cheers,
    Jan.

  • Ipad screen stuck on Apple logo and empty progress bar.

    Hello,
My iPad screen is stuck on the Apple logo and empty progress bar. I have tried rebooting the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds but the screen doesn't change.
The problem arose after I tried to reset the sttings on the iPad after an app wouldn't open.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

  • IPhone screen stuck on Apple logo, iPhone cancels sync in iTunes

I noticed the volume indicator read "headphones" when the headphones were no longer plugged in. Then it all got worse from there. I have read many posts and tried many things multiple times but can not get the phone to work. The black screen w/ the logo is stuck. I can get the picture on the screen of the plug & iTunes icon (for connecting to iTunes v9), but that soon leaves and returns the logo screen. When I connect to iTunes a message appears "recovery mode detected must restore" which I try to do (I get all the common messages, extracting, preparing, waiting, restoring, verifying, restoring firmware, iphone has been restored to factory settings). But when I get to the "Set Up Your iPhone" page and attempt to restore from any recent backups I get error messages that go something like this: Attempting to copy to the disk "iPhone" failed. The device is not connected.; not sync iPhone canceled sync; could not sync contacts iPhone canceled sync; could not sync cannot read or write to disk. Also note, that little circle of status bars goes around and around (on the screen w/ the logo) at times but nothing happens. Any suggestions before I trek an hour to the Apple store?

Strange looks from the Genius at the Apple store when explaining my problem. He looked at the terminals with what looked like a otoscope and said the moisture sensors were activated (the 2 visible w/out taking phone apart, in each terminal jack, headphone & charger). Then he went in the back room to take phone apart to see if the internal sensor was activated. It was not, therefore my phone was covered by warranty and it was replaced at no cost other than my time and gas. I JUST WANT TO SAY my phone has never been around water. These phones need to be better designed (i.e., use gold plated terminals) to handle humidity from your pocket, from being in a bathroom when you shower, from moving from cold enviroment to hot, etc. This is my 4th iPhone in less then 2 years. I like to talk my Apple products up to my pc freinds but when I have issues like this they stick it to me.

  • Ipod Mini screen stuck on Apple Logo?

The screen is stuck showing only the apple logo. I have tried resetting it but it doesn't do anything. I have plugged it up to my pc and started my itunes and it isn't reading the Ipod either.

    Hello Lisa03,
By a reset, I assume you meaning holding the Select and Menu buttons together until the Apple logo appears correct? No response at all when you do that? Have you made sure the hold switch wasn't on.
If you cannot get the iPod to reset, your only option at this point is to let the battery completely drain. Once it has, you can hook it up to your computer, and let it charge long enough for it to be recognized by your computer and iTunes.

  • Screen stuck on Apple Logo after Trying to Update Software

My iphone screen is locked on the apple icon after trying twice ( and unsuccessfully) to download the 2.2.1 software update. Plugging the phone into a computer or power source doesn't help.
Would appreciate any help with how to get this working...

Used the iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant and decided to "reset" the phone and restore to it's factory settings.

  • IMac wont boot up - stuck on Apple logo with Spinning wheel.

(Title is the Problem) any fixes?
Ive tried repairing disc using the installed disk/utility and it says that the Macintosh HD cannot be repaired & i really dont want to lose all my files.
    However..
I have my iMac Dual booted with W7, Now is it possible to do the following....
    Go to:
Windows icon (bottom left) > Computer > Copy Macintosh HD > External HDD > Paste?
(so in effect its a backup)
Will i then be able to reinstall OSX and then load my files from it, or restore from it? (from the Ex. HDD)
    Many Thanks in advance.

    EDIT:
    Just thought:
If i reinstall the OSX - Will my files already upload onto the new OS install? As i have a feeling that Windows does that when upgrading - whether its the same for Reinstalling is a different matter i s'pose.

Boot with your install disc, launch Disk Utility from the Utilities menu after selecting your language, and repair the disk. You can't repair the boot volume. Now some other tips. Reinstalling Snow Leopard only replaces all the OS components and basic Apple apps, such as TextEdit, Mail, and Safari, but leaves everything else in place. There's no chance of losing data unless it's already corrupted and lost anyway. There's no need to muck around with the windoze stuff, which, IIRC, won't work anyway.

  • Macbook Pro stuck at loading screen, one more question

I recently posted on the discussions forums about my MCP problem. Essentially, after a freeze I turned it off via the power button and then it does not turn on, stucking at the loading screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel.
I know that this is a widely known issue, and common solutions are to reset pram and try turning it on with through the install disk. I tried everything, but to no avail. Although I could turn it on through the install disk and run the Disk Utility program, it said that everything appears to be OK. So I was wondering if it is a hardware problem and I must get it to the apple store (which is a problem for me) and consult one of the genius members, or is reinstalling everything through the original disk might solve the problem as well?
When I turned it on through the disk, it had no problems booting. If I back all my data up, and then make a reinstall from scratch through the disk, would it solve the freezing problem?
    I appreciate your help.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
Reinstall OS X.  This will not erase your hard drive.
Given that this is widely known then before posting your question you should have searched the forums to find previously posted solutions.
