K9n platinum compatible with arctic cooling freezer 64 pro?

I'm picking up the X2 6400+ black edition and I was wondering if the arctic cooling freezer 64 pro is compatible with the K9N platinum.

This is the kind of simple query that Google can answer very easily

  • RAM compatible with 3930K and ASUS P9X79 PRO + more

    Hello all-knowledgeable computer friends,
I am taking the plunge and am about to purchase these parts via newegg for ~$2000 to complete my DIY Premiere Pro 6/AE video editing computer for DSLR footage. I would love any feedback possible. What do you love/what do you hate? What should I change?
    Some questions:
-Can anyone double-check my RAM, motherboard, & CPU compatibility?
-Should I invest in a cooling fan?
-Will 750w be enough for PSU?
-Which RAM should I go with, 1600 or 1866 with the 3930k? Ripjaws a good selection?

Hi folks I have a similar question. I already have purchased most of the components for my new build, including the following:
    Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 2011, X79, EATX, 8x DDR3, PCI, 5x PCI-e, Crossfire, SLi, 4x SATA-300, 6x SATA-600, 0, 1, 5, 10, 1Gbps, 2x eSATA, FW, 7x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, PS/2, 7.1,
    Cooler Master HAF X
    Intel Core i7 3930K Boxed Socket 2011 cpu 3,2GHz
    Noctua NH-D14 Special Edition (LGA 2011) 140mm
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W 80-plus-gold
    2x Intel 520 120GB 120GB SSD (OEM) SATA-600
    Zotac GeForce GTX 580 AMP2 815MHz 3GB GDDR5
The last component which I still haven't figured out is the RAM.
As I understand, the 3930k works (best) with 1,35v ram. My question is, will this 1,35v ram work on the Gigabyte mobo, which supports 1,5v memory? Or do I have to adjust something in the Bios in order to make the ram work properly? Or do I have a major problem here?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Any other suggestions on this build are welcome!

  • Sata III hard drive cable compatible with older generation of macbook pro

Would my macbook ( 17 in mid 2009 ) be compatible with a new hard drive cable ( sata III ) ? I upgraded my hard drive to Samsung Pro 840 and wanted to upgrade my sata II cable to a sata III for faster read and write. Is this possible?

    Dave The Newbie,
replacing the cable will not increase the interface speed, just as putting racing slicks on a minivan won’t make it a dragster. I have the same model SSD in my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro, and my MacBook Pro’s SATA interface is limited to SATA II, just like yours. Unless you’re planning on mainly running disk-bound apps, it’s not something that you’ll need to worry about — just enjoy the SSD as is.

  • Is the Kingston SSD 240GB Sata3 2.5" SSDNow V 200 compatible with a LATE 2011 Macbook Pro 13?

I need to know if it is 100% compatible and not give me problems in the future.
    I hope some help, thanks!!!

Kingston Hyper X is compatible with your Macbook.
Another SSD to look at is the Samsung 830 Series and Sandisk Extreme.
There are a few of us here using the Crucial M4.  I have the 256GB and 512GB Crucial M4 drives.
As for the RAM.  You can use Crucial, Mushkin, Corsair and Patriot.
I use Crucial on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro 15 Inch and Patriot Signature Series on my Late 2011 13 Inch Pro.
Both are 16GB with no issues.  Patriot Signature Series is currently on sale for $100 (16GB)....Not sure which part of the world you live in so can't give you any stores that sells them.
In any event, good luck with your transplant.

  • Is Logic Pro X compatible with M-Audio Fast Track Pro?

    Hi,
new Logix Pro X looks very interesting - does anyone know if M-Audio Fast Track Pro is compatible with it (couldn't find any topics so far..).
    Thanks for your help!

    Back to basics..
I googled Fast Track Pro compatibility with OS X 10.8.x and found several incompatibility issues and no experiences in version 10.8.4 so far.
So there is a risk that when ugprading Lion to Mountain Lion 10.8.4, Fast Track Pro wouldn't work any longer.
And purchasing LPX for 180e and a new MOTU audio interface for 230e over doubles the initial price of LPX alone..not so attractive deal anymore..
Do you know if there are any good ways to get back to Lion after installing ML if there seems to be problems with Fast Track Pro? I'm using MacBook Pro with preinstalled Lion. I googled too many articles on this and I'm still confused if going back to Lion is possible or not.
    Thanks again!

  • Is InDesign 2.0 compatible with all versions of Adobe Pro?

Is InDesign 2.0.2 compatible with all versions of Adobe Professional?
For years, I created InDesign documents using 2.0.2, placing PDF documents created using Acrobat Distiller 6.0.1 (Windows) with no issue.  At the beginning of 2010, my software was updated from Adobe Pro 6 to Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 with no change to InDesign.
When I place PDF documents created using the newer 9 version, I receive an error, "This PDF document was saved with security settings which prevent its pages from being placed."  I am unable to decipher what needs to be changed.  Under the security properties of the PDF documents created using version 6 and 9, there are NO security settings.
Is there an action step I can take when placing the PDF documents (version 9) into InDesign 2.0?

In Acrobat 9, open the PDF.
    Go to the Document Menu
    Select Reduct File Size
    Set the compatability level
Alternately, Export the PDF to PDF/X, and select the 1a option. This should 'dumb down' the PDF enough for ID 2 to accept it.

  • MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum compatible with AMD 5400+ BLack Edition???

I looked at MSI's chart, the AMD 5400+ BLack Edition was NOT listed, yet the 5000+ BE was.  To further confuse me, I read all of newegg's review for this board, 1 user was running a AMD 5400+ BLack Edition on it.  Can someone please confirm?  Thanks!!!

I can confirm that this CPU does work with this board.  I have asked this question to MSI Online Customer Service about a week ago and this was their response:
    Dear xxxxx,
Thanks for contacting MSI Technical Support Team!
Regarding your concern, yes, both your ADO5400DSWOF & ADO5000DSWOF are supported by this mainboard.
For more details, please refer to below link for CPU Support List:

Hope that helps.  I am getting that processor too!!  Can't wait!

  • Neo2 Platinum compatible with EO stepping cpus??

    Hi
Just wondering if MSI has any comment on this? I think all us neo2 plat owners would really like to hear something from the horses mouth so to speak. Shame on you if you dont!
Maybe the 1.5 bios has been released to address this problem? Shame it's not showing up in the search yet...
    thanks

Please read and comply with the Forum Rules.
Carefully read them and you will find out that this is a user to user forum. MSI does not read or respond here. It is such a shame that people won't read before posting dumb comments here.
If you want a responce from MSI on the issue then use this link and find out How to contact MSI.
Otherwise you may ask us what we know. It is very little ATM on the newest CPU's, but we will know as soon as most folks.
Oh ya... Shame on those who don't read the rules...

  • I need help with a frequently freezing macbook pro late 2011.

The problem started about three weeks ago. Since then I have been trying to troubleshoot myself. With every page or site I go to, including mac applications, my computer freezes with a spinning wheel every 30 seconds or so. The problem began before I upgraded to mavericks. When that did not fix the problem I tried to erase and reinstall mountain lion in recovery. I was able to erase but was only given the option to reinstall mavericks, which I did. I keep seeing the same things in my console. I am not sure if I have one related problem or multiple problems. Please help.

  • What video cards are compatible with my early 2006 Mac Pro?

The video card currently in my early 2006 Mac Pro (2.6 GHz, dual-core) isn't fast enough for many of the recent games and I'd like to upgrade. I play games both on OSX Snow Leopard and Windows XP via Boot Camp. Is there a list of currently compatible cards available somewhere?
    Thanks.

No, not really.... but a couple of tips...
    1) when you're pulling the old card out, remember there is a black plastic retainer clip at the inner (front of computer) end. I didn't notice that, and now it's broken.
    2) Get the 5770 from Apple, not a big box store.... those don't come with the power cable you need and may not work.
    3) Plug the power cable into the mother board (?) first. It's fiddly, especially if you have big hands.... then plug it into the card, then slot it into the computer.
There are demos on youtube, but they all seem to miss out the fiddly bits.....!

  • Is CS5.5 Production Premium compatible with 8.1 on Surface Pro 3?

I have been trying to install my CS5.5 onto my new Surface Pro 3 but it has been giving me trouble.  I've tried using an external DVD reader, and I've gotten the digital download link from Adobe's support team but the installation stops at about 15% and gives me an installation error.  Is it compatible?  I figured it would be.  PLEASE HELP!

Foltzb1 if the installer is failing to initialize then the resulting error should be contained within your PDApp.log file. You can find details on how to locate and interpret this file at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors which you discover to this discussion.  Please do not post the entire log file however as only the portion which contains errors is relevant.

  • Trying to Export with new codec freezes Quicktime pro 7.6.6

I have just updated Quicktime pro to version 7.6.6 and I am trying to export a .m4v to .mov to bring into FCP. I have done this a thousand times in the past with no problem. Now, however, when I click on File>Export>Options>Settings...the program freezes until I am forced to force quit. I have done this 7 times in a row with the same result. I have version 7.6.4 on my laptop and everything is working just fine. Anyone else having this issue...should I try to revert to my old QT (and how could I)? Any insight would be great. I have a project due soon and would love to convert the necessary files I need to finish! Thanks in advance for any and all help!
