K9N2 plat does not post

I have been having multiple issues with my system and I later determined that it was the power supply. I replaced the PSU and I also got a new case in the process. I installed everything in the new case including the PSU. I turned it on to test the system before I put all the USB stuff and peripherals into the mobo and it works good, everything is normal, but once I hooked all my peripherals like my keyboard, mouse, monitor it completely stopped posting the little LEDs are all red and the speaker does not make a beep. I unhooked it all and the problem still persisted. Then i took out my GPU and tried to turn it on and still and the LEDs are red I took out the mobo out of the case took all but one stick of ram off the mobo and hooked it up to the PSU and still it does not post,  and the LEDs are still red. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem or do i need to get a new mobo all together?

Read the posting guide as Stu says and post your system specs.

    Hi Kiran,
The error message clearly says that "Cost Center validity starts from 01.10.2014" i.e. in the future period.
Change the cost center from period in the past date and try.

  • FSCM 9.0: COBOL Process GLPPPOST does not post Journal Entry correctly

    Folks,
Hello. I am workin on FSCM 9.0 General Ledger module. "Edit Journal" is AE program that works correctly. But "Post Journal" is a COBOL program that does not works correctly.
COBOL process GLPPPOST posts only debit accounts of a Journal entry into table PS_LEDGER but does not post credit accounts of a Journal Entry into table PS_LEDGER. When run the Ledger Report, the report has only column headers and has no data.
Does FSCM 9.0 have a problem or COBOL process does not work correctly ? Can any folks help me ? Thanks.

    Folks,
Hello. Thanks a lot for replying.
I linked my Ledger Group RECORDING with my Business Unit BU01 using "Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > Ledgers For A Unit". Then linked UserID VP1 with BU01 in User Preference. I have checked all information about the 3 concepts (VP1, BU01 and RECORDING) and don't see anything wrong.
I suspect the problem is in the Journal Line page because its Chartfileds belong to 2 SetID (SHARE and FEDRL) and 2 Business Unit (BU01 and BU02).
When define Chartfields value using "Setup FSC > Common Definition > Design Chartfield > Define Value", I see Chartfields "Fund", "Class" and "Program" with SetID "FEDRL", and other Chartfields with SetID "SHARE". The 2 SetIDs are default in the system.
Because one Business Unit (BU01) can link to only one SetID (SHARE), I create one more Business Unit BU02 and linked with SetID "FEDRL". Thus, when create a Journal entry using "General Ledger > Journal > Create Journal ", we type in Business Unit (BU01) and Ledger Group (RECORDING) in Header page, but in Line page, some of Chartfields link with SetID SHARE and BU01, and some of Chartfields link with SetID FEDRL and BU02. The journal entry indicates "Inter/Intra Unit Journal". When select "Edit Journal" and click "Process", the message comes up as follows:
"Ledger Group RECORDING is not valid for Business Unit BU01. Ledger Group defined for this journal is not valid for the Business Unit BU01".
My question is: That the Chartfields in Journal Line page link with 2 SetIDs and 2 Business Units causes the above error ? Can any folks help ? Thanks.

  • HP MS218 Not Booting - Does not POST - Cannot reach BIOS

    Hello,
I have an MS218 (product number: BR372AA #ABA) that I have been having issues with. It used to work fine (ran on WinXP), but currently will not even boot properly at all. No software or hardware changes were made to cause this problem to begin occurring, it simply just started happening one day when I went to turn the computer back on. The issue that I am currently experiencing is as follows:
    - Power stays on, but nothing is ever displayed on the screen
    - Does not post, cannot reach BIOS
    - Acts almost as if it is resetting itself constantly, the fan in the back will start to spin for a second or two, then stop, then start again, and repeat indefinitely until I unplug the power adapter.
I initially figured it was a hardware issue, likely the motherboard, and began to troubleshoot the problem. As I removed non-vital components, the problem would persist. For instance, it happens regardless of external things (keyboard, mouse, etc.) being plugged in, or regardless of the hard drive or optical drive being plugged in. It still appears to happen in the absense of memory, however, I will instead hear beep codes (likely telling me that I don't have any RAM in). Ultimately, I decided to order a replacement motherboard, which recently arrived. Upon replacing the motherboard, the exact same problems happen, which leads me to believe that the motherboard was somehow not the culprit. I have also tried multiple power adapters to no avail, as well as resetting the CMOS battery without any luck. I'm really at a loss for what to do from here, and am currently sitting on hold with HP tech support.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

    Hello Jaycera,
There are two more components that we haven't replaced or look at and I would approach them in the order listed.
    1. Power supply
    2. Processor
It sounds like it's a power issue the computer is getting enough power to start booting up and then losing it. Thus anytime I hear a power issue the first thing I think of is a power supply issue.
The other thing is it could be the processor. The computer starts booting, makes a call to the processor, fails, boots down, starts booting up, makes a call to the processor and here we are in a vicious cycle.
It could just be the processor needing reseated. Take it out, put it back in and make sure it's in properly and no pins are bent, or the processor could be bad.

  • Deactivate a depreciation area (Real area but does not post)

    Hi Guys
I want to deactivate a depreciation area.
It is a real depreciation area but area does not post in GL.
Is there any risk in deactivating the depreciation area in the asset class ? We do not want to use this area any more '
    Thanks

    Thanks Anil
    But my question is
Should I only have  to deactivate the depreciation area in the asset class OAYZ ? In this case new asset won´t see this depreciation area , but old asset still show this depreciation area in AS03. It seems no issue with this approach.
Someone has suggested me also to deactivate it in OABN (but this depreciation area did not post) If I untick ordinary depreciation field  in OABN when I go to the asset I have an error message:
"You cannot manage ordinary depreciation in area 60
    Message no. AA656
    Diagnosis
According to Customizing settings, ordinary depreciation cannot be managed in area 60. The posting being processed changes ordinary depreciation.
    Procedure
Check the amount entered and the transaction type."
So, what is the safety procedure just go to OAYZ (I think this is the right way) and unclick the field "deact" ?
    "Indicator: Depreciation area is deactivated
Set this indicator if you want the depreciation area to be inactive in this asset class or asset (although it is defined in the chart of depreciation)."
    Any other suggestion ?
    Regards

No. Tried all that. Server finally says they don't understand what's happening so better if I just delete accounts and set them up again from scratch. Haven't done that yet in hopes someone in the Apple world will have found a solution.

  • System does not post after Bios Flash

After using Live Update to flash my Bios to the new version, the computer does not POST. The Bios Flash was successful - it rebooted and started normally. When I tried to restart it the normal way, it will not boot. The fans run when the "power on" button is pressed but nothing more. I cleared the CMOS using the jumpers but the problem was not solved. Can any one help?
Can some good Samaritan give me a step by step method to resolve this problem?

I followed the link you provided and managed to resolved it:
    1) Removed one memory stick and floppy;
    2) Cleared CMOS and rebooted successfully;
    3) Inserted floppy and reverted to the previous BIOS;
    4) Inserted the other memory stick and brought system back to full power again.
Thank you very much for your assistance. I am sure MSI is aware of the problem and will take steps to rectify it ASAP

  • FSCM 9.0: COBOL program does not post a Journal into Ledger correctly

    Folks,
Hello. I am working on FSCM 9.0 General Ledger module. To FSCM 9.0, we need to compile COBOL by ourself.
I downlaod and install "MS Visual Studio 2005 professional" and "Micro Focus Net Express 5.0". Then compile COBOL successfully. The executable files are copied to PS_HOME\CBLBINU.
Editing Journal is working correctly as follows:
General Ledger > Journal > Creare/Update Journal -> Add -> Line -> Edit Journal ->Process, Total amount comes up correctly and Journal status becomes "V". All debit accounts and Credit accounts are posted into Database PS_JRNL_LN table correctly.
But posting Journal is not working correctly as follows:
In Journal Line page, after select Post Journal -> Process, Journal status becomes "P". But when check Database table PS_Ledger using select * from PS_LEDGER, only Debit accounts of a journal are posted into PS_LEDGER table, all Credit accounts of a journal are not posted into PS_LEDGER.
Because posting a journal into PS_LEDGER table only debit accounts and no credit accounts, all general reports, such as Trial balance, cannot be generated.
    Thus, my questions are:
First, does COBOL program GLPPPOST.exe have a problem ? If yes, how to solve it ?
Second, do I set up something incorrectly in General Ledger module and cause only Debit accounts of a journal are posted into PS_LEDGER table and not Credit accounts ?
    Thanks.

    Folks,
Hello. The question is solved by myself. Thanks.

  • Is it possible to use a tax code in FB60 but which does not post any tax?

    Hello Gurus,
Can you advise if it is possible to configure a tax code which can be selected in FB60. But we want this tax code not to post any tax value in SAP but simply to be allowed to be selected and populated in the doucment. In FTXP a tax code can be setup that does not need to have a tax rate % maintained against it or be linked to a GL account. However, this tax code cannot then be used in FB60 as the system asks that a rate is maintained and then that an account must be maintained.
Can you advise if it is possible to maintain a tax code in such a way that it can be selected in FB60 but does not result in any tax posting to any tax account? We want it so that no value is posted, so even a 0% rate would not be good.
Thanks for any ideas on this.
    Mart

If you set up 0% tax code, system will NOT post any entry to GL account. You can use the tax code in FB60 & MIRO & PO too.
    thanx

  • BAPI_0036_CREATE does not post budget to Funds Management

    Hi,
We are using BAPI_0036_CREATE to create budget for a grant and posting to FM. It is creating a document in GM in  'unreleased' status, but not posting to Funds Management.
We are passing FM data in the function module, but for some reason its not posting to FM. The Grant doc type is 'Unreleased' and is in Award phase.
Does anyone know how to create budget document in released status and posting to FM.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rob,
This budget is related to Grants. First we are creating budget for Grant, and then release it to FM, where the budget will be created in FM. The release part is not working.. hence it is not creating budget in FM.
    Thanks.

  • I Cal does not post date chosen by point and click of the mouse.

My ICAL mini calendar on the left is not posting the date that I click using my mouse. For example, if I click on June 27, 2008 on the mini calendar on the lower left corner, my large full day event calendar will post June 26, 2008. Tried doing a reset of all sync and calendar data from DOTMAC but it will still do that. What else anyone thinks I can do.

  • VCore over 1.550 + 10% does not post to end; Winchester and Corecenter voltage issues

I can't get vcore more than 1.64 using my winchester. It does not help to use for example 1.500 + 15% either. I've tried 1.36b and 1.41mod bioses. With corecenter I can use vcore up to 1.800 just fine. Temperature of the water or of the case has no effect.
Now I''m stuck with 1.65 (changes btw 1.63-1.65 in bios and Speedfan) when I use 1.550+10% (which should be 1.7 but it isn't).
Is there some other program with which I could change vcore in windows except Corecenter? I could up fsb and vcore automatically during xp login. Corecenter is also a funny program as it ups the voltage upside down :D.. When I put + it lowers vcore and when - it ups it. So 0% gives 1.80 measured with Speed fan and it is quite stable.
Perhaps a bios update will fix this or is there any other solution? I know that Winchesters only can get 1.7 from this board (but it isn't even that but ~1.64) but a program like Clockgen (which does not work with voltage on this board) would correct all problems.

Man... I didn't realize a Winchester could take that much power!

  • PC does not POST

My PC is speced as follows:
    MSI Neo-6758 i875P motherboard
    P4 3.0C Ghz 800Mhz FSB
2x512MB Corsair TwinX 3200 DDR RAM
    550W Enermax power supply
    Saphire Radeon 9800 128MB
    Creative Audigy 2
    3Com 3C905C-TX NIC
    MSI USB addon
    MSI Firewire addon
    73GB Seagate Cheetah SCSI HD
    Pioneer 120s DVD-ROM drive
    52x-24x-52x Lite-On CD/RW
    TEAC Floppy Disc Drive
I recently RMA'd an MSI Neo-6758 board (the i875p 800Mhz FSB model) due to a bad BIOS update.  I received a replacement, but this one will not post either.  I turn on the PC and monitor, there is a sort of PC buzz noise (you know, not a fan breaking or anything, a very PC sort of buzz), then the monitor enters power save mode and nothing more happens.
It is a new board I am told, and it does not appear to be searching for a floppy with BIOS (nor does CTRL-HOME work) so I take the vendors word for this.
I have plugged in the status light add-on, and it is showing all green.  The odd thing is that these lights start all green and remain all green... a proper boot would have them flashing between various states.
It was suggested by my vendor that it may be an issue with either power supply or damaged CPU.  In the case of the former, I doubt it, the board sustains power, all the fans work, etc.  In the case of the CPU, shouldn't the status lights be all red?
What is the most likely cause of the issue?  Bad board?  Bad CPU?  I have contacted MSI support over a week ago and have yet to hear back.

What version is your Corsair RAM? (you'll find it printed on the heatspreader's sticker).  I had the exact same problem with my MSI Neo-FIS2R 875P motherboard.  The system wouldn't post, and the D-Bracket lights were all green.  I tried everything I could think of (clear CMOS, check connections, boot w/out drives/devices, etc...), but nothing worked.  I rma'd the board, but had the same problem with the new one.  After some desperate last minute searching, I found out that MSI only certified version 1.1 of the Corsair 3200DDR RAM, and mine was version 1.2, which is significantly different from the 1.1 model.  I returned the Corsair RAM and picked up 2 x 256mb sticks of OCZ 3200EL (MSI lists it as compatible on their website).  Sure enough, I was able to boot the system up on my first try, and eveything (knock on wood) has been running fine since.
