K9N6SGM-V HELP

Hello All
I have a MSI Motherboard (MS 7309 ver 1.0) (K9N6SGM-V)
Now was Bois ver 1.8 and got giver a Phenom x3 8450 (95w) which wasn't on the list of tested cpus (better than my 5600).
Well downloaded the MSI update program and it showed my Bois had an update 1c, So I let it do it's thing.
No boot now,
BUT
took the battery out so bios would lose all settings and it booted showing Boi checksum error F1 for setup or F2 to default and boot.
F1 sucked as you could set the info but on reboot it wouldn't boot (out comes the battery LOL)
So F2 got me back up and going. Downloaded Bios 1.0 and created a usb bood drive.
Yeah you guessed it, It's back.
Being a male, i then upgraded to bois 1.1
Yeah, i'm on a roll here.
Went to update to 1.2 and said it was done, but back to the no boot
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Bloody males, should have stopped at 1.1.
Thats my Story so far.
Now need help to make it a happy ending PLEASE

just to add i doubt the 95W cpu will work properly as the max of any of the cpu's tested is 89W and nothing higher so it looks like the VRM's and power delivery chokes arn't made for 95W cpu's!

i need help. i know that the vga test results supplied on the support page of k9n6sgm-v were up to GF7950 only. what i want to know if it can support graphic cards like geforce series 8 or 9, or its ati counterpart. ive read other forums that says Gf 8600Gt runs fine. how about 9400 GT super?

Like Mike said, that PSU is unable to power modern systems.
You can just wait until it blows, if you are lucky it will only kill itself....but I have seen entire systems blown to pieces.
Get something decent with 30A @ 12V (single rail) before trying to add any card at all.

K9N6SGM-V No Sound

Hey can anyone help? I have a K9N6SGM-V motherboard and I have installed everything on the cd and used live update but I can't get the sound working, it says there are no audio mixers installed, when I go to device manager it says that there are no drivers installed for the multimedia controller.

Does the K9N6SGM-V (MS-7309) 1.11 BIOS have any added overclocking features?

I have the K9N6SGM-V with the 1.8 BIOS. I am wondering if I update to the 1.11 BIOS that is offered at this URL: http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=bios&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1086 if it will have any added overclocking features. I would really just like to increase the FSB on the X2 Black Edition CPU I currently have installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, and for these kind of mATX Boards, the chance that such options will ever be included is close to zero. They are not really intended for overclocking in the first place.

I have downloaded the board drivers (VGA, Audio) from

I'm running directx 9.0c and whenever I run a movie (Windows media player etc) or Games (Warcraft - TFT), my pc restarts.
My Drivers seems to be latest as I've downloaded another version (After using Live Support provided by motherboard / MSI website. And when I ran the setup it said you already have the latest drivers and the drivers you are about to install are old.
Please help?
Is it the motherboard or something else?
Any help provided will be surely appreciated.

the powersupply im using is normal (from casing) - don't have much info on it..!
what happened yesterday was - I was under the impression that maybe servicepack1 is causing all these problems.
So i installed sp2 which already had directx9.0c - but after that, i confonted the same problem..
I've a great feeling that after downloading/installing the vga drivers from nvidia website is going to fix things up!!
Hopefully it's not a motherboard issue?

K9N6SGM-V Maximum memory?

I just got an MSI K9N6SGM-V ( GeForce MCP61(V/S/P) + nForce 410 Chipset Based )
I was reading the manual and it says there on the memory support:
- DDRII 533/667/800 SDRAM ( 2GB max )
- 2 DDRII DIMMs ( 240pin/ 1.8V )
- Dual Channel
Does this mean I could only install 1GB memory per slot? or 2GB per slot which makes total of 4GB?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't it conflict if in the manufacturers manual it says:
Main Memory
• Supports Dual Channel DDR II 533/667/800

and then you'll make it to 4GB? I do not wan't to be a smart ass I'm just a complete moron on this.
I could still have it replaced from the dealer if it will make conflicton my PC's performance.

hi people. i need some help with this... didnt know why but a friend has a msi K9N6SGM-V and want to use a msi RX1050-TD128E on it. but when he put the VGA the pc do not POST pass, and make BIPs sound. anyone knows what can be happening?... thanks

thanks, and sorry has a sempron 2800, 512mb ddr 2 667 kingston value ram, western digital 80gb sata 2 hard drive and a cheap 450W psu. is very small an basic pc so the psu must be enough
ANYWAY i just was looking on the msi home page and this mainboard does not support x1050 VGA. so i already know why didnt work.
anyway anyone know why does not suppport? something deep and technical? (in the msi page: "note: K9N6SGM-V doesn't support ATI X550, x1050, X700, X800, X850 and X1800XL series graphic cards.")

MSI K9N6SGM-V doesn't recognize ide hard drive

Hi!
I just bought a MSI K9N6SGM-V mainboard which has 2 SATA2 and 1 IDE port. I tried it with a SATA I hard and it worked. But when I've put in an IDE hard it didn't start up. I have an WD80jb hard drive. the error message was the following: didn't find proper boot device blabla.
can somebody help me?

Go to BIOS and adjust HDD Boot priority, (make sata drive 1st).
If problem persist read >>Posting Guide<< 1st
"didn't find proper boot device"
That means drive is not bootable, if you are trying to use WD alone (without other hard storages) you must install an OS there 1st.
See if the drive is detected during BIOS post too. Also take attention to WD jumper settings.

MSI K9N6SGM-V 3 Beep Post

I need help...I just installed a MSI K9N6SGM-V Motherboard. When I start the computer, I get one beep, followed by 3 beeps. I have searched on line and think it may be a memory problem. Anyone know anything about this?? I really appreciate any help I can get!!

K9N6SGM-V Opteron 1224

Hi guys, i have a spare K9N6SGM-V which i want to put to work, it will be doing some heavy work so looking for best cpu it can support, I have read that the am2 quad core opterons are not supported but that some of the dual cores are http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/K9N6SGM-V___K9N6PGM-FI___K9N6PGM-F_(MS-7309).html My supplier has only 1224 chips stocked from the 12xx line, is it safe to order? its not listed as supported or unsupported but the 1212 1214 1216 and 1218 are supported, so should be ok?

Hmm I think i will go for a 5600+ athlon x2, 125watts is probably pushing my luck with that board, the 121x opterons that seem to work are 103watt. (I had originally thought they were about the same)
P.S I had checked the support list first but it did not mention any opterons, and i have seen the slower clocked opterons listed as supported in other places.

That one's from a book. I used that code to start with my applet. Mine calls different merthod from the switch cases. Say I have:

How to split and assign serial number,please hELP.

.after giving serial num i have to change points in table1 to 0.The problem for SUm and split for every 143 is ,different OU and store is there.we have to know for which store points we earned serial number.

help my safari doesn't open and gives me a crash report ever since i downloaded a file from the internet. I have a macbook air (early 2014) with running os x yosemite version 10.10.1

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter is not working. Please Help...

I bought an Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter to connect my Macbook to a TV using normal video cable. When I connect the cable, my Laptop DIsplay gives a flickr once and then it shows nothing. I checked Display in the system preference where I don't get a secondary monitor option. My TV is panasonic and it's an old one. I work on Final Cut Pro and it's very very important to see my videos on a TV. What am I doing wrong with the connection? Anyone Please Please help...

Your probably not doing anything wrong. There are thousands of users with Similar issues and it seems to be with many different adapters.
We have Mini DP to VGA (3 different brands) and they all fail most of the time. This seems more prevalent with LCD Projectors. I've tested some (50+) with VGA Monitor (HP) and they all worked, LCD Projector (Epson, Hitachi, and Sanyo) and they all fail, DLP Projector (Sanyo) and one worked.
My Apple Mini DP to DVi works most of the time. My Mini DP to HDMI (Generic non Apple) works every time.
The general consensus is that Apple broke something in the OS around 10.6.4 or 10.6.5 and its not yet fixed. As we are a school we have logged a case with the EDU Support group so will see what happens.

ive got a 20" intel imac. i bought a mini dvi to video adapter.it said it works with the intel macs.
i maybe being a bit thick here but the end of the dvi seems to be a different size to the port on the mac.
please help....................
