KANBAN for 311 MT with WM Active

Hi Experts,
In one of my requirement, we want to move the stock from yard location to production location using KANBAN board.
This will be a simple 311 movement from inventory management point of view. We have Warehouse Managed storage locations already. While setting up the replenishment strategy for KANBAN using CLASSIC Control Cycle what steps we have to map in the system?

To upload stock please refer below steps.
1.You can write a program or create LSMW to upload stock. In my experience I used program to upload stock in WM. To upload stock I used transaction LT01 in program.For this I have to give input file which will have material,plant, storage type ,bin ,storage unit type, qty etc.When you run this program system will create automatically TO &SU for the material with the given bin.This TO can be automatically confimed in system.
2.To perform your program your whole warehouse structure should be in place.

Why does Firefox close after being opened for too long with no activity?

I need to leave an image loop playing on my computer continuously but the internet browser seems to time out after being opened for more than 14 hours. Is there a way to keep my internet browser opened with out activity for as long as I choose?

This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up.

Easiest and best settings for color correction for GoPro shot with protune active.

Hi,
Is there anyone that has a great preseting that works similar to the protune setting i GoPro studio. The movie gets really colorful and sharp. I'm using a swedish installation of Elements so if possible give me some hint under what meny etc I should change. Maybe its possible to import a presetting?

Welcome to the forum.
First off, you need to go and buy a hardware monitor calibrator, such as an OptixXR or similar. This will build a custom monitor profile for your specific screen. Without this starting point you can forget ANY attempt at accurate colour matching.
Never (and I mean never) use a working space such as sRGB or Adobe98 as your monitor profile, that's not what they are designed for. Working spaces control what colours are possible in the image, monitor profiles control how those colours are shown on screen. Aperture uses it's own working space so you don't have to worry about that too much.
To answer the rest far too briefly, I'd suggest setting the proofing profile to sRGB and of course use sRGB for the export preset. The gamma setting you will have to adjust depending on how dark the Lightjet prints look compared to your screen. You will have to do test-strips to start with.
Your images looking crap on flickr on Windows machines is partly because Windows web browsers generally do NO colour correction, and only partly to do with the different gamma.

Transaction Code for Purchase Order with Network, Activity, and Element

I have been asked for a transaction code that will allow the user to view the Purchase Order, Network, Activity, and Element on the same transaction. I have been able to use CN41 to get them the Purchase Requisition, Network, Activity, and Element, but cannot seem to find one for the Purchase Order.
I feel like this should be easy...
Any ideas?

Kanban for finished goods (discrete manufacturing)

Hi gurus,
I am using kanban for finished goods(with MRP) to triggers production order(discrete manufacturing). If i set the status "empty" system is creating a planned order directly. It is not coming for MRP run. I suppose, that planned order should be created through MRP run(since i am using kanban with MRP). Can you please tell what settings i need to be checked?

Prerequisites
In this process, the storage location assigned to the supply area is not excluded from MRP.
If a material is planned and procured with MRP, you must make the following settings:
You must maintain a valid MRP type for the material. This means, the setting "ND" (No planning) is not allowed.
You must maintain all other control parameters required for MRP for the material.
You must maintain a repetitive manufacturing profile (in the MRP data screen) for replenishment strategies with a cost collector (in-house production with run schedule quantities, manual KANBAN). In the SAP standard system, a profile is available that is specially intended for KANBAN, that is, using this profile, the system creates a cost collector without a run schedule header.
Features
Here, the total production quantity or the procurement quantities of a certain period are planned in the planning run and the replenishment elements are also created in the planning run. For in-house production, you can use either Repetitive Manufacturing or production orders to plan the production quantities per period. For external procurement, all the standard replenishment elements are available. The replenishment elements created in the planning run, however, are not intended to trigger production or replenishment directly. Instead, they exist to provide the supply source with a preview. Actual production and material flow are controlled and triggered by setting the kanban to FULL and EMPTY. Backflushes and goods receipts are posted with no reference to the kanban. This means that you can backflush daily quantities, for example.
In this procedure, the following is valid for materials with BOMs:
Components that are used in KANBAN materials can be planned using any one of the MRP procedures. However, the system has to be organized so that the supply source does not produce the material for the replenishment element created in MRP immediately but awaits the kanban request.
As the system creates preview data in the procedure with MRP, it is particularly useful for replenishment with run schedule quantities (Repetitive Manufacturing) and scheduling agreement releases.

How to use TAXBRJ with TAXBRA activated at core level for Brazil

Hi Experts,
I am supporting Brazil localization customization in ECC 6.0 for our company. We activated TAXBRA for Brazil. We flagged off CBT for all SD pricing procedure knowing the value of RVABRA. But one process in brazil we presently using in 4.6C with TAXBRJ along with customized pricing procdure make use of formula based calculation.
So we would like to follow the same method in ECC 6.0 also. However the condition based calculation RVABRA does not support this process as this process requires more formula based calculation.
So we need to know is there any chance to use TAXBRJ with customized formula based SD price procedure for our requirement.
I read through document (Condition based calculation in R/3 for Brazil version 3.1) the following steps to do alternate calculation procedure:
"In R/3 Enterprise, an extension to the concept described in section 5.8 has been introduced. In the table J_1BMWSKZKALSM,
alternative calculation procedures can be specified that are to be used for certain tax codes instead of the standard one. This is achieved by reading this table in a BAdI before the call to the pricing procedure and modifying the communication fields that contain the calculation procedure and the tax code.
Thus the user could e.g. use the external tax calculation for some tax codes (by specifying TAXBRJ in the above mentioned table) or use several smaller calculation procedures, e.g. in case of performance problems or new requirements."

View for active Incidents related to WI (Problem) with status (Active) works but can't be changed.

Hi,
I wanted to create a view of Incidents which are linked to a Problem (any problem).
I did a quick test using the Incident (advanced) class, selected to display Incidents with status Active and [Work Item] Is Related To Work Item and status for Problem with the status Active.
At this first test I didn't bother to select any specific columns to display but just went with the pre-selected ( Description, Display Name, Display Name) and it worked.
I got a list of expected Incidents in the view but having the Description column made it quite useless.
So, when I try to select the columns I find useful it will not update and it returns a No items found message instead.

It is of course possible to group by one of the Display Name fields and collapse to get a more workable view but it still lacks a lot of good information. One would like to include ID, title, Created date,
date modified, Display Name for Affected User and Assigned to user, and a few others.
I was just a bit stumped as to why this fails when changing the columns on a view that obviously is possible to create.

Consider using the Advanced View Editor( or
the free edition), since it has much more robust criteria and column editing capabilities.

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

Purchased Mountain Lion, but it is stuck on download with no activity for about half an hour. What next?

Purchased Mountain Lion via App store but it appears to be stuck in download with no activity for over half an hour and no error messages. The download bar shows the download at about 1/20th for about half an hour as well. I had what appeared to be disk corruption. I used OS CD to repair - indicated successful. When I rebooted again the system showed the spinning icon again. I read that I should not install Mountain Lion if my disk still has errors. I'm not sure what my next steps should be?

If you don't have a SIM card in the phone, you must put one in. It's required for activation.
If you do, then your phone was probably hacked to unlock it from the original carrier. Contact them and see if they will unlock it. If they will not do so, then you can't use that phone.

Kanban for SAubcontracting Items

Hi all,
We are using Subcontracting for some of our sub-assemblies,we send the components required for these sub-assemblies to vendor against a PO against the movement 541.and when we receive the sub-assembly from vendor we make GR for sub-assembly(mvmt 101) and components get backflushed from vendor stock(movement 543).Presently all this system is handelled manually.
Now we want to take this process in KANBAN.Can we use Scheduling agreement for subcontracting activity.
Pl. suggest how we can use KANBAN for this activity.

I have tried creating the scheduling agreement. but the problem with sch. agreement is we can not send the components against it unless we trigger the schedle line(BOM doesn't get exploded when we try to do stock transfer[541 mvmt] w.r.t this sch. agreement)
In our case we are sending the components required for making the subassembly in big lots(e.g. for 15 days requirement) and while getting the subassemlies we want to use SAP KANBAN ,so that schedule lines get triggered whenever we trigger the KANBAN and vendor supplies us the subassemblies as per those sch.lines .
