Kansas city Local tax

Hi Experts,
Request for your assistance.
Currently the tax for kansas city, MO (MO01 tax code) is being calculated on 1 % of taxable wages (/701) = /701 X 1%
But the calculation should happen by adding wage type /Q01 too.
i.e /701 + /Q01  X 1%
How can this be done?
Thanks
Karthick.

Thanks G.Lakshmipathi,
If i understood you correctly Condition type UTXJ is attached to my client specific pricing procedure and all i have to do is:
a) maintain the various tax codes for tax procedure taxinj.
b) maintain the access sequence for condition type utxj based on the country/tax class (customer, material etc)
c) maintain the tax classification for the material and the customer.
thanks, will i need to have more than 1 tax category utxj?  if i am seeing more than  utxj (for example i can see jtx1 (for cst form), jtx2 (for lst form) , jtx3 (excise certificate), what does that imply Will they also need to be linked to my pricing procedure then?
Thanks again!

I think it varies. In the UK and France, for example, where I have purchased from the online store the prices included relevant taxes. I believe that in the USofA and perhaps some other countries that the price shown is net of tax because the tax rate varies from state to state.
You can always go through the process of preparing an order at the Mac Online Store for your country and it should show the price together with any taxes. You don't, of course, actually have to place the order .
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about the USA online store.
Correct Paul - in the USA, each State sets its own sales tax, so the tax is only calculated during checkout once you've entered shipping/billing information.  Even within some states, some cities have their own sales tax rate (eg. New York State is 4% but New York City is 8.875%).

Just seen this Wildman an i might have seen this back in Nov. but can't remember i would like to see LTE here in our small Community it would be really nice. And those speeds look really Good.. On my X pulling from Fort Hays State it Pinged 59ms 12.34Mbps an uploaded at 3.24Mbps An when i Tested from Independence it Pinked 70ms 11.20Mbps an Uploaded 3.36Mbps. Now for my Incredible Using Wi-Fi an using The Independence Server it Pinged 75ms DL 10.12Mbps an UL at 7.44 An when i tested it with the Fort Hays Server it Pinged at 52ms an DL at 13.76Mbps an UL at 8.43 Mbps. Just for oops an grins i tested with one more server an the one that a Cox Service Teck Suggested it was the one in Lawrence Ks. My Inc. Now for the P.c. it Pinged the Independence server at 58ms an DL at 27.21Mbps but it could only muster a 4.29 UL-Speed My Droids spanked it in that Area for sure.

  • What do I do to fix my iPod location.  I live in Dallas, TX and my location is currently putting me in Kansas City, MO

For examplt, I go into the google maps app and initiate the location search.  Even though I live in Dallas, TX 75211and I am at my home address, the maps app puts my location in at and address on E 57th Terrace  in Kansas City, MO 64133.  I've tried restoring my iPod, reset the wifi, reset the location and still get put in MO.  I even found something about a company called Skyhook and have submitted 3 different MAC addresses in an attempt to repair this problem.  I wonder why Apple seems to make it so difficult to find the correct resolution to this issue.  Can anyone help me?

Apple's database uses the MAC address of the router. The MAC address is unique to the hardware were as an IP address is not.
    Not necessairly.
For example, if you are using DSL or ADSL, chances are your privider assigned you with a static IP address to use for your router, so in this case a specific IP address can be used to identify a specific piece of hardware.
With that being said, the actual physical location of a wireless router depends entirely on where someone put it, and the data base location information may or may not be accurate.  This is why my iPhone shows up within the walls of my house and my iPod shows up about 500 feet away....
The point is moot because when trying to locate an iPod via its internet access point location, that location information is based on data derived from human sources.  For example, how much distance is there between 200 Booger Lane and 210 Booger Lane?  Cell triangulation will always be more accurate...
With that all being said, I just had an idea.  What happens when you use Find My Phone to locate your iPod?
Maybe the problem is with Google....

  • Retro Local Tax Type 84

Does anyone know, if the new tax type 84 works correctly for retro? We are having some issues, with the tax not going back and not retroactively working. For example, we have the PAAH tax code $2.00 per pay and employee's have missed 2 pays and it only is deducting $2 for the current pay...
I am not sure, if this is a config issue or some other issue. We were told by BSI to map the new tax type 84 in BSI, but is there anything else that needs done in BSI.
We looked at all the retro tables in SAP to make sure the /484 wage type was configured.

    Hello,
You are getting the error because PA localities ALLENTOWN no longer support the PA TT:51 tax formula as of 1/1/2008.

    PA11     Allentown     84     Local Services Tax     01/01/2008     12/31/9999

  • Customer Master City Format / Tax Jurisdiction

While creating a new customer, the tax jurisdiction is determined by the city. However is there a setting that allows the users to make the city different in spelling or when there are multiple cities associated?
    Examples:
Westampton, New Jersey 08060 not acceptable in system...User must enter Mount Holly, NJ 08060
Tinker Air Force Base (Tinker AFB) Oklahoma 73145 not acceptable, user must use Oklahoma City
St. Joseph De Sorel, Quebec J3R 3M8 Canada is not acceptable... Must use SAINT-JOSEPH-DE-SOREL, Quebec J3R 3M8 Canada

I do not see any chance to change this, except you make changes in the database yourself or you talk to your data provider and ask him to add it, maybe he can then explain why it is not in the database like you expect or like it is shown on a vendor or customer document.
I know such cases very much since I am in charge of loading master data.
We have an external provider for the tax , and it is just a function call that submits country, zip-code, city  and region to determine the jurisdiction code. So it is in general nothing else than a automatic lookup for a matching entry.

  • Richmond City UUT tax

I live in Oakland, CA - why am I being charged $4.09 for something called Richmond City UUT? Couldn't find anything on it in the normal support searches. I'm hoping someone can help answer this for me here.

Hi there, jbailey82! It's clear that you should expect to be billed accurately. As a former Bay Area resident, I know that Richmond and Oakland aren't that far from each other. It's possible that your zip code may call for a tax line item for the Richmond City UUT. One way to be sure of that is to to share your zip code. That way, I can check on whether that tax item is appropriate for you.
My friend Ann154 asks an excellent question about residency. If you had been a Richmond resident before, it's possible that you point of use address (the location we use to determine tax rates) has not yet been updated. If you had been a Richmond resident, we'll need to update your address. This can be done at My Verizon (http://bit.ly/xB4iTc ) or through customer service. Let me know what works best for you!

  • No tax withholding

    Hi Guys
My client has sales employees in KY.
    1.      The Employee lives under zip code 41011
    2.      Work Tax area : KY0F u2013Kenton ( County)
    3.      Residence Tax Area : KY2Y u2013 Park Hills (city)
    4.      When I run payroll of this employee, only Kenton County withholds tax, but Park Hills does not
As per the rule: Park Hills must withhold 1% tax. Kenton should withhold 0.7097% on wages up to $25,000 and then change to 0.1097% for any wages over that.
Park Hills is in the county of Kenton and since they live and work from these addresses, both taxes need to be withheld; a local tax for the residence and a county tax for the work in. But as I said, only the work tax for Kenton is withheld and system does not withhold any tax for Park Hills.
The BSI Support Team says that it's an SAP thing and not BSI issue. They suggest that if I somehow allocate 100% in IT0207 ( Residence Tax Area) Just like we have 100% allocation in the IT0208( Work Tax Area) , it would work and their many other clients have this setting where clients can allocate %age worked in the Residence Tax infotype.
I am not sure if this is doable.
    Can anyone please suggest.
    thanks
    W

Please refer to Payroll US for documentation on Tax processing. It explain very clearly how Federal, State and Local taxes are being processed in SAP.

  • Need an experienced coder to write iPhone app locally-KC

I am looking for an experienced coder to write an iPhone app. here in K.C. MO. I am starting to think that they don't exist. Extremely hard to find. Are most of you developers in business for yourself or working for a company? Just wondering. And you KC peeps-post back and we'll talk.

I really have mixed feelings about your post here.
On one hand, I think it violates the spirit, if not the letter, of the Apple Discussions Terms of Use. I thought about reporting it, but didn't. Then I thought about posting a clarification question on the Feedback forum, but didn't.
It is definitely a grey area. There are lots of new iPhone programmers here and they may need work. If people start posting job ads here that means that people are noticing and are coming to Apple to recruit programmers. Programmers coming here looking for a job ad might also contribute questions and/or answers.
How come Apple's most frivolous device is also the most profitable and the only one to ever get any corporate attention and respect? But I digress.
I do not think this is good venue for finding a programmer in Kansas City. I know of at least 2 large universities in the area with any number of computer science students who would be thrilled to get some iPhone experience. Get in contact with the career development offices of those universities. If you want someone experienced, they are more likely to be older and more likely to read the local paper. <hint, hint> If you want an experienced iPhone programmer, that will be easier still. Put an ad in SF, BOS, NYC, or Denver Craigslist and offer $250K and a free house. You think I'm joking
Oh, and by the way, sometimes I troll SF, BOS, NYC, and Denver Craigslist and flag any non-local jobs as "miscategoried"

  • Local HD stations changing from 200's to 800's

Is there a way to ask Comcast to cluster the local HD stations (NBC, ABC, CBS & FOX) together in the 800's?  They were always together in the 200's (231, 232, 233, 234), but they just notified us (Kansas City) that they are removing those channels and now we'll see them in the 800's (803, 808, 813) and CBS will still be 233.  So instead of having them all on the same "page," we'll have to page up and down or enter the numbers to see what's on next.  Does Comcast ever change channel numbers to accomodate ease of use?

Thanks Andrew!  It never hurts to ask.  I'm also wondering why 234 isn't changing to 805.  So we'll need to watch FOX on 234, but all the others are changing to the 800's?  I wish they'd deleted the "duplicate" channels that were listed in the 800's, since all of the local channels (including FOXSports) are in the 200's already.  I know I'm not Taylor Swift (she gets things changed nationally with one tweet), but hopefully they'll think about it.  Thanks again.
