Kb11n to post in  currency other than co currency.

Hi All,
For our client they have created  a program which uses the transaction KB11N,but to post the transaction in GBP currency which is different from controlling area currency. This program was working fine till March2008 but suddenly in  April 2008 the program posted transaction in EUR currency instead of GBP Currency. What could be the reason. Is there any settings anywhere it is defined. What could be the reason behind posting in GBP.
Very urgent!!!
Thanx in advance.

  • Report showing GL Accounts with  document posted in currency other than local currency

We need a report that shows all the GL Accounts that had a document posted in currency other than local currency during the month. The purpose of such a report is that we should not miss any Foreign Currency Gain or Loss at the end of the month.
Is there such a report already in Standard SAP ? Please let me know. Points guaranteed.

    Hi Ajay sir,
It's never be a bad idea. But I think Rajeev might be looking for a stright report than work around, which is not available.

  • We are evaluating the use of iPod touch devices to record best practice videos on our manufacturing floor and to post to an internal Moodle web site. How can you upload a video from the iPod touch to a site other than YouTube?

We are evaluating the use of iPod touch devices to record best practice videos on our manufacturing floor and to post to an internal Moodle web site. How can you upload a video from the iPod touch to a site other than YouTube? The Moodle upload interface is expecting a file selection dialog box like windows or OSX. I do not want to have to go through an intermediary step of messing with a pc.
    Thanks!

It should be around 7 and a half gigs. In iTunes, across the bottom there should be a bar that show how much storage is being used and by what. (music, movies, apps, etc.) To make music take up less room, you can check the box to make it convert the music to 128kbps AAC. This lowers the quality, but with most earbuds and speakers, you can't even tell the difference.
The iPod touch has parental controls built in. You'll find them in Settings. I think they only work for enabling/disabling Safari, Mail, YouTube, and App Store. Here's an app that does more: http://www.mobicip.com/online_safety/ipod_touch

  • Payment in other than functional currency and bank currency

    Hi
I am working in a implementation project, i am facing one issue related to multiple currency transaction.
client is maintaining one bank account(USD) in other than functional currency(INR), that account they are using for making a payment in USD or other than USD(third) currency, so in case of payment held in third currency, conversion will happen between USD to third currency, hence there is no functional currency is coming in conversion and at bank account level multiple currency check box can not be enabled due to bank account currency is other than functional currency.
Could you please help me out on this issue.

    Hi Kiran
    Thanks for your reply
I am required Little more help on this, please find the bellow example
    Example
    Ledger/functional Currency is INR
    bank currency is USD
Currency conversion rate has been defined for the currency
invoice is created in GBP, payment need to be make in GBP currency from USD account, because USD$ use for the GBD conversion, now my concern is bank is in USD currency that is other than functional currency, hence multi currency check box can not be enabled, since functional currency is INR so all transaction should be convert to INR for accounting and as multiple currency not allowed at bank therefore enable to make payment from same bank.
    Thanks

  • LC other than national currency

    Hi All,
I have a customer who's national currency is SGD,but the according to the IRAS(Inland revenue authority of singaopre),
if 60% of the customer's transactions are other than the local currency(national currency) then the Local currency should be set as that Foreign currency(USD).
So i have proposed the customer to set LC as SGD and SC as USD.
Here GST reporting should be done in SGD.
So when there is a supplier invoice in USD the supplier will send the equivalent SGD for GST purpose.
But in SAP if we consider LC as USD and the corresponding SGD can be recorded only on the exchange rate table, where as the SGD rate will be varying according to the individual supplier invoice.
Is there any workaround available to record the SGD equivalent value in order to generate the GST report accordingly even the document currency is same as the local currency(USD is considered as LC)
Note:Customer is aware that if they maintain LC as USD they will not be able to revaluate USD curreny.
Kindly share you precious inputs on the above scenario
    Regards,
    Raja

    Hi Gordan,
Now USD as configured as LC and SGD as SC.
When there are AP Invoices the exchange rate given by the supplier will vary ie.,AP invoice will be in USD and the exchange rate for SGD will also be provided for GST purpose.
But for USD the equivalent SGD will be taken from the exchange rate table, which we can not change as per the individual document for corresponding GST tax calculation in SGD.
Now as per your suggestion if it has to be manually adjusted then the Tax report also need to be customized accordingly if i am correct.
    Regards,
    Raja

  • Converting from a currency other than LC

    Hello,
We have a customer application where we store not only amount in LC but also the amount in Invoice Currency ("IC").  For example, we invoice customers in a currency other than our company code's local currencies.  We have a requirement to convert actuals into USD and EUR by taking IC not LC.  I have created a new category for this ACTBUD and have gotten it working for LC.  I want to get it to work starting IC as the base currency.  All the documentation I have read says that BPC uses LC as the default for currency translation.
Does anyone know if this can be changed?
    Thanks,
    Mark

Here you go...we have four different reporting currencies:
IC = invoice currency or document currency.
    LC = Local Currrency
USD = USD or Group Currency
EUR = Our EU users have requested that we also track Euros translated at budgetd rates.
The below code translates LC, USD and EUR from IC for all categories but Actual.  Our actuals we get directly from our SAP system.  We created a new category called ActBud and then translate the other reporting currencies from IC.  It works pretty well.
// FX Translation for any data in the Customer application
// Added following line for performance
    *PROCESS_EACH_MEMBER=TIME
*SELECT (%FX_RATES%, "[ID]", "RATE", "[GROUP] = 'FX RATE'")
// Block 1 - Clear out any previously calculated USD and EUR values, for all categories but Actual.
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET DATASRC=COMPANY

  • The document contains no posting lines with value other than zero

    Hi!
We are having problems posting a invoice in MIRO. When entering the PO number we receive the error message "The document contains no posting lines with value other than zero".
    What could be the problem?
    /Anders

    Hi!
The GR_BASEDIV is set in the PO. The PO is replicated from SRM where this flag has been set for no reason. Only GR and IV are set and we have implemented a note 1155266 so that Confirmation-Related IV will not be set.
How come it is set anyway?
    Sincerely
    Anders

  • Easy Cost Planning in a currency other than Cont Area and comp code curren

    Hi,
I want to do the easy cost planning in a currency which is other than controlling area and company code currency.
But I am getting the option of only these two currencies only.
Any idea how to do it?
    Example:
      Controlling Area currency :INR
    Company Code Currency : AED
Planning Currency to be used for Easy Cost Planning :USD
    Regards,
    B P Singh

    Hello,
You may try to go to transaction CT04 - Characteristics. There in tab BASIC DATA you choose Data Type - Currency Format. In field Currency enter the required currency. Save the characteristic.
Next step is to go to CKCM - Models for Easy Cost Planning. Open the Costing model and add line with the created characteristic.
    Good luck, Aleksandra

  • Changing Currency Symbol from the Menu bar to other than €

I use the Costa Rican colon symbol ¢ (in front of number) as a routine value, as well as the U.S. dollar symbol and it seems cumbersome to select the "Inspector" to make these alternate currency symbols (or any alternate to € symbol). Speaking of the Costa Rican colon, it is represented incorrectly anyway and I don't know how to change the symbol.
Also, in the pop-up menu of the "Inspector -- currency" all currency symbols show as € and only when a cell is clicked after selecting a currency symbol, does it appear in the cell (not correct, but at least something other than €.
This is my first hour of "playing with" Numbers. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

There are many variations to the symbols used for currency worldwide, please, if yours is wrong let Apple know. The feedback option is under Numbers on the menu bar. This is a user to user forum provided by Apple, not run by them.
My symbol on the menu bar is $, which is correct and rather common worldwide, maybe a generic currency symbol is used for smaller areas of the world. I know I have the Australian flag rather than a New Zealand one on my menu bar for the international settings. We are obviously too small to have our own
You can show all currency options in the inspector by changing the Numbers preferences. A quick way of selecting the correct currency in the inspector is to open the list and type the first few letters.
I'd expect your default would be the same as you have set in the System Preferences > International.
You could also make a couple of templates for yourself in both currencies and use them instead.
Numbers is a neat piece of software, keep playing with it and you may well get to like it.

  • Ping cannot post a profile name other than iTunes account name

Ping won't allow a name change to a profile name unless you change the name associated with your iTunes account. If you change it to something like "MusicLover !" (it requires a first and last name, hence the !)' this changes your account info for Mr. MusicLover !
It should allow an alias of some sort other than the credit card name. For example, some kid that wants a profile, but uses his mom's credit card for the account because he doesn't have one, etc.

I find this very confusing. When you "Turn On Ping" it says:
"The name you enter is also the name associated with your account's billing information. Any previous reviews that you have written with a nickname will now display the name you list here instead of that nickname. To remove any reviews you have written from the iTunes Store, go to your account and click Manage Reviews."
    Huh?
It gives you the option to change values in the Name: and Last Name: fields. So if you change first name to "Mr." and last name to "MusicLover", then what would happen to your store account?
If you were previously using "blahblah" as your review nickname, and did that, would it change all your reviews to "Mr. MusicLover"?
This needs a good deal of clarification.
