Sorry for misunderstanding this issue. This GPP for folder option could apply to new users sucessfully, however, could not apply to old users sucessfully. Right?
Firstly, please check if the GPO has applied to old users. You can also run the following command on the problematic workstation when an old user logs on:
Gpresult /h > C:\temp\gpresult.html (“C:\temp\” is the path of the gpresult.html, you can set it yourself). This gpresult.html file is used for checking the result of Group Policy information.
If the GPO setting has been applied according to the result of Gpresult, please check if the value of corresponding registry key has been modified. The corresnponding registry key is shown as following:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced: ShowInfoTip
If the value is 1, this means the value has been modified. Vice versa.

Why can I no longer print from my Windows XP computers to my Bonjour connected Canon printer thru an Airport Extreme Base Station (f/w 7.6.4, model A1301)?

Something has changed recently and I haven't figured it out. My 2 Windows XP computers are no longer able to print via Bonjour. I have tried removing and reinstalling Bonjour. Upgrading the firmware on the AIrport Extreme Base Station and comparing Port settings from an able to print Windows Vista laptop. Port settings match and Bonjour says it sees the printer...but the communication is not happening between the computer and the networked printer, it times out and produces an error in the print que. Both XP computers have no problem using the internet via the Base Station. One is wired and one is wireless. Thoughts?

I suspect some kind of update is at fault. Like you, my printer/base station setup had been working fine until recently.

Using apple base station now, but the other 3 windows based computers couldn't find the printer connected to apple base station

When I am trying to add a new printer on my iMac, the search result will show:
HP Photosmart C6200 series
and there is no problem to add this printer to the iMac.
But when I am trying to add a new printer on my other windows based computers, the search result will show nothing. So I shared the printer on my iMac, and the search result will show:
HP Photosmart C6200 series @ XXXXX's iMac
and there is no problem to add this shared iMac printer to the windows based computers.
I just don't understand. Can anyone explain this to me?

You and at least one other that I know of locally. All this happened after the latest Airport update.
Interestingly, last week, three of us who use Mac laptops were unceremoniously dumped from our small office network's wireless router (non-Apple). When we tried to reconnect it kept asking for a password - none of the PC users are having this problem - and I HATE that!! Before this we all connected immediately with no problems.
I'm still running my home-based Airport Extreme Base Station and Airport Express on a non-passworded network - the only way we can get online, still.
Hope Apple wakes up and realizes there are a few problems with this release.

HT1926 I have 2 Windows 7 computers that handled iTunes easily until I tried to update to the newest version today. Now I have the same computers that don't have working iTunes on them.

I got up this morning to be greeted with an invitation to update iTunes on my Windows 7 computers. Unfortunately I did both at once. They have both refused to take the update, after deleting the old version, despite hours of work deleting the old files and downloading fresh new files. I got some message about a missing MSVCR80.dll but couldn't figure out how to fix it. Then I got a message about an Apple driver TCP/IP driver that I also cannot find out how to fix despite hours of work.
Unless I can find a fix, my iphone, iPad, my wife's iPad mini and my apple TV will be nearly uselss shortly. I need to find a way to get the update to load and work on Windows 7.
Anyone else having the problem? Any fixes?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Profilemanager for windows based computers and android devices

Is there anyway to set up windows based computers or android devices in profile manager? I assume not so is there another way to do this?

No ProfileManager is for Apple devices only. If you want to cover Windows or Android instead of or as well as Apple devices then you need to look at an alternative like MobileIron.

Windows 2008 R2 group policy not applied to windows 8 Workstations, but applied to XP and Win 7

Thanks for posting in the forum.
Before going further, would you please let me know how did you configure the Group Policy setting to deploy the wallpaper? Have you configured some settings to limit the scope the GPO applying?
If all Windows 8 machines failed to receive the GPO settings? In order to narrow down the cause of the issue, I suggest we could try to collect the following information for troubleshooting.

a. On domain controller, click Start ->Run, type GPMC.MSC, it will load the GPMC console.
b. Right click on "Group Policy Result" and choose wizard to generate a report for the problematic computer and user account (please place appropriately). (Choose computer and select the proper
user in the wizard)
c. Right click
the resulting group policy result and click the "Save Report…" => save report to save the report to a HTML file.
Once we get the report, please check if the settings have been applied to the target correctly.
In addition, would you please let me know whether you have imported the latest Windows 8 Administrative Templates to the Windows Server 2008 DC? If not, please try to download and import it.
Then try to configure the wallpaper GPO settings again to see if it could help.

Installing from Application Catalogue fails on Windows 7 computers

All,
Has anyone else experienced this issue with installing apps from the application catalog. The applications do not install won Windows 7 computers and UAC prompts for admin credentials. The same apps work fine on XP computers.
I tried using a silent switch and get the following error "The software change returned error code 0x643(1603)." Again, with XP computers there are no issues.
The command line I used was msiexec /i "application.msi" /qb and msiexec /i "application.msi" /q. I have used the default options when setting up the app in SCCM. The application catalogue has been added to the trusted sites and the install permissions
is set to All Users in the Computer Agent policy.
I have also allowed users to define their primary device in the User Settings.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to manually install the same application with same command line on Windows 7 machine ( I know, you've already tried this but NOT sure using same command line and same user or nor?)

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. Hello is applying Windows updates within 2 node SQL Server 2008 cluster (active-passive) as simple as download/install the windows update on the passive node, then failover, then apply on other node, and then fail back over ?...or are there other needed/recommended

Applied Transactions window for A/R invoices as a query

When I right-click on an A/R invoice and open the Applied Transactions window, I see all transactions that hit that invoice.
I need to create a query that displays the contents of that window, but only for a given date. Has anyone written something like this?

I have a similar requirement. Currently I am querying several tables to get a result like 'applied transactions'..
OINV and INV1 for position details and linking to credit memos.
ORCT and RCT2 for incoming payments.
ORIN for credit memos.
This is really complicated and one serious problem occurs: I don't get incoming payments with 'payment on account', since they have no entry in RCT2.
I have tried to get payments on account with OITR and ITR1, but the specific reconciliation does only show the DocNum of the incoming payment (payment on account), not any link to the reconciled invoice.
Do I miss something or is there a smoother way to query applied transactions?

With Lion I can´t send pictures to windows (XP) computers via Mail. They receive only some kind of bmp´s. I´m doing the same like with Snow Leopard... !

I sent yesterday some pictures via Mail to the newspaper I´m working for. They have Windows XP computers. All they got where some bmp´s and it was really difficult to open those, change them to jpg´s and work with them. This is new after I´ve installed Lion. Before that, it was no problem.
Anyone any idea what I did wrong or is this a new probleme of the MacOS?

Sorry if this topic repeats another. My AEX is working wirelessly through my Netgear WGR614v6 router. My AEX is connected to my HP Office Jet 6110 all in one printer. My i BOOK works great (love my ibook). However, I am unable to set up either of my Windows XP computers (Windows *****) using the directions supplied by Apple.
Do you think the Netgear router needs to be eliminated. (I don't want to becuase I run a print server for my HP LaserJet off of it). Do you think it might be because my Office Jet is an all in one? Any ideas would be helpful.
