[KDE 4.2][Konqueror]Missing 'allow sites set fonts' option.

I'm pretty sure, konqueror could disable custom fonts on websites, so that all sited were displayed with the same font. But I cannot find this feature in kde4.2's konq.
Was this option removed, or am I completely mistaken?

Ive resolved vertical refresh and resolution issues by declaring VideoRam value in fglrx section of my xorg.conf.

Why content and structure menu missing in site setting in sharepoint

Hi We have more than 300 site collection in our portal.
some of the sitecollection we can able to see the "content and structure" link in the settings page.
but some of the sitecollection we can't able to see the "content and structure" link.
all site collections templates are "DocumentCenter" template and all the sitecollection and sites are created by using powershell scripts.
We are not activate the "Publishing feature" for all site collection.
We are activated only "FollowingContent and Workflows"
features .
Can you share your idea , why it is not displaying?
is there any other why to display the link with out activation the "publishing feature".

The content and structure link will only show up if Publishing is activated. You must activate publishing Infrastructure at the site collection level and Publishing in the root site to see the Content and Structure link.

Configue Allowed Sites using Microsoft SCCM?

I need to automatically add sites to the "Allowed Sites" list in (Options > Security > Exceptions) using Microsoft SCCM. I successfully manged to do this on IE and Chrome, but I am having hard time with FireFox. I maintain over 1000 machines, so it won't be practical to add these sites manually in each machine, this is why I need to use SCCM.

Since it worked before, what has changed since then?
How many updates did you install after the last synchronization? Especially for update those applied to WSUS server itself.

Internet Explorer Privacy Site Allowed equivalent setting in OS X Safari?

I'm assisting a friend with accessing his online tax payment portal from his bank's website using OS X Safari. Under Windows Internet Explorer a site must be added to 'Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Sites>Allowed Site' before the site will load. If the site is not added, a page cannot be found error will occur. On his Mac, I tried looking for a certificate for the website in Key Chain, but couldn't find one. As suggested in another thread about Internet Explorer Trusted Sites and that setting in OS X Safari, I was going to try and change the certificate settings to see if that would help.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Navigate to the site. There should be a small gray padlock icon top right corner of the Safari window. If not, type in the user name (not the password) for the site then you should see the lock icon.
The certificate should drop down for viewing. Click the purple question mark for help.

"Don't allow sites that set removed cookies to set future cookies"

I'm having a problem shopping and/or logging onto esteelauder.com (a site I have shopped from for years). Their tech folks indicated the problem appears to be with cookies and I should make sure that "Don't allow sites that set removed cookies to set future cookies" is not marked. I cannot find this in FF 3.6.15. I have removed all cookies related to this web site, but the problem still exists. I went to another computer to make sure it was not the web site, and was able to add items to the cart and log on with no problem. I am using a PC with Windows 7. This problem has just shown up in the last couple of weeks and so far only appears to be on this web site.

* You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Missing "Save Site as Template" For Publishing Sites in Project online 2013

First I created Sub site using Project Template under the site collection.
Now I want to this Sub site Save as a Site Template. When I went for Save site as Template in site setting. Under Site Action there is no option for “Save site as Template”

How can i get popup blocker to keep the allowed sites that i add?

Here where I work, we have a site that opens in a popup window. I have added it to the popup exceptions list, but after a day or so, that site disappears from that allowed site list. Not sure what keeps going on. It's been doing this for a while, even on previous versions. The browser is on the most current version, 33.0, just FYI.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you find a pattern to the disappearance? For example:
# Every time you exit Firefox it is cleared?
# Every time to shut down and restart Windows it is cleared?
# It is cleared on a schedule?
For #1, make sure Firefox is not set to clear too much history at shutdown.
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
If you have "Firefox will: Remember history" then there shouldn't be a problem. If you have "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" then make sure "Clear history when Firefox closes" is NOT checked, or if it is checked, click the Settings button and make sure that Site Preferences are NOT set to be cleared.
For #2 and #3, utility, privacy and system cleaning software sometimes clean up browser settings beyond just clearing cookies. You may need to check their settings if you have one or more of these programs.

KDE: split [kdebase-konqueror]?

I would like to put the following proposal for consideration:
Kdebase-konqueror not only provides file-manager and client browser, but also allows access to services such as setting preferens connections, SMB, proxy and more.
If you do not install kdebase-konqueror, you can not set up these services in systemsettings.
Even other programs - such as rekonq uses other services (such as cache settings, cokies, shortcuts).
It would be great if these services separately (eg kdebase-katepart).
It would bring benefits for those who have not installed konqueror, but want to configure your network, or those who use browsers based on where (rekonq).
The problem is that it had to be done only in the PKGBUILD.
These are files from kdebase-konqueror needed for configure network, proxy and smb from systemsetting:

'Add a Page' missing from Site Actions

Hello,
We are having a weird problem on our SharePoint 2013 server where the menu item "Add a page" is no longer in Site Action menu.
All sites are publishing sites and we have custom masterpage with custom pagelayouts too.
We don't have other custom packages/webparts/solutions installed, everything is standard SharePoint except the masterpages and pagelayouts.
There are no javascripts error on the pages. We are running as Site Collection Administrators.
The menu item was there before, it suddenly disappeared.
We also installed the design package on another server and the menu item "Add a page" is there.
There are errors in the logs saying:

Hi hipplan,
According to your description, my understanding is that ‘Add a page’ is missing in your site.
Whether ‘Add a page’ occurred on a subsite at the same site collection.
This issue seems to be caused by custom something in your master page.
Please deactivate and activate publishing features at site collection level and site level.
Check whether the Wiki Page Home Page is active at the site level.
Then do the followings:
1.Open IIS
2.Click Application Pools
3.Select the web application pool that you use for your site
4.Right-click it, and select ‘Recycling…’
5.Reset IIS
After the above, open the site again, compare the result.

I'm having a problem with FF forgetting Username & Passwords to occasional sites, checked Tools options which is set correctly.

Twice this last few days, on different sites, FF3.6.10 has forgotten well used Usernames and passwords. First time it re-learnt after manually sign in.
Second time FF totally refuses to learn the Username and Password for the site. Tried 3 times after checking Tools>Options
Not blocked via site exceptions
Privacy> Clear history when FF closes>Settings>Data> PSWD NOT set

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* You must allow that cookie (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions), especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
* Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"

thanks for the question. What do you mean by "can prove"? BC allows you to enable the "Cookie Module", hence providing the users the choice to disable cookies. I've seen that you commented to this post as well: http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/allow-site-visistors-disable-cookies.html.
What exactly do you mean by "proof"? From our research the current module should suffice. However, if there are other pieces of info that we might have missed, please share them with us.

Web limiting won't allow sites that should be OK

I have web limiting turned on and it seemed to work fine until today. Now it will not allow a site that should be allowed.
I have "targetsite" listed as an allowed site. I can go to www.targetsite.com. A link on targetsite redirects to www.targetsite.com/ContentDelivery.aspx?ca=parameter and this page is not allowed.
What else can I do to make this page available?

The Web Limiting feature of WMS2012 is very basic, but at least it's better than the one in WMS2011, which only worked with IE and slowed everything down. Because websites contain so many third-party content servers from Amazon, google, etc., I'm constantly
going into the source code of websites or my router's web filter to see what's missing and why only part of the website is coming up. Then I add all of those extra sites into the whitelist.
The WMS web limiting feature needs a wildcard feature and keyword feature (e.g. "ftp://*" to block all ftp sites). Perhaps even a checkmark screen for commonly blocked things like google images, ftp, etc.
It needs a global checkbox to block all traffic except for the whitelist but still respect the blacklist. That way we could also use the blacklist to fine tune the whitelist. For instance, we could whitelist google.com but then blacklist:
"*google.com/imgres?*" to prevent image URLs.
"*google.com/preferences?*" to prevent users from adjusting safe filtering
It needs a trusted site feature where it will trust all the links from a trusted site so you don't have to put a dozen extra URLs into the whitelist and hope the website doesn't switch content servers. I suppose this would be resource intensive because Microsoft
would have to look at the source code of every page or at least ones in this special trusted site section. It wouldn't be able to handle content in iframes (which are usually ads anyway), but it would be a start.
It needs a time schedule for web limiting.
It needs web limiting on a per user or per group basis, including for administrator accounts.
All of these features need to work with https traffic as well.

Help Setting not available in Site Setting

I try to validate payload and get 2 errors:
1. Segment COM type an min length 1 max length 512 payload value: [email protected]
Error: ub-Element COM010-010 (Communication address identifier) contains characters not listed in the allowed character set. Segment COM is defined in the guideline at position 0350.
2. Segment group 27 Sub Element CUX payload value is null, value is exists at header level (Group 7 ub-Element CUX)
Error: Unrecognized data was found in the data file as part of Loop Group 27. The last known Segment was MOA at guideline position 1260 - Validator error - Extra data was encountered.
