KDE 4.4.5 crashes (kwin?) at random points

Hi there
I have a very annoying problem. When I login to KDE from KDM, i can browse arround for about 30 seconds, and suddently KDE crashes and I'm thrown back to the KDM prompt. It's always crashing no matter which programs I'm using, but it seems that it crashes more frequently when I'm using a web browser, eg. firefox with the opensuse kde integration patch. I've tried to rename .kde4, .kde and .mozilla folders in ~/, That action delays the crash, but it still happens.
I haven't had this problem before i issued a big system upgrade yesterday, where it seemed the whole KDE desktop, linux kernel, xorg + drivers got upgraded.
So right now i have the following configuration (which may cause some problems, I don't know);

I've checked my .xsession-errors when it crashes, but i do not understand that log file at all. However, i have pasted it here: http://pastebin.com/bSvmmWpG
Then I found out, that disabling desktop effects in kwinrc solves the problem, but I don't think it's very funny to live without desktop effects
I hope some of you guys can help me (and others, if they should have the same problem).

I've tried that now, and i doesn't solves the problem. Thankyou for the answer anyway.
I don't know if the problem is reproduceable, but it happens when i'm doing one of the following:
- Having desktop effects disabled and enabling them through system settings
- Having desktop effects enabled and writing in the adress bar in firefox with opensuse patch causing the menu to drop down
- Just browsing arround, having chromium and konqueror open
When running KDE in failsafe mode (or just having desktop effects disabled) everything seems to run fine including firefox with the opensuse patch.
So.. it seems having something to do with those desktop-effects, which is in "open-gl" mode. Maybe it's only a graphics card/driver specific issue? Are there other ati users with a recent system who're facing the same problem. Or maybe Nvidia or Intel users?

Firefox crashing at seemingly random times?

I am running Windows Safe Mode and running Firefox with add-ons disabled, but it is still crashing. When add-ons are enabled, it crashes any time I try to view the add-ons tab, but if add-ons are disabled, it crashes at more random times.

I am also having the repeating crash problem with Google Chrome, but I don't know if the two problems are related.

Airplay audio streaming from Iphone to ATV crashes when changing randomly title?

Why does airplay audio streaming from Iphone 4S iOS 7.04 crashes when changing randomly title? The ATV is not connected to a TV, only to an AV Receiver. Anywhere the same problem?

Text-to-speech crashes at the same point in a document when trying to create an audio file

I like to convert text to audio (large documents), and have been doing this using a 3rd party app for a long time now. The app sometimes crashes at a specific point in a text (i.e. it always crashes at the same point no matter where I start from). The TTS also has, at times crashed even if I am just using hot keys to read a segment outloud. At times, this live-use crash prevents me from using tts until I reset my computer. Just recently realized I can use an automator action to convert a text to audio without using a 3rd party app. The automator action also crashes and, after it does so, automator app won't open again without reseting my computer.

By the way, I have only had my shuffle for 3 months
and it is doing this. Are problems this soon normal
or did I get a dud?
I have only had a Shuffle for one week. I returned the first one to the store after a few days and they gave me another which appears to do exactly the same thing. My hunch is that it is not time-related; indeed, I cannot think of anything in the Shuffle that would change over time in this way, as it has nothing to "wear out" per se (except switches and a battery).
I do not hear any pops on mine - it just stops neatly at the end of a random song. Yesterday it went a very long time (about 4 hours) before this happened.
Mu hunch is that it is tied to the "randomizing" function within the Shuffle. When you use a playlist in random mode, every iPod effectively creates an "on the fly" randomized list. Perhaps the Shuffle goofs this up and places some gibberish in the list. This makes sense as the issue appears to be non-existent in the "non-random" mode.
I will try a few more tricks, such as different USB ports and perhaps rebuilding my Library. Seems a pain in the rear for stuff that otherwise works fine!

Adobe Media Encoder CS5 crashes at a certain point while rendering, I have also tried to render directly from Premiere Pro but this only makes PremPro crash instead.
The clip I am trying to render right now is 20 mins long, 1600x900 and is a .avi file. The output settings are H.264/HDTV 720p 29.97fps High Quality.
This all started happening after I re-installed windows.
Machine Specs:
Intel i5 3570k
8GB 1866MHz RAM
Intel HD 4000 graphics (yes I know I should get CUDA)
I made sure that CS5 was updated before posting this.

That size description makes me think this is a screen capture, not a camera file... if it is a screen capture, what codec/software did you use?

If the hardware test doesn't reveal any problems, use Lion Recovery.

White screen at random points on my iphone?

okay, so my power button had died, so i replaced it. it had white screened on me so i couldnt do anything with it till today.
so now that it was working, i updated it to 4.1 and hacked it (i can undo it, but it didnt matter)
at random points and when i press the power buttons it gives me a white screen that goes away after pressing a button. its annoying. ive restored twice since then. and im sick of the trouble this phone gives me. what do i need to do?

Calculating a distance between random points.

Hi everyone,
so my situation is like this :
1) I have created a graph containing random points (3 different series). And the graph have three buttons .The first button will plot 30 random points on the chart. the second and third button will plot random point with different colour.
What I am trying to do now is I need to choose one random point from the 30 points, and calculate the distance from the chosen point to the qrand or qinit..
How can I do that? I really have no idea. Help!

A pop up box flashes up at random points. Do not know what the box displays as it is too fast.

Video Podcasts freeze at random point

So watching video podcasts and some, but not all, freeze at some random point. The video and audio come to a halt but I see the timeline continue. Additionally, on any given podcast it will freeze in the exact same location every time with each podcast being different. I don't have ANY issues with music playing.

Songs start at random points...

When I play certain albums, different songs start at completely random points. For example, one song will begin playing 0:36 into the song and another will start 1:48 into the song. Anyone else have this problem and know what causes it and how to fix it? I've already tried palying songs with gapless playback turned both on and off and neither seem to change fix the problem. Look at that options tab again and see if you have 'remember playback position' ticked. If you do, it will start from the point where you left off, which is a feature designed for audiobooks and podcasts.
Hope that works, I can think of no other reason why it would be happening.

I have this program to create but have no luck since I dont understand the question itself! Can someone tell me (in dummified form) what this question is asking me? If possible, give an example.
Write a program that repeatedly generates the coordinates of a random point within the square and determines whether or not the point also lies inside the quarter circle. The program should repeat the process 10000 times. AFter every 1000 repetitions, it should use the results to determine and print n estimate of the value of pie (based on all repetitions up to that point).

Next draw a quarter circle with center at a corner of the square and radius 100. You'll see that it fills up most of the square not all of it.
