KDL-42W807B doesn't support conversion from 2D to 3D
Hi, i just bought TV model No KDL-42W807B and it doesn't support conversion from 2D to 3D and i need to play my ps4 games in 3D mode so is there is any thing can i do to let my tv convert 2d to 3d or what type of suitable converter to do this job for my ps4

AP 2 doesn't support restoring from 1.5 Vaults
I had an AP 1.5 Library containing JPG images only (no raw files), and one project, containing folders and a book. I had this library backed up to vault. I installed AP 2. I restored this vault into AP 2. AP lost 100% of my data: images, project, folders, and book. I was left with a completely empty library. This is 100% data loss. It appears AP 2 just isn't backward compatible. It doesn't support 1.5 JPGs, it cannot properly upgrade 1.5 libraries, and it cannot restore 1.5 vaults.

I'm headed to the Apple Store right now to return AP 2. I burned months with AP problems on the 1.0 release...not this time around. Consumers should not be alpha testers.

...except that it works just fine in 1.5. Glad to hear it has worked for some. Unfortunately, I'm not working with your images, on your hardware configuration, with software purchased with your money. Yes, I reported both problems to Apple as a bug report. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way the first time around with AP 1.0 -- it may be months or never before this problem is addressed. I've run through this whole cycle now twice, with exactly the same results both times. I'm going to try one more thing: uninstalling AP 2 and reinstalling AP 1.5, and trying this library again in 1.5. If that doesn't work, I don't really care if Apple can recover the photos or not -- I cannot use a data management app that loses data, and further, I won't burn my time/revenue again spending hours testing an app I paid for to work. I'll be returning AP 2.

Ideapad S205 doesn't support booting from SDHC-Card

I have the Ideapad S205 and I cannot boot from a SDHC-Card (Ubuntu Linux) with the internal cardreader. With an external card reader I can boot from the SDHC-Card.
Is there any solution or maybe a BIOS-Upgrade?

also, check for bios booting option. if there's not option, i don't think s205 supports booting from sdhc, but apparently it supports usb boot. -
I have CS5 and when I try to download a raw file from my Nikon 810 I get an error message saying this version of raw doesn't support this camera model. Yet I just updated CS5 online.
I do not use lightroom and I have a subscription so I can open all supported RAW formats. You will need DNG file for Your Camera's NEF files for use in Photoshop ACR version. You can open your NEF files in LR it seems so you could do all your raw conversion with Lightroom and save out Tiff files for processing in Photoshop. I do use lightroom for I do not need its library. Lightroom does not support layered files so lightroom is of no value to me. ACR UI is all I need having a second interface to Adobe Raw Conversion Engine would more annoyance than value to me.

i have a macbook pro 15" retina Display with 2.6 ghz and 8gb of ram when i try to download an HD movie from itunes it says my computer doesn't support HD? i went to the support on the apple website and looked at the specs that a computer has to meet in order to play HD movies and mine is well above them. Why can't i play the movies?

These MacBook Pros drew more power than the power brick could readily supply, and so would only run at top speed when the power brick was supplemented by the battery.

When MobileMe goes down the drain, you will need to move your website to standard hosting. Depending on your site size, I recommend A Small Orange, as the Tiny hosting plan they have is big enough for most iWeb sites and much cheaper then shelling out $6 a month for most of the other big names, and if you check out their forum, several of the members have coupon codes in thier signatures. Also, their customer service is great and very fast in getting back to you.
To upload, I publish the iWeb site to a folder, then using Cyberduck upload it to the host. Cyberduck beats iWeb's FTP uploader because Cyberduck only replaces updated pages, instead of uploading the entire site.

I have a Personal Video Recorder (Humax HDR-1010S), which supports DLNA, connected to my home network via Wi-Fi.
I want to play music from iTunes and view photos from iPhoto from my MacBook (which is also connected to the home network) via the PVR / TV / Home Cinema sound system. I understand that my MacBook (running OS X Mavericks) doesn't support DLNA server.
Is there any 3rd party software that I can install on my MacBook to provide DLNA server?
Thanks,My recollection is that the iPhoto library has some fairly robust protections to prevent inadvertent or even deliberate changes being made that might have unwanted consequences. I'll take alook at my setup and let you know if I can see anything that might help you. Even if you get Serviio to "see" the iPhoto library, it almost ceratinly won't show the album structure and names. What I did is to export each iPhoto album to a standard folder with the appropriate folder name. These I keep on an external backup disc and Serviio can see these without trouble.

How can I administer a Gen1 Airport Express from, my MacPro (OS 10.9, Airport Utility 6.3.2). I can see the Express in the WiFi window but from the Airport Utility I get the following message: " This version of AirPort Utility doesn’t support this base station. Go to AirPort Service and Support for more information." Of course there's nothing of value on the support page. Any clues anyone?
Apple has dropped support in Mavericks (10.9) of the AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme models that were discontinued more than six years ago.
You can still administer the older AirPort models if you have a Mac running Leopard, Snow Leopard, or a PC. -

You cannot save to Dropbox from Pages natively, but there is a workaround that allows you to use the Copy to WebDAV to get things to Dropbox:

Your iPhone will connect at the highest speed it can by default. But not all wireless providers
offer 3G as the fallback connection on their 4G network - some fall back to 2G. -
