KE30 not displaying Text for CO-PA Char Without Value Maintainance

Hello Experts,
We have a characteristic that was created Without value maintainance, because we use an Exit to get the Vendor from material in EINA, concatenating with the Vendor text from table LFA1.
Now I created a report in KE30, but the characteristic text (that appears in KE24) does not appear in KE30, it comes as "blank".
Is there a way to make the text for this characteristic to appear in KE30 report?

I am running OSX 10.10.2 and Safari 8.03
Some sites I visit do not display text at all.
For example: This site (http://neflin.org/) looks fine in Chrome, Firefox, whatever. But in Safari, it has no text at all. See below.
Mail is having difficult with some text in html email too.
I have rebooted, reset the PRAM, deleted preferences and turned off extensions. I checked the Guest account and created a new account and in all cases the problem persists.
I have validated fonts in Font Book, restored standard fonts and looked for duplicates. Nothing.
Flash and Java are up to date.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.

BPS Variable-Cost Element is not displaying Text

Dear Team,
We have a peculiar issue one of the BPS Variable defined for Cost Element is not displaying text in one of the Planning Layouts.
Another variable is displaying text in another layout.
Surprisingly...when I reused the old variable in the new layout it is also not displaying the text.
Am I missing something....appreciated your quick support.

Have you check the layout Lead-Column setting? Is it set to 'Key/Description'?

Not getting texts for infoobject 0CPR_STAT1 (cProject- System Status)

Hi All,
We are not getting texts for infoobject 0CPR_STAT1 (cProject->System Status), 0CPR_STAT2, 0CPR_STAT3. Even in source system r/3 there are no records and our function team doesn't no how to get the records in that data source.
DATA SOURCE NAME 0DPR_STSYS1_TEXT, 0DPR_STSYS2_TEXT, 0DPR_STSYS3_TEXT

My Mac will not stay on for even 5 minutes without being plugged in. It just completely shuts itself off. It started doing it and I went in and cleaned up some stuff, but it just kept getting worse. Not I'm lucky to get 5 minutes out of it. Why?

How to display TEXT more than 500 char in a report as multiple lines.

i have a requirement like i should display Texts of length more than 500 Characters in a report( ALV LIST) as multiple lines
I am fetching the data Using FM READ_TEXT
the output im currently geeting with 150 Char in lenth as a single line
How we can split the text into multiple lines in a report
first i would like to know is it possible? if possible please give your valuable suggitions if not is there any alternative way to do this task.

Hi,
This is possible but the Solution might not look Standard/Appropriate to you.
In ALV, you can have Multiple Line Output...There is a Field in the Field Catalogue..called as Row_position...this is by default 0...which means Single row/Line ALV output....You can have this Value in the Range of 0 to 3.......A ALV field with row_position 1, will be displayed in the second line for every record...i.e. you will have multiple line for a single record of ALV.
In your case......you can use this but you need to split your field in two fields.....but you may end up spliting a single word....but for that also you can design the logic of splitting the Fiel value at SPACE only......

Working with FM 11 I've got a longer text written with an older FM-version with some headings and paragraphes that are not displayed. It's just free space or lines and in some cases it's underlined like misspelled words but the characters are not visible. Paragraph- and character-formats look normal (that is black text on white background) and the text is not conditional. BUT the text is displayed in the Markers-Pod, when I mark a passage and it's even possible to find words in these paragraphs searching for them. I would appreciate any hint, how to deal with this problem.

Sometimes I encounter a bug (FrameMaker 11.0.2.348) which also hides some text. I have a two-column layout with columns balanced. Usually some text is hidden at the end of the second column. When I add some empty paragraphs after the hidden text, the text appears again.
MIF washing does not help.
Luckily pages with hidden text have the Overflow property set. The bottom line of the text frame is solid. I wrote a FrameScript which checks for such pages.
I do not know, if your problem has the same cause.

Safari will not display text

Why does Safari not display the main text section of the following web page? This happens with Safari for Mac and Windows. Obviously the site is done with a MS-compatible design tool. Is there an easy change that I can suggest to the site's webmaster or is there a 'plugin' that can be used by Safari to allow visibility?

Firefox/Camino are more forgiving for bad code and the sites works with these browsers.

Maintaining / Displaying Text for Infotype record

If you want to know the text of a infotype then goto the table
V_T582A.
eg:0000 actions
0001 organisation assignment.
But if you want to change the standard text of a infotype then you need to have access key to change.
But if you are asking the text table for the fields in 0001.
then goto se11
enter Pa0001--dislay
click the tab entry help/check then you can see the table names in the column check table for each field.

IMail not displaying text

I am using a 3.6 version of imail, when I send an email with attachments in it to someone using microsoft outlook they don't receive the main body of text. How can I fix this!?

In what way does this not make sense? The first line:

creates a string variable.
The second line:
welcomeMessage_txt.text = welcomeMessage;
uses the value of that variable as the text for a dynamic
text field. It
works, it's a pretty normal method of defining a variable's
value. And
it's a pretty normal method for using that value.
Please explain more about how and why this is incorrect.

BPM reporting not displaying data for newly added field

Hello All,
I have a BPM process up and running fine. I have added reporting for monitoring no. of context field. I have also created a VC model for displaying the BPM report data. However, VC application is displaying only the context field that I had selected initially during the New Reporting Datasource creation. It'd not display the reporting data for the field that I added later.

Finder does not display icon for word / excel in list view

Hi,
I got a new macbook air, with Yosemite pre installed. I copied over all my files (from my old macbook using a USB drive) and next I installed MS office for mac.
For some reason Finder does not display the correct excel of word icon in list view (I set preview thumbnail to NO in view options), but it it displays the generic file icon.
It appears to be very random, as some files do display the icon and others do not. It also appears to have nothing to do with the doc/docx xls/xlsx variations.
Also some of my parallels icons do not display correctly in list view.
When I open a INFO panel, it does show the correct icon. Example below:
Any body know how to reset / fix this ?

Safari 4.0.3 not displaying text correctly

Hi all, I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard (along with everyone else) and ever since certain code will NOT display correctly.
This is what is displayed by safari when viewing text from a "code" tag.

I have tried troubleshooting and fixing this problem by reinstalling both Safari 4, and Snow leopard to no avail, I have also verified and repaired permissions.

SOLUTION FOUND!
I searched the forums and found our solution here:

Basically, go to your Applications and open Font Book. If this is the case, you have two sets of Courier running. Scroll down to where Courier is and click the drop down triangle to see it's different styles. I then sort of just guessed and checked this next move but it did the trick. Find the Courier Regular that does NOT give a sample display of our beloved ABCs. Right click that "bad" version of Courier Regular and choose the Remove or Delete Option and verify with an OK. It should get rid of all the bad versions and the warning triangles. Try out a page in Safari and it should look as good as any other browser now.

Flash not displaying correctly for only one web site

In the last 3 or 4 days I seem to have problems with the flash content of one single web site not displaying correctly from my laptop. I have the same problem from both IE (version7.0.5730.11) and from FF (3.5.8). The site works fine from my desktop system so it's not the site specifically. The site (www.transparent.com/wotd/today/spanish.htm) has an embeded flash segment that does not display correctly and thus I can't click on two of the embedded buttons. It also does not display the background pattern for the flash. I'm running flash 10.0.45.2 based upon right clicking from within the embedded flash which takes me to the Adobe page with my version info. The Adobe page seems to display fine.
As far as I know I'm not having problems with another instance of flash - only this site.
Any thoughts on how to diagnose the problem? I've not added any new programs since this website stopped working but do have some background "tune up" programs that run. I'm assuming some settings are out of wack but don't know where to start looking. Any help folks woulc provide would be appreicated.

Well, that is hard to tell. Like I said the website may have updated their technology. Just because it works with the Desktop, doesn't mean there is not a reason that the laptop might not have a problem. You have 2 different systems and
most likely different configurations.
You may want to check Tools and in the add ons for both, look for Shockwave Flash Object...ActiveX Control..Flash10e.ocx should be installed and enabled.
Also for each check C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Right click the Flash folder and make sure for IE that the files are vs 10.0.45.2 by checking the properties.
If you have the correct Flash files and the correct SWO then, some other cause would be looked at.
It has been my experience to not "assume", but verify:-)
