It looks to me like it is a problem on your Windows computer not being able to start an application. It may help if you know or can determine which program Windows is trying to open when you upload photos -- there can be many different ones and it can be set by the user. If you are using Windows 7, you may need to check your Autoplay settings. Yesterday I went to upload a photo to Facebook from my iphoto and it said I had no network connection. I did/do have internet connection and it's still not working today !
I have been able to do this in the past. Any tips why this has stopped and what I can do? My computer is only 3 weeks old !!! All my udates are up to date as well.Right click on one of the photos and reveal in finder - what happens?
Is there any change a file with the same name as you are trying to create in the location your are exporting to (if so export to a new folder)

Anybody missing the scroll arrows in iOS 5 camera roll ?
I use my iPhone a lot as a photo camera, and since iOS 5 I miss the scroll arrows in the camera roll. When you take many photos of the same subject they come usefull to jump quickly between photos to visualize better their differences.
It turned my iTouch from a useful business tool -- I could load photos onto my iTouch and take it out onto the field or the dugout when I talked to baseball players and go over video clips with them frame by frame -- into a really expensive MP3 player.
It's also more than a bit frustrating because I bought the iTouch for this purpose.
At least I can still do something like this on my iPad (but who knows for how long). -
My Adobe Collage app crashes each time I push the camera roll button
I have tried all. From the first time I started the app my camera roll button has pushed me out of The Collage app.
I have my settings on for location service. I've restarted both the app and my iPad 2 and I've also erased the app and reinstalled it. No other photo input crashes the app. Just when I push the camera roll button and it takes me out of the app in a splitt second.
It's very frustrating paying this much money for an app that I can't use in my work because it don't need other peoples photos but mine.
Please look in to this as fast as possible.

AmiI don't have any albums in my camera roll only the one main album.
I have location on so the app should be okayed to look at my photos
correctly.
I have now tried to erase the app twice and also restarted my ipad2. And
reinstalled the app. And it's the same the whole time. If I push the camera
roll button to use my own photos it just jumps out of the app right away.
And it's very frustrating.
Everything else seem to work fine but it's a useless app if I can't use my
own photos to show customers.

Crackling sound while pressing the area of Micro SIM slot?
I´ve to ask the global z1 compact users about the build quality of the devices.
My first device from amazon.de had a crackling sound while pressing the area of the micro SIM card slot - amazon did an instand replace but the replacement unit also started with this issue on day after set up. I think this is not a general fault but i´m a bit angry with this issue on such an premium device.
Can you hear anything when pressing this area? what do you think about that? Will you recharge?
I´ll hope that this is not a problem for water resistance...thinking about the Z in the first times...loosing back panel...

i am having major issues! this does not work i dont understand..does the ipod have to be off while pressing the buttons if so how is it possible if it is connected to the computer either way it turns on..and when i tried these steps while the ipod was on it still doesnt work it just asks me “slide to power off” please someone help me i just cant seem to put my ipod in DFU mode
To get the iPod in recovery mode and DFU mode you first have to turn the iPod off.
Just what is the problem you are tying to resolve?
Sometimes you have to let the battery fully drain if you can't turn the iPod off. After charging for at least hour try again. -
Everytime I go to full-screen mode the photo I am working on is on one space while the filmstrip is on another. Also there is no way to get to the menu on top as it is hidden. When I hit the f key everything goes to black and I have to quite the program. This is the first time I have any problems with Aperture.
I run aperture 3 on OS X 10.7 iMac 27" 2.8GHz i7 16GB.

What I usually do for PDF pages/tabs, is click in the URL/location bar, then F11.<br />
For Flash, if you click on the page outside of the video area/box, F11 should work. -
Impossible to update the softwares from the top CC menu. First the menu does'nt show the software on my computers and after a while of seaching, the icon disapear from the menu and no uptade. Can someone tell me why. Thank you

So just like last time I tried to update my iPhone software...MY PHONE IS FROZEN. Displaying iTunes icon and a USB cable I pressed the Power button and the menu botton together until the apple icon appeared held them down for 10 secs & NOTHING Now what? Do I just wait for the battery to run out?

Your iPhone is in recovery mode-- you need to connect it to your computer and, most likely, iTunes will ask you to restore it. If you recently backed up this shouldn't be too much of a problem. -

How may I change the height of the menu bar to allow my large icons/buttons to maintain their size?
I recently updated from FF28 to FF31. Totally different UI, I get that. I waited to update until I could psych myself to try something different. I have the Default Australis Theme and Noia Fox Theme, which is designed with larger icons/buttons for those with visual needs. On my screen at the moment I have the title bar, menu bar, tab bar, and url/addon bar with the "hamburger" menu to the right. I placed icons in the menu bar, kept the home icon on the addon bar, and then there are the default icons in the menu popup. When I enable the Noia Fox Theme, the icons look great on the url/addon bar, even in the menu popup; clear, large, easy to see. However, the icons in the menu bar (not the menu popup) are less than half their original/intended size. So I switch to default Australis Theme, restart, and same issue, though not quite as dramatic since Default theme is smaller to begin with.
My thinking then is that there is a setting within the menu bar which resizes the icons/buttons to a small default size. Can this setting be changed to allow the icons to retain their original size (or close to it) and if so, how? I like the location of the menu bar on my screen, below the title bar, above the tab bar. Works nicely with the new The Fox Only Better addon which attaches to the tab bar and hides the url bar, a "new" feature for me and I'm liking it. I know I can get CTR with an additional bar, and I did try that. The issue then is that the additional bar appears below the tab bar and is not movable to above the tab bar and below the title bar.
At the moment, I have just the two themes, security addons added and The Fox Only Better. I've not added other appearance addons yet so as to keep potential conflicts/issues to a minimum. I've not tinkered with internal FF default settings other than to say don't track me (I think that's all I did). So to the best of my limited understanding, I've kept changes and customizations to a minimum. And yes, per your educated guess feature for questions posted, I am running Win 8.1 and FF 31.
I think I've offered enough detail so others can try to duplicate the issue. If not, let me know and I'll try to respond as soon as I can. Thanks so much for any help offered.
~ wkothlowYou can double the height of the menu bar area using a custom style rule. I couldn't immediately find an icon that would take advantage of the space so I'm not sure this will solve the problem, but you could try it.
The custom style rule could be as simple as:

When trying to import photos with iPhoto from photoshop... won't let me keeps saying that the photos are already in the iPhoto library but they are not
If you are using Photoshop from within iPhoto the following may help with the workflow. However, we do need to know the answers to the questions posed by Terence and Larry to be able to help you.
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

Note 1: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
Note 2: editing a RAW file with either PSE or PS creates a new file which must be saved outside of iPhoto, i.e. the Desktop, and imported as a new photo into the iPhoto Library.
