Keep getting an email that doesn't exist. Help?

I've repeatedly gotten an email from "Frank Obi", saying "ARE YOU THERE??". But when I open the app there is no email. What's going on? It's incredibly ominous and creepy when they arrive.

No idea what's going on but check this link out John Bill and Frank Obi have your $2.6Million ATM card

  • How do I update apps under an old apple id email that doesn't exist anymore and have forgotten the password?

I want to update some apps on my iphone but can't because it's asking for an old apple id email that doesn't exist anymore and I have forgotten the password for it!
    Help!!!

The apple id login is never deleted. The emaill address itself can be disabled or not in use any longer. The apple id login will still be available to you. If you will go to the website My Apple Id
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
and use the listed apple id login that your apps are asking for to update - once you have changed the password at the lsted website you then will be able to update using the old apple id once you have logged into the device using the old apple id and password.
    Good luck.

  • I am trying to change the Apple ID on my old iPhone 5c but it wants a password for an old Apple ID with and email that doesn't exist anymore

MMy old iPhone 5c is wanting a password for logging into my apple account. The problem is that the email address its tied to doesn't exist anymore. I changed the email to a different one. But can't figure out how to change the email address on the phone to the new email address.

The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.

  • Keep getting an email that says I need to upgrade to a larger iCloud by september 30, 2013. But I have upgraded already. "Your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade expires on September 30, 2013."

I keep getting messages that indicate that I will lose my 20 GB complimentary storage. "Your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade expires on September 30, 2013."
When I go to my icloud settings - it shows that I am on the 20GB plan for $40.
    What gives?

If you have purchased additional space that will have over-ridden the complimentary storage you had and will run until renewal a year from when you purchased it. You've received an automated email which hasn't recognized that you have purchased the storage: ignore it.

  • Keep getting unreadable emails that say theyr'e sent from my email address sometimes every minute

I keep getting undelivered mail with attachments which say they have come from me, its all rubbish with the words all messed about, the last one came from America, Is it because I don't have a spam folder so that they are sitting in my in box, and what do I need to do, as soon as I hover over them they open. how on earth do all these people have my email address. Any help please would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, you've guessed it.
Someone is abusing and using your email address.
They are randomly sending to a load of email address which they hope will get a response. If any email address is not valid or blocking, then you will receive the Mailor daemon message that it is undelivered.
This at least tells you that someone has used your email address.
    Do not respond to anything.
    Do not open any attachement.
    Delete those emails.
Just in case any of your contacts have received one of these emails, you should alert them to the fact.
Send them an email stating that someone is abusing your email address.
Suggest you add a specific signature to your emails and tell your contacts that anything genuinely from you will have your signature. Tell them not to open an attachment and delete those emails. Usually, they do not even look like they came from the alledged sender.
What you need to assess is whether this is just someone spoofing your email address (more common) or whether your computer or account have been compromised.
Reboot computer in safe mode and run your anti-virus software.
change passwords after checking no malware on computer - key logging etc.
You cannot stop this kind of abuse.
You can help to try to avoid this by never disclosing your email address in any forum etc.
Sometimes people forward emails they think are amusing etc, but they do not remove the email addresses before forwarding, so after the email has been forward a zillion times, who knows how many people may end up knowing your email address.

  • I redeemed an iTunes code to an email that doesn't exist...

When I was registering my sister's Apple ID via the redeeming option (because if you don't have an iTunes card, you have to redeem through the credit card option, and she doesn't have one), I typed a wrong number in her email address, creating one that most likely didn't exist, and I didn't notice it until it sent the verification. I didn't get an option to change the email address or anything, and now I can't redeem the code under the real email address, what should I do?

  • Deleting an Email that doesn't exist

I didn't see any other subject for this neither do I have the patience to really look for it.<br><br>But I have an HP Photosmart 7525 and I'm having trouble deleting an email on it.<br><br>The reason for this is because this email has been permanently deleted, I've forgotten the pin to it, and a certain family member thought it would be a great idea to send a new pin to a nonexistent email five times...<br><br>I don't want to refresh the entire printer and restore it to factory settings because it is a family printer and it would be tedious to have to rewrite all of our emails and get new pins. Is there any way I can fix this without restarting it? Or do I have no choice.

    Hi Azra,
I have looked into this and if you do not have the pin you cannot delete the email. If you can choose the other emails with out an issue then I would suggest just ignoring the email in question. The only way to remove it would be to do a reset.
I hope this helps, let me know.
    Thank you,
I worked on behalf of HP.

  • I keep getting warnings/emails that I have logged in from a webbrowser, and that my devices are restoring from back ups. it seems to send to all 4 devices on my account, is there anyway to turn that off?

I upgraded several devices, my partner is out of the county and a little irritated at the emails and pop ups LOL not sure how to turn this off

In answer to your first question, unfortunately you don't get allocated more iCloud storage as you buy more devices - it is 5GB free per account.
Regarding the pop-up, I too find it annoying but you won't find a resolution to it on these forums - best thing to do is to submit feedback to Apple and hope they improve it.

  • I put on my iphone an email that doesn't exist!

Hi there everyone i just have my new iphone and i put in my icloud the incorrect email address how can i change it?
    can please **** me

    Howdy JenLondono,
Are you not able to sign out of the incorrect iCloud "account" and sign back in with the correct one?
    iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings
    Turn off iCloud completely
Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:
On your iOS device: Go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Sign Out (Delete Account in iOS 7 and earlier).

  • Keep getting same email everyday from 1 year ago

Everyday, I keep getting an email that  was sent to me a year ago.  I delete it off the phone and it still comes back daily.  How to do I stop this?
    Thanks

Is it also showing up as new yearly in your email server?
If so, go and delete the message there and/or set a filter to block that email.
Otherwise, it might be some issue with the sender's account or their email server of which you have no control over.

I'm trying to connect to my work's VPN.  I am connected to the VPN, but I cannot access the server. I keep getting a message that says the server may not exist or is unavailable.  I know that’s not the case because my coworkers are connected. Can someone please help me?

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
No answers here, but you are definitely not alone with this issue.

  • I have an apple ID, I'm trying to use this to update and download apps etc. however, whenever I try this, it keeps asking me to use my old ID, which is attached to an email that no longer exists! I can't download or update anything! Help!

You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com

  • HT5312 I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset when I did not reset them.  Started early June 2013 and in a month i have had to reset it three times. Apple support was not helpful.  Any suggestions?

I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset.  I did not reset it.  Since early June 2013 to now i have had to reset it 3 times.  It is not an easy one to remember either. Initally I thought it was some pfishing expedition but no purchases have been confirmed by my visa.  My kids use my Apple Id to download APs and I am informed when this happens.  Nothing strange happening on the financial site at all. Just frustrating as we have to keep updating the ID to use messenger, I cloud etc on all of the devices.  I called Apple Support and the girl initally said she knew nothing about this but then spoke to someone else and they are aware of this ongoing problem and are working on it.  Any suggestions? Are others having the same problems?

If the system didn't ship with Mountain Lion originally and you didn't purchase Mountain Lion yourself, then you will need to purchase. A purchase by the system's original owner cannot be transferred to you.
Unless you have another system on which you have purchased Mountain Lion, you will need to first install Mac OS X 10.6.8 on the iMac, for which you'll need either the original installation disks, if the iMac came with 10.6, or a retail copy of 10.6. Install 10.6 and upgrade to at least 10.6.6, and then you can buy Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store, presuming of course that the imac can support Mountain Lion. See:
