Please perform the steps mentioned below.
1. Try to view the site in a different web browser to see if that's the issue. Normally, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all display the website properly. Try one or two of those (other than the one you've been using) and it should do the trick.
2. If that doesn't work, try resetting Internet Explorer's default settings by clicking "Tools" (on the top menu bar), "Internet Options" (usually at the bottom of that list), "Advanced" (far-right tab), and "Reset" (towards the bottom-right of that box). After resetting the defaults, try viewing the ePrint Settings area again.

For starters, please make sure that you have the most current version of Reader installed by choosing Help > Check for Updates.

Normally this error means a secure connection to the iTunes Store has failed. Try the steps in the article below as it may help resolve this issue.

I keep getting an error message when I try to print. I have tried ctrl/p, and the print command in my email both give me the same error message

It has been for a month or 2 that I have not been able to print anything in my Firefox browser (It used to work just fine). I have no problem at all printing in Chrome ( I never use Internet Explorer ). Is it possible that my new printer is the problem? I had an HP now I have an Epson. That is the only change I have made that I am aware of.
A few weeks ago I had to print out an email, but the only way I could get it printed was to take a screen shot and paste it in a program that would print it.

Which way are you trying to update? WiFi or iTunes? In either case, I would try restarting/rebooting all devices and then try again.
IF you are using iTunes, eject your iPad, quit iTunes, reboot your computer and reset your iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. After the iPad starts up, connect to iTunes and try again. You may also want to disable your firewall and antivirus software when you try to update using iTunes. Sometimes those will interfere with the download.
If you are using WiFi, reset the iPad as described above and try again.
If WiFi updating will not work, try using iTunes, if iTunes will not work, try using WiFi.

Error -50 is a very unhelpful generic communications error with a number of possible causes. Something between the drive to which you are downloading and the drive from which it is all coming is not working correctly, which probably leaves several hundred options.
