Keep getting Error 6 from TDMS Deframent VI (LV 2009)

After closing my TDMS file I run the TDMS Defragment VI and keep getting Error 6 (generic file error). What could be causing this?

Unfortunately it's very big and you'd need some special instruments as well.

Keep getting error message from 'Cron Daemon'

I have been running an Xserve G4 with Mac OS X Server 10.3.9 as a mail server and web server for several years now with no problems. Recently, however, I tried to set up a mailing list, which I had never done before. When I tried doing this, OS X automatically created a mailing list called "Mailman" for me, in addition to the mailing list I created.
Now I keep getting error messages sent by "Cron Daemon <[email protected]>" to that "Mailman" mailing list. The error messages are sent to the mailing list and I get them as a subscriber to the list. They read:

I did some research on the OS X Server support pages and discussion forums and couldn't find any references to such a problem.
With a worldwide search with Google, I only found very obscure stuff about Python, which I know nothing about.
The mailing lists appear to be working fine other than that (and the fact that Mailman uses "www.mydomain.com" instead of just "mydomain.com").
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification. I really do not need anything fancy at this point. Also, please note that I am still using Server 10.3.9, not 10.4.
Now, as for the initial problem, I am afraid it is not gone. It has just changed. Here's what I got in my mailbox this morning:

In other words, the error message is still coming, but now it's being sent by "[email protected]" and since this is not a subscriber to the list, I get the admin notice requiring approval. (It's in French because I am using mailman's French-language option, but you should get the gist of it .)
I still do not know:
1) what causes this message and what it means
2) why it's coming from "[email protected]" rather than "[email protected]".
Like I said, I changed the "host_name" option from "www.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com" in both mailing lists I have, but obviously there is still some part of Mailman that thinks it should be using "www.mydomain.com".
I am afraid I still don't know what to do about this.
FWIW, I ran the check_perms command you gave me this morning and it did find 10 problems and corrected them. I don't know yet if this will help with this particular problem.

Plug-in page tells me all plug-ins are up to date, but I keep getting error messages from Firefox telling me they are not and are unstable

I keep getting error messages stating that my Adobe Flash is out of date and vulnerable. I go to the Add-ons Manager, click "update" and it takes me to the plug-in page which shows it's up to date!! Same with Java DT and Shockwave Flash. How can I update if I have the latest versions already!?! I am inclined to just allow the plug-ins to work but don't want my pc to become vulnerable. Please help!

My printer works great but I keep getting error messages from HP Solutions Center

I'm using an HP Officejet J6480 All in One Printer on a Windows 7 64 Bit machine. The printer works great but I kept getting error messages from the HP Solutions Center every 15 seconds that popped up making it impossible to do work on my laptop so I uninstalled the Solutions Center to try to fix the problem. Now the printer won't print. Is there a way to re-install the Solutions Center and get rid of the pop up error messages?

My operating system has been giving issues since I bought but I just wanted to be able to do my class work on it, I have had to restore which caused me to lose my CS6 afte I successful was able to extract and install it. However since my last restore i was not able to do so i have tried three times and have restored my pc about the same about since I open it on Christmas day. I have has little issues not so many issues just few glitches but i have issues with this because i will not extract it all and I am pretty sure I have enough disk space with 401 gb left. I've tried a lot of the stuff mentioned at that link and elsewhere, modifying host files etc. trying to downgrade my iPhone 4 back to 5.1.1 no luck , apple has locked up 5.1.1 for my phone and iPad . one post said I'm "stuck with iOS 6" darn I should have been more careful. I have the 5.1.1 Ispw on my MacBook its a permissions thing I don't understand. I called Apple under my Mac support contract. They were completely unfamiliar with the error you and I were encountering. Updating to 10.8.5 didn't help.
I'm stopping my TimeCapsule while I perform these tasks, but I don't know yet if I have a consistent work-around.

iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.

I am having the same sort problem (although my keyboard is recognized so I'm much further along than you).
I had a MacBook Pro with an XP SP3 partition and a Windows 7 partition on it.
I switched to a Mac Pro and wanted to migrate them over to it.
I used WinClone to make backups of both partitions and transferred the WinClone images to the Mac Pro.
I manually created the partitions and restored the WinClone images into each one.
But VMware wouldn't recognize either one.
So I deleted them both, and let Boot Camp Assistant (re-)create a single Boot Camp partition. Then I restored the Windows 7 WinClone image into it.
Ever since then all I get is "BOOTMGR is missing" error.
I thought maybe since I had dual-boot working (with a boot manager) in the old MacBook Pro setup, that the boot manager must've lived on the Windows XP SP3 partition, and it's completely missing from the Windows 7 partition. So I figured I needed to recreate it somehow.
After using the Windows 7 DVD ISO disc image to boot from, and trying several automated/manual steps, I can now actually get VMware to recognize the Boot Camp partition as being one, but when it tries to set it up for use with VMware, it complains that it isn't ready because it must have shut down incorrectly. It says to boot into Windows, then do a clean shutdown. But when I select the Boot Camp partition from Startup Disk, it boots from it but I still get the "BOOTMGR is missing" error even in a 'native' Boot Camp boot
I've tried all the steps I can find (including manual "bcdedit" steps booted from the Windows 7 DVD disc image) to no avail. I don't know what else to try at this point ...

Drive will not burn from itunes keep getting error...

Hi. When i try to burn from itunes i keep getting error " Attempt to burn to disc failed. The device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media."
I have looked this up and seems to be a problem for a lot of people yet apple seem to be ignoring it from what i have read. I have reset ram it worked once but never since even after resetting it again. So any ideas. Checked for updates noting. This is realy annoying now and i am losing faith in something i like. So apple get of your arse and sort this problem out.

Rather than blaming Apple engineers, have you contacted support to arrange service on the machine? Hardware problems, traditionally, don't fix themselves. But that's where technicians come into play as a means to resolve those hardware problems.
If you get a "check engine light" in your vehicle, do you just drive around and wait for it to be fixed saying: "Man, I wish <insert car manufacturer> would fix my check engine light problem tonight."
I've encountered a similar error message on one (of many) MacBooks that I've come across recently, a service call later and a replacement optical drive... problem resolved.

Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.
