Keep getting Error 999 when accessing My Yahoo!

Last week I started getting the Error 999 when trying to access my homepage which is My Yahoo! Sometimes it seems to go away but comes back. I've cleared my cache with no luck. I upgraded to 7.0.1 of Firefox on my MAC (10.7) and I am not aware of any system changes when this started to occur.

Try deleting, empty trash and re-install from Mac App Store.

    I keep getting error messages when I try to activate iMessage on my iPad since installing iOS7. Anyone else having this issue or a solution. I can obviously sign in with the same Apple ID information/password as I have done here and I am connecting with Wifi now and in all other apps.

    After looking at some other posts I signed into iTunes and edited my password with my Mac. Then I powered off and restarted my iPad and all is good now.

    Error 1604
    This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
    If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
    Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
    Restore and wait for the error.
    When prompted, click OK.
    Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
    The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    Try to restore again.
    If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

    Follow the steps listed above for Error 1604. Also, discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again.     OK, you turned off your filewall, but did you disable Norton Internet Security completely? For some issues just disabling the firewall is not enough. I once had a connection problem with Gracenote that went away when NIS was disabled, but turning off every element of NIS individually and together did not work.
    Some people have found adding the following to trusted domains helped:

    phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net

    Are you able to connect to the store normally with just downloading affected, or is there a general store connection problem?
    The other thing is have you run your network diagnostics from the iTunes Help menu? Posting the result might help.
