Keep getting itunes errors 3194, 1015... iPhone 3GS
I Keep trying to update my iPhone 3GS to IOS 4.3.5 and everytime i get itunes errors 3194, 1015... i have never jailbroken before
ok i did some research and worked out how to get rid of error 3194.
1) go to my computer
2)click on local disk
3) click the windows file
4)look for the file System32 click on it
5)look fop the file drivers and click on that
6)then the file etc
7)there wil now be a file named host click on it, it will give you a few options open the file in wordpad or notepad, when you open the file it at the botoom it wil have a line which says something like this
# 98.343.34.344 gs.apple.com
delete the
98.343.34.344 gs.apple.com
but leave the hash
now dont close the host file and open itunes and reconnect the usp device and hopefully you will be able to restore you iphone once the restore is done you can close the host file.

Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

That error can be caused by security software (antivirus or firewall) on your computer interfering with the update. However, if the error occurred in an Apple store when they tried to restore it's a hardware problem. -

So you're not trying to downgrade iOS?

Only one logged in user at a time. You must be logged in to your iTunes account then Menu/Store/Authorize This Computer.

It sounds like your file associations are messed up and Reader is trying to open your .jpg files. Is this correct?

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.
