Keep getting lock ups. Now its a black screen and will not respond even when unplugged .

I cannot reboot as i cannot see anything on the screen. Ive tried to restart and tried control alt delete, and f8 on start....still no response? Anyone have ideas?

you probably have a bad video card. The decision would be up to you but for that PC because it was so unique I'd look for an Authorized HP Repair facility in your area, that way they will know how to take it apart. The video card in this system has a heat sink attached to it as well and it pretty involved. You can replace it on your own, but it would be pretty involved. Here is a link to some instructions on how to open the case.

Have you tried clearing Safari? Clear Safari, close Safari completely and reboot your iPad. Try again.
Go to Settings>Safari>Cookies and Data.
If you are running iOS 5 or iOS 6 you close apps like this. Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
If you are running iOS 7, you close apps this way. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My ipod has a black screen and will not turn on how can i fix it

I have tried everything that i can to get my ipod to turn on. It has a black screen and hasnt done anything atleast 2 weeks. Please help.

1. Can you get it to light up doing a hard reset and holding the buttons down for at least a minute?
2. Is it charged up?
3. Is the USB power cable good?
4. Can you get iTunes to recognize using recovery or DFU mode?

My iPod has a flickering black screen and will not turn on. What can I do?

I accidentally left my iPod in my car for a few hours. It reached about 80 degrees outside, so I am worried. It did not turn on at all. Afterwards, I let it cool down and it still will not turn on. I plugged it into my laptop (PC) and it still does nothing. If flickers between two shades of black, but it does not do anything. I am starting to think it may have affected the battery. I have been experiencing problems with it not wanting to turn on without being plugged in for months now, but I did not really do anything about it.
I need help. I do not know what to do, so any form of help will be greatly apreciated!

I was afraid of this, to be honest. I kind of figured that I broke it completely.
I no longer have a warranty on it because I have had it for about three years, so I do not even know if it is worth taking in or if I would be better off with buying a new one.
If I were to replace the battery, would that help with the display or would it still be flickering a black screen?

My new iPhone 6 plus just went to a black screen and will not turn back on. If you hit the home button for siri to come on it still works, and if you plug it into the wall it makes the vibrate noise. The screen just won't turn on.

I was looking up a song on the internet, and my internet was being slow, so i was going to the settings to turn internet/wifi off so i could use data. When i did that the screen just went completely black. I didnt know what happened so i plugged it into a circuit into the wall to see if it needed charging. It made the buzz noise when i plugged it into the charger, and siri still works if you hold the home button down. I don't know what to do to get it to turn back on... My iPad Mini has a black screen and does not respond to anything.

I got my iPad Mini 6 days ago, and this morning I woke up to it overheating (to a point which any contact with it, or the case) was painful. Along with this overheating, the screen was and still is black. The iPad is not responding when I try to turn it on, off, hard reset it, etc.. It has not been taken off charge in approximately 6 hours, so I highly doubt lack of battery is a reason.

Satellite A200 13M - black screen and will not switch off

I hve just purchased a *Satellite A200 13M*. At first power on, Windows Vista seemed to be correctly installed and internet connection (wifi) was working. The Norton programme was updated, and I was able to download and install OpenOffice. However, as OpenOffice had reported a small amount of disk space available (55 Go) I tried to see the Hard Disk in the browser.
I clicked on Configuration panel, and waited for it to open. At this point, the mouse-arrow froze. After some time, I tried Ctrl, Alt, Del, and the system asked if i wanted to shut down. I did so, and a new screen announced that Windows was shutting down. This screen then froze in its turn. I waited for some time, and then tried to switch off with the power button. The screen went black.
However, the blue power light remains on, the fan is still turning, but nothing i do seems to wake the machine up. I have called the maintenance service of the shop I bought it from (Darty) but they are overloaded and said they would call me back in a day or two (!). Is there anything I can do in the mean-time that might allow me to continue working with the machine.

Sounds strange! But it’s a computer and sometimes such machines do {color:#ff0000}strange{color} things ;)
Anyway… try to remove the battery from the laptop and disconnect the AC adapter.
Wait about 20-30min and connect everything again.
Then try to power up the notebook. If it’s a not a serious issue the notebook should starts again!

My iPhone is frozen at the lock screen and will not unlock

For the past few months my iPhone 4S has been not acting good since I updated it to iOS 7. At random times it will go to a black screen and not respond for certain amount for time. Well today my iPhone went to that black screen and would not respond. Once I had someone call my phone the black screen went away and started acting normal as usual. Then once I tried to slide and unlock my phone it would not respond, When I tried to connect it to iTunes it connects and backs up but it will not restore. It had be stuck on the lock screen for almost 3 hours. battery life shows 100%. It shows the time as 8:38 because that is the time it stopped responding. The slide to unlock is still glowing but I can not slide to unlock my phone.
I have no clue on what is going or how to fix the problem. Could someone please help.
