Keep getting logged out of Facebook

It seems every few minutes while browsing Facebook I get kicked out and taken back to the login screen. I can be, say, browsing my own photos, clicking Next each time I want to move to the next one, then all of a sudden I click it, and bang, back to the login page. Or maybe I'm click on a friend's profile - it'll take me to their public profile page, because it's just logged me out - I have to login again to see their profile.
It's driving me to distraction, it worked fine for months and in the last few weeks this problem has started. I've emailed Facebook support and more or less got told to sod off (they reckoned that since their records showed that I'd successfully logged in since I first reported the issue to them, that everything must be fine now).
The reason I post here about it is that I have the Facebook app on my iPhone, and it never kicks me out, and I can browse it using my girlfriend's Vista laptop and it never kicks me out. This only happens on my Mac (10.5.6)/Safari (3.2.1). It can't be my Facebook account since it works fine on those other 2 devices, and it can't be my net connection as the other 2 devices share the same connection as my Mac.
I've tried emptying/deleting all Safari cache/privacy data, and I've tried removing all entries from my Keychain relating to Facebook, and I've tried deleting/re-creating my Facebook bookmarks, all to no avail.
Please help, as it really is making Facebook unusable for me.

I am having the same problem on my iMac (10.5.5). No problem with the iPhone app or at work on my PC, only when I'm at home. I have tried Firefox (3.0.5), Safari (3.2) and Opera (9.62)... all end with the same result. I tried changing my password but it didn't help. I tried searching for a solution in the Facebook help section but there is no info on this issue.

I have iOS 8.1.3, I've logged out of everything, restarted, logged back in, I've fully erased and reset the phone, I've done everything every blog has suggested and it is still not working properly. I've even had to fully erase my iPad because it started acting as the primary device so I was not getting any messages on my iPhone. I did update my password a while ago but even after that the phone and iPad were working fine, then within the last few month's I've been dealing with this issue.
Please help, I've literally tried every fix everyone has suggested on this subject and nothing is working. I'm strongly tempted to change from an Apple device at this point.

If that does not fix the problem - back up your phone to iTunes and restore as new
See if the problem is solved before you restore from backup or load any apps

I keep getting logged out safari iphone

I keep getting logged out of websites on iphone when using safari. ios8.1.2
I have an iPhone 6+ and I find this happens when using the tabs of safari. Each time I swich tabs I get logged out of whatever site/forum i was on.
These are sites I log into and tick the remember box so should stay logged.
I also have an iPad and I don't get this problem on the iPad - the sites keep me logged in as expected.
Can anyone help please?

I had the same problem, and have now solved it.
Go to System Preferences, then Security, and untick "Log out after 10 minutes of inactivity".

After updating my OS I keep getting logged out

After updatting my OS everything went down south. I keep getting logged out of my account automatically and I would have to log in again and lose all my work. My camera stops working too.
Any idea of whats going on and how I can fix it?

I keep getting logged out when navigating lengthy threads on my website.

Each time I try to navigate off of a lengthy thread on my website I get logged out.
It often happens when I try to submits posts also.

After latest update, I keep getting logged out of my email, even in the middle of reading emails!

Approximately two weeks ago, I installed an update to Firefox. Immediately after that, I keep getting signed out of my email, even while I'm in the middle of reading it or composing an email! It's very frustrating!

Check the Security panel of System Preferences and see if there's a select under the "General" tab of "Log out after xx minutes of inactivity". If that's not the case, launch the Console utility and see if there are any messages that might explain the log out.

Keep Getting Log Out of Creative Cloud

I've kept getting logged out of Creative Cloud today. What's going on? It was working fine yesterday. But today, I've been asking to log in every time I open PhotoShop CC. Logging in was successful every time, so the adobe server and my account appears to be fine. But why my logon doesn't stick? Plus, shouldn't the CC apps "cache" my status for a month before requiring me to log on again?

When in Facebook, I keep getting a window that I'm not logged in if I am on the site for about 10 minutes. I checked the error console and it told me that there is a possibility of being vulnerable. I cleared cookies and caches and also changed my password and restarted, but it's not helping. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I also got the vulnerability error for Delicious bookmarks, so I disabled it. I'm on a Mac with the latest upgrade.

I clicked on Firefox's "save password" on a blogsite, now I can't "comment" on that site, I'm caught in a loop, keep getting logged out of that site when I try to comment, but not a problem when I try Explorer.

When I navigate to the page to view comments and leave a comment myself, the comments appear but the link to leave a comment is missing, and my username and password is pre-populated in those fields (presumable by the Firefox "save password" program)on that "comment" page. When I click "submit" to log in again, I am logged in but redirected back to the front page. When I click on the page that allows me to leave a comment, I get kicked out again. I'm caught in a loop.
I do not have this problem when I exit Firefox and open Internet Explorer and go to that blog site, although the username and password fields are automatically populated when I type the first digit of my username, probably because Firefox is still operating in the background on my computer.
I tried clearing two hours of recent history, as that was the timeline when I clicked on "Save Password" from the pop up box, but it didn't help.

every time i try to open my ichat it keeps logging in and out until i can't login any more.

Try logging on to AIM on port 443 rather than port 5190.
Go to IChat in the menu bar > Preferences > Accounts.
Log out of AIM and then use the Server Settings tab
Set the port to 443.
Log back in again.

Does anyone know why I am continually logged out of the system when trying to work. I've tried using different browsers but am logged out every2 minutes or so & have to sign back in. Specifically, it logs me out when i switch windows to work with Dreamweaver.

Does anyone have an idea why my skype (desk top program) signs me out when I open Outlook in a web browser to check my email? I've searched and searched and can't find a setting to undo this behavior. It has only started today.

This is happening to me and a friend. Neither of us can use the Skype plugin for Outlook, and when I attempt to sign in to chat in Outlook, the Skype client is logged out. No Skype icon appears in "conneced to" (the only thing that does appear is Messenger), and Skype is not listed under neither "connected accounts" nor the list of apps that are able to link with Outlook. Clearly, since the browser instance does disconnect the client automatically, there is still something in the browser which does attempt to connect to Skype, but it is not at all functioning like intended.
For the record, my friend and I both prefer to run the browser plugin over the client because the client takes up far too much CPU. This issue over the last couple of days has made that impossible, leaving me to find Outlook mostly useless (since I created that account specifically because of Skype's ability to hook into it).

Please help after I had a software update I can't log back in unless I use the safe mode . Every time I log in i get the blue screen and then back to the log in screen . Any advise . I do not want to do another install and lose all my stuff .

While logged in with safe mode try repairing permissions and see if that helps.
