Recently the system would not recognized my apple ID/password, so I simply clicked on "forgot" and reset it. Weird, but it happened. Now everything works fine, except I keep getting prompts from Contacts, Mail and iCloud informing me that iCloud doesn't recognize my ID (email) or it just can't connect. Wonder what this is all about? Everything works, but these prompts are driving me nuts!

Try going to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in. See if that stops the prompts for your password.
(This deletes the account and iCloud data from your Mac, but not from iCloud. Your data will download back to your Mac when you sign back in.)

I tried updating Firefox and that didn't work. All I could find was that it could be a proxy thing, but I'm set to "no proxy" in my network settings so I'm stumped.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Fine, but if wifi is off or not connected, then it won't work. That's always one thing to check.
Another issue is when routers are not registered with their location. Home routers occassionally have this problem (usually the ISP doesn't provide the "web" (where locations are stored in a database) with the data). One test is to try locating your device when connected to a public wifi service (a coffee shop, etc.).

Everytime I go onto the ICloud page it shows my old email and requires the password, but I can't exactly type in a password because that won't work. I can't find a way to change my email or delete ICloud.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. To change it on your iPhone you have go to Settings>iCloud and delete the account, then set it up again with your new credentials. When you delete the account from your phone it will delete any data you are syncing with iCloud (such as contacts and calendars) from your phone but it will remain in iCloud. Provided your are signing back into your existing account and not changing to a new account, it will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.

Did you change the assigned email address of your account before you tried to change it on the iPad? If yes then you would have to change the ID back to the old email address, then sign out, then change it back to the new address and then sign in again.

My son let one of his friends use his ipad. The next time he tired to use it he could not get it unlocked, I tired to unlock it but it kept telling me that I had the wrong pass code. With out me knowing my son continued to tire until it completely disabled it self.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

First, I suggest you limit the subject line of your question to a few words which will help someone identify the problem you are encountering. Putting the entire question there looks as though you are shouting.
It would help anyone to identify your problem if you were to say what video codec (file format) you are using, and describe the method you are using in your attempts to export it.
You could also list any relevant error messages you encounter.
What version of FCP X are you using?
All these things will make it easier for people to help you.

Do you have access to an Apple Store? If so, make an appointment at the genius bar and show them the problem and maybe ask them to run a hardware test. Since you just reinstalled the OS, that should rule out a software issue.
It can be hard to troubleshoot over the phone. It may be easier to find the problem if someone can look at your Mac in person and see what it is doing.

The keyboard doesn't normally play any role in Apple apps regarding spellcheck. That is determined by system prefs/keyboard/text/spelling. Go the setup item at the bottom of the list and make sure that British English and Spanish are the only two boxes checked, and then set it to Automatic. How well it works varies a lot. You may also need to check Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar.
If you are still using Pages 4, spellcheck is determined by Inspector > Text > More > Language. Make sure that is set to the right thing for what you want to do.

I don't think that this will work but try this first.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Restoring the device may be what you will have to do, but two more things that you can try first are to restore from a backup if you have one....

You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If none of these things work , you should probably restore the iOS software, but backup your iPad first per the instructions and restore from the backup at the end of the process.
