I signed on with another computer to my account so I know its working .. any thoughts?? Please help

    Hey Cassblue21,
Thanks for the question, and great troubleshooting so far. While you may have already attempted most of the steps outlined in this article, I wished to provide it to you just in case you missed something. The article includes great isolation steps to determine if the issue is user-specific, or system-wide. Once you have isolated the issue, a few solutions are offered:

It seems it occurred after an app update last night.  I have connected my help desk they have reported it Skype.  Skype does not provide phone assistance.

Need a bit of help ,computer keeps saying "itunes has stopped working " and then "a problem has caused prog to stop working etc" when i follow links nothing happens and the same info comes up.Please help.

This Apple article will help you isolate the problem a little -> iTunes for Windows Vista or Windows 7: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues
Does iTunes start in Safe Mode?
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interfence with plug-ins or scrpits not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down the Shift and Control keys while opening iTunes. If performed correctly, you should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
After clicking Continue, determine whether the issue you were experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
It would also be helpful if you can provide the Error Report from the Windows Action Center Reliabilty History. To view this go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Action Center > View Reliability History under Maintenance. Double click the iTunes critical event and copy it into your reply.

  • Why am I continually getting "Firefox has stopped working" messages?

Seems like constantly, several times a day, I receive the message "Firefox has stopped working" and that Microsoft or Windows is searching for the problem, and then it shuts down. When I open Firefox again, it takes me right back where I left off, with another open window. Also, since running an update a week or so ago, every time I click to open another site I get hit with the "Do you want Mozilla to allow this change?" That didn't happen before. Both are very annoying. I also lost my RoboForm toolbar unless I juggle back and forth the "Full Page" setting after dropping down the open menu bars. I am not, by any means, a computer whiz, so most of the help FAQs are written above my knowledge of computers level. Now when I just clicked "Automatically add" Troubleshooting info, at the bottom of this page, I got a pop up that said " Firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on this computer". Now I'm really lost! I don't want to reset back to Default because I'll never get back the settings I currently have.

Regarding the message about allowing a change, is there more information about what the change is?
You have quite a few plugins, and they might not all be necessary. To minimize the influence of add-ons while you're troubleshooting this problem, I suggest the following.
Open the Add-ons page using either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
    * Set unrecognized or rarely used plugins to "Never Activate"
    * Consider setting "player" type plugins such as QuickTime, Silverlight, and Shockwave Flash to "Ask to Activate" so that sites cannot run them automatically. As you discover sites you want to allow to run the player every time, you can click the notification icon in the address bar (looks like a small Lego block) and give permission there.
In the left column, click Extensions.
    * Remove unrecognized extensions, or disable them
    * Disable rarely used extensions (for example, you don't use it daily)
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Hopefully this will help keep Firefox more stable.

  • Anyone else keep getting "iTunes has stopped working" pop-up ever since the last update?

Recently iTunes had issued a fix to the problem they were having with music stuttering during playback. I installed the update and no more stuttering.
Ever since installing that update (iTunes 12.1.1.4 (64-bit), however, I keep getting a "iTunes has stopped working" pop-up, and it closes down. This is constantly happening to me. I uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it, and it is still happening quite often.
Hopefully Apple is aware of this, and will issue yet another update.
Has anyone else experienced this too, or is it just me?

    Hi Wi_Writer,
Are you getting the iTunes error message when you connect a device to iTunes or only during playback with a connected device?  The resource below provides some additional troubleshooting steps for this scenario.

  • When iTunes closes I get " iTunes has Stopped Working message"?

iTunes works and runs fine on my Vista Ultimate system, however, every time I close iTunes I get a message stating that iTunes has stopped working. I havn't noticed any functionality loss, it's just that the dialog box is annoying. I just did a recent clean install of my Vista OS. Was the same way on last two versions of iTunes. Ran and installed Windows updates, reinstalled iTunes and Quicktime. Created and additional user and same message for that user.
Running Norton 360, Ghost 12, Logitech 518 mouse G15 Keyboard, and software is Nero 7 ultra, Pinnacle Studio 11, PowerDVD 7, Call of Duty: UO.
    Any suggestions?
    ty

    Hi,
    I experience a similar issue.
iTunes runs fine, and I can sync my nano as I did on XP.
When I listen to music through my Airtunes device, music streams just fine,
but when I close iTunes, I get the "Stopped working"-message.
If I change back so I listen on the computer instead, and then close iTunes, everything closes just fine without the error.
The error is reported as follows in Event Viewer:
Faulting application iTunes.exe, version 7.4.3.1, time stamp 0x46f9e539, faulting module iTunes.exe, version 7.4.3.1, time stamp 0x46f9e539, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x001227ac, process id 0x1348, application start time 0x01c80b73fd90b27c.
Do you also use AirTunes when you get the error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Since upgrading to 4.0, get "Firefox has stopped working" message constantly.

Just upgraded to 4.o yesterday and now it constantly crashes. I can navigate no more than 2-3 pages before I get the message "Firefox has stopped working" and the session shuts down. How can I go back to a previous version of Firefox? Or do I just revert back to using IE, which works fine?

Did you try to disable plugins as well?

  • Keep getting SyncServer has stopped working

I have a new 16gig iPhone 3GS, when i plug it in to my PC I get a popup that says SyncServer has stoped working followed by an iTunes message that says "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later". Thought at first it was my new iphone but does the same thing with my daughters 8Gig iPhone 3G. I have uninstalledd/reinstall/repaired iTunes, updated USB drivers, and done everything else the help & FAQ's have recomended. Anyone got any other ides?

Hey all... I too have been having this same problem for weeks... After reading many threads in different forums I found my solution...
It may or may not work for you depending on your system. However this solution from posts from others have worked for these systems.
Windows Vista 32 & 64 bit versions, Windows 7, Those using Mobile Me and Office.
Here is what we were told to do and it worked. Just passing it on for others to attempt to see if it fixes your problems too.
    Here is what we did.
You must copy TWO files from one folder to another.... It seems that these were placed in the wrong folder or they were left out of the last update.
I'm using VISTA so my files are in Program Files(x86) not the
regular Program Files folder... Make adjustments for the system you are using.
    Go to > COMPUTER
    C: drive
    PROGRAM FILES(x86)
    COMMON FILES
    APPLE
APPLE APPLICATION SUPPORT +(ie: get the files from this location)+
Copy these two files... libxml2.dll and libtidy.dll
    Then go PASTE them Here:
    Go to > COMPUTER
    C: drive
    PROGRAM FILES(x86)
    COMMON FILES
    APPLE
MOBILE DEVICE SUPPORT +(Paste the two files in here)+
This helped all of us.... Maybe this will be your fix too.
    Hope it helps...
