Keep getting spam, no way to block/report user

I keep getting spam messages from *edited for privacy*. I can remove from contacts but then they just show right back up, and when I right click on their name there is no option to block/report. I have the setting Only allow people in my contact list to contact me selected.

I registered today to report the exact same thing...
It is a serios flaw/error in this new merge, and one that in no way should have been launched in its current state.
I have seen other threads, from nearly 6 months ago, reporting the same error, and the reply was that maybe a solution is coming.... soon.... maybe....
It is freaking me out and destrying my work day as I use skype for work. And constant popups from spam mongers are really frustrating...

Keep getting Firefox crash msg. Crash reports submitted for 2 days

For 2 days I have been unable to access Firefox. I keep getting a popup stating Firefox had a problem and crashed. A crash report has been sent via the popup about 4 times. No crash ID has been given, just a msg that the report was submitted.

Can you use the original email address where the crash reports are supposed to be sent to report the abuse?
My point was that if you had access to the original messages claiming to come from you, you could do something about it by sending copies to an anti-spam or anti-abuse organization. If someone sends messages to someone else claiming to come from you, you do not have access to those messages.

Using my icould account I feel my email address has been sold to spammers. My macbookpro send the spam to junk just fine, but I keep getting all the spam on my iphone. How can I prevent this? Thanks

Im having exactly the same issue. Spoken with Verizon a lot out it. They've recomended the "type STOP" and they've looked into getting the number off of whatever spam subcription its on. So far no dice.
I just got the number and phone a few weeks ago so It's nothing I did. They think it's left over from whom ever had the number last.
I think my final resort will be just insisting that they change my number. I forward the number to Google Voice so no one will miss me if I change the number anyway; it just ***** that you have to go through all this crap. From what i can tell it's happening to alot of people but not enough for it to be on verizons radar.

Keep getting Error on iTunes, token for this user has expired

My sister keeps getting this on her iTunes, Something about AOL Account, It used to be my computer, I never had an AOL Account, just an Apple ID.
It crashes after the message, It askes for Username and password but the "Beach Ball" comes up and iTunes crashes!! I seen a thread like this on here, but can't find it, Any help would be great

Just to update this, I was able to connect with Adobe by phone and resolve the problem. The guy on the phone was much more helpful than my two previous attempts to contact Adobe by their online chat.
The guy had me repeat the steps outlined in Solution 3 in the document that Bill refers to, however we also did the additional step of running a program called Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool. That program removed the files from my system that were preventing Photoshop from running.

I keep getting the message for AOL mail on iphone 6+ that the user name or password is incorrect even though they are correct. This occurred suddenly for no reason.

Try deleting and reinstalling the email account.

Keep getting spam email from Apple

So far 7 times I get an email about my iCloud is almost full. There is no unsubscribe option at the bottom of the message.

I can understand the constant emails can be frustrating. If you think that your storage is getting full, take a look at the first article to help curb that back. If all looks good and you are not even close to being full, check where the email came from to actually see if it came from Apple. To inspect that, look to the second article for assistance.

Board Options keep getting in the way

When you change from one forum to another, the logical 'path' for the mouse-cursor goes over the 'Board Options' menu, or when going into a post, it goes over the 'Thread Options', both of which apparently function as 'OnMouseOver'.
Could this be changed into 'OnClick'?
I find it very irritating to see those options pop up every time I change forum or go into a post!

that was getting on my nerves as well, I finally found this option in Profile-Personal Preferences; "Enable Menu Bar Drop Down on Mouse Over ". You need to disable it.

My iphone keeps getting stuck half way through restoring

when i was out last night i put a password on my iphone, ive woken up this morning not knowing what it is! so i tried to restore it to my itunes which i backed it up with last week but is only restoring for the first 5 mins (only going a quarter of the way) now i cannot even turn my phone back on. i have the most recent version of itunes and all cables are connected properly - need urgent help!

Firefox updates keep getting blocked

i keep getting a "firefox update was blocked" notice.

i've checked as much as i am capable of to no avail.

whenever i get this notice, i reload firefox just because and still get these notices.
i am running Trend PC Cillan. i have no proxy settings.

I keep getting spam from people on Yahoo! Instant Messenger. The only solutions I can find on Google involve downloading the official Y!IM client and using that to block the person (add to the ignore list).

You can in the Yahoo for Mac app (This has been in Beta for literally years)
It seems that the iChat and Messages Beta Yahoo part is a sort of Bolt-On (it is actually a Plug-in) that does Text Chatting only and not much else (it can go Invisible)
It seems it lacks some other functions that the Yahoo for Mac App has such as blocking people.

This is generally handled by your e-mail provider, not your e-mail reader.
For example, I use Gmail and it filters spam before it ever gets to my inbox. If something does get through, I can move it to the spam folder on my iPhone to report it as spam.

Here's what happened: Last week, Adobe updated the way they report the Flash version (not Firefox version but the version of Flash) as part of a Flash update. It seems that Yahoo Mail didn't update their code to check correctly and so it looks like (to them) that Flash isn't working (they can see that you have it installed but the version check code doesn't work).
