Keep getting the latest Firefox (3.6.6) update installation request. Each time I follow instructions exactly but I keep getting the same Firefox dialog box asking for 3.6.6 to be installed - from scratch. 6 times already...tiring...what's happening?
A dialog from Firefox keeps popping up on my screening requesting that I update to 3.6.6...which I've done at least 6 starts ( yes, I restart Firefox)...
Doesn't seem to stick...just got another dialog window requesting me to update...it's tiring...what's happening?

Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

That would be the password for your FTP server. You can only get this from your web hosting company. You should contact your web hosting company and ask them for your FTP Publishing details.
Then select your web site name at the top of the list of web pages in iWeb. You'll see input fieldd for your FTP details. Enter what you get from your web hosting provider in those fields. -
I just installed the latest version of iTunes to my pc w/Windows 8. Seemed to install fine. Purchased a bunch of songs from the iTunes store. Nothing will play. I click the song, the speaker icon comes on next t the song, but it doesn't begin to play. Cannot figure out what is wrong. Any suggestions?

Recently upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.2 and keep getting dialog boxes from different apps asking to access my keyahain. I've included 2 screenshots. I have no idea what is causing this. Thanks for any help.

When try to install get a dialog box asking for admin account even though current account is admin
i'm logged into an account that has admin privledges. when i try to install FIrefox 5.0.1 get a "Run as" dialog box. when continue with current account or any other admin account the install quits with no warnings or messages of any kind.

Any help is welcomeStill struggling to understand why copying the entire root dir to a disk image and then restoring from that image did not, as expected, yield an identical system, and why I even had to reinstall after doing this.
Because there is a lot more going on under the hood than merely copying files.
The only way to do what you want is to use cloning software like Carbon Copy Cloner.
My advice is to rescue your personal files to a regular non-TimeMachine external drive, Zero erase the ENTIRE drive and install OS X fresh and update, then your programs from original sources and files from backup.
Then, make a bootable clone and you can copy that as many times as you want and each one is bootable.

I keep getting the message when I open Muse CC, that the latest version is here and that i need to download it... But when i click "Download Latest Version" and it takes me to the applications manager it tell me that Muse is "Up to date"..... After downloading the latest version of iTunes and updating my iPhone, everytime I turn on my computer I receive a message that reads: "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found. Yes. I just solved the problem on my PC. Here goes...
Issue: My Windows7 computer was producing the pop up box with the error text as you described.
The Problem: You have another application on your computer that uses the like named .DLL file... in this case a DLL supporting SQLite on your local PC.
Solution:
1. You need to use the Windows File search feature to look for the name "SQLite". This will quickly locate the offending DLL in the other application.
2. Decide which program you like the most, in my case "Mobile Me", and uninstall the offending application.
3. Uninstall Mobile Me.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Reinstall Mobile Me.
6. Mobile Me should sync at this point, but if not, restart the PC once again.
In my case, the offending program was my Aptana Studio development application. I had recently the SQLite3 database to my Ruby On Rails configuration...
This is where the file was located:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Aptana Studio 2.0\plugins\com.aptana.radrails.sqlite3.win32_3.5.7.1278709071\vendor\SQLite3.d ll

After updating iOS 8.0, I only see a black screen on my iPad 4 asking for a 4 digits passcode, I've tried severeal times and now every time I try I get this message "Ipad dissable wait 60 min... I do not know what to do???

It sounds like you’ve recently updated your iPad and now it’s disabled because the passcode you’re entering isn’t being accepted. I can imagine that would be frustrating. Take a look at the article linked below, it describes the alert you’re seeing and provides the possible resolutions for that issue.

I had a 'dead' iMac repaired and it needed a new HDD and graphics card, the repairer installed OSX 10.6.8 and i now need to install other software but I am being asked for 'User' password so I may do this, I have no idea what this will be. can anybody help please?

Every time I open firefox4 a dialog box asking me to take a tour,etc opens. How can I stop that.
You will get them on IE. I suggest you also contact Google support, as this is also a problem on their end. I too have everything set to Google on both Firefox, Opera, IE, and Chrome and the only one not getting the annoying banners is surprising Google Chrome.

Hi everyone. I have a iPod nano 5th gen and every time I charge it, it comes up with the apple sign. It just won't turn on. I can restart it but it goes to the apple again. Is there a way I could get it replaced? I did win it in a game at penrith bowling .Any thoughts????????
