Keep getting this error: CE-34788-0
Hi. I have replaced the HDD, which comes with the PS4 with a PS4 SSD. The problem is, when I go to the safe mode and tries to reinstall the system software with the update on my USB stick, it just gives me this error after a few seconds: CE-34788-0. What I can see on this page: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5111 the solution is to redownload the update file and save it to the USB stick again, at the location PS4 → UPDATE. I have now downloaded the file 3-4 or maybe 5 times, and it keeps giving me the same error. I have even formatted the USB stick just to be sure, but that didn't work either. I downloaded the update from UK's website, as I am based in Denmark and am not able to find the update page on the danish website. I would be happy, if anyone could help me out here.
Only now it the console wants to see version 2.03....!! I have downloaded the larger file for hdd swap and the console tells me it wants version 2.03.... I have also downloaded the latest ps4 software 2.03 to a USB stick. I have replaced my original ps4 500gig hdd with a 2TB hdd. when i go into safe mode and Initialise PS4 (Reinstall System Software) I get the message ‘The update file cannot be used. Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 2.03 or later. (CE-34788-0)’ However, if I select 'Update System Software' in Safe Mode the console tells me 'The Following version of the System software is available: Version 2.03 If I do this update the 'Update System Software' way with the original hdd in, it works fine. If I try it with the new hdd in i get 'A Serious Error has occured. Contact Technical Support for assistance. (CE-30785-3) If I also try refitting the original hdd and go into safe mode and Initialise PS4 (Reinstall System Software) I get the same message ‘The update file cannot be used. Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 2.03 or later. (CE-34788-0)’ What is going on...? i Know the update software is fine as it will accept it if I select 'Update System Software' with the original hdd in place. So now I seem unable to upgrade my hdd while this problem is present.... Any Ideas please....??

Nobody can tell you anything without knowing exact site and server specs, but I would suspect that naming the folder "html" wasn't the brightest of ideas, since that's usually a default (invisible) folder name existing somewhere on the server and the user not having privileges to overwrite it.

Initially iTunes would not run although it had been running quite well up until now. Suddenly received this error on PC start-up "The program can't start because MSVC80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Research on Net pointed me to iTunes as the issue. Tried to start iTunes and received that message again. Tried installing latest version of 64-bit iTunes and received the subject message part way through the install: Trying to install latest iTunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Keep getting this error message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
iTunes has been running great on this PC for years. What's up?

I keep getting this error message: ITunes was unable to load data class information from Synch Services. Reconnect or try again later. What does that mean? Can I fix it? or do I have to wait for the next update?

My hard drive fried and had to be replaced. I'm trying to install CS4 from my original discs but keep getting this error message - "One or more of the required components of Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard failed to install correctly". A customer service rep gave me a link to download off the Adobe site, but when I try to open the file to run it, I get this error message - "A problem occurred extracting the archive".
Can anyone help?Yep. Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI. I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column. Now it's just blank. Link to screenshot below:

Note the install date. That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it. Now I can't even do that. I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller. It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it? It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd. -

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong application, namely Adobe Premiere Elements.

I am trying to download the latest 10.0 itunes, however I keep getting this error message. I have a new iphone 4s so when I plugged it into the laptop it said i need to uninstall and reinstall the latest itunes.
I contacted support which they advised me to uninstall the itunes on my dell laptop, which I have done however I keep getting the same error message. "An error occured during the assembly "Microsoft VC80.CRT, version =8.0.50727.4053",type ="win32",publickey Tokens="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",process orArchitecture="x86". These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 800736fd, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?) -

first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:

mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I keep getting this error when trying to backup time capsule with time machine. The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data-1/Dan’s iMac.sparsebundle” is already in use.
Make sure that no other Macs are backing up at the time.
Pull the power cable from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cable back into the back of the Tme Capsule
Wait a few minutes, then try a backup again. -

On my Mac Mini, I keep getting this error message: "iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". I don't have any problems with iCloud on my laptop / PC. It works fine... Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Your Mac must be on Lion (10.7) to run iCloud. Apple had to change the operating system to fully support it. Nevertheless, it is possible to get emails from iCloud without having Lion. Please tell me if this interests you.
