what more do you need to know? i get this message "Script: chrome://vidbar/content/downloader.js:117" and the browser is useless until i restart.

I was having the exact same problem while browsing some sites (Google news, Google image search, Youtube).
It was caused by the "Screenshot Pimp" extension. I uninstalled it and all is OK now.
It looks like this extension packs a lot of "generic" code that is not used by the extension but could be used by other extensions from the same publisher (Mediapimp).
So if you have this extension try removing it (not just disabling it). If you don't, look for other extensions like viddownloader, Youtube downloader, Video downloader, Mediapimp, etc. and remove them one by one until your browser is back to normal.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.) -
As of today, I can no longer or Excel. I get this message: You can’t open the application “Microsoft Excel” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported. Is there a fix for this and why ha this all of the sudden happened. I've rebooted twice and that hasn't worked.
The application may be corrupt. Un-install and re-install Office.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

I've made sure a dozen times that my home page is set correctly, and when I hit the home button next to the search bar it works and takes me right to google BUT whenever i open a new tab i get the error that my page cannot load and the web url that it keeps trying to remember is in the error message:

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Anyone get this message in Safari? Using the Merrill Lynch site
This is totally random. Using the Merrill Lynch financial site. Logged into my account.
In getting stock quotes throughout the day. Then some days I get this error in Safari-
Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
And I can't get any quotes any longer.
Merrill Lynch say they haven't any idea. But to me the words used in the message sound so PC geek speak.
I have tried emptying cache in Safari. I also set the default database to off. To 5MB. To 10MB. Nothing works from my end in Safari.
I really feel it is a bug in the Merrill Lynch site. But thought I would post here just in case someone else has experienced this?
And this only happens getting stock quotes on Merrill Lynch. And the rest of the Merrill Lynch site works fine throughout the day. Just stock quotes.

Firefox is a very busy piece of software. It's using large amounts of CPU time and disk access. It puts my usage at low priority, so I have to wait for some time to be able to use my pointer or keyboard. I don't know what it uses all that CPU and disk access time for, but it's of no use to me. It often takes off with massive use of resources when I'm not doing anything, and I may not have use of my pointer for several minutes. How can I shut down most of this so I can use the browser to get my work done. I just want to use the web site access part of the software, and drop all the extra. I don't want Firefox to be able to recover after a crash. I just want to browse with a minimum of interference from Firefox. I would think that this is the most commonly asked question.

I was trying to customize my page but then Firefox became completely unavailable. It only gives this message, along with 'trouble finding page': Firefox can't find the file at place:sort=8&maxResults=10. I tried rebooting and then reinstalling Firefox but the same message recurs. I can only get to the web now by using Internet Explorer which I don't like. But I may have to switch to it anyway.
