Keep Losing Airport Security Setting Password, What Could Be Wrong?

My wireless security setting (wpa2personal)) password is gone whenever I start up, restart or wake from sleep. Airport security reads "none", and I have to reconfigure it with a password again.
What could be the problem?

Have you tried deleting that connection & making a new one?
There a more than a few files that handle it, one may be corrupted, try dragging these to the desktop & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.networkConnect.<12 digit number>.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.internetconnect.plist
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
Lots of prefs in that b3rd one, so hang on to it in case you want to put it back.

SMTP is the protocol used to send mail, where IMAP and POP are the protocols used to receive mail. ISPs can have different servers for these protocols.
In this case, the specified receiving (IMAP or POP) server, or the receiving user and password credentials, are likely incorrect.
What does the Connection Doctor diagnostic tool report?
Mail.app's Window menu > Connection Doctor
To check or change the settings, select Mail.app's Mail menu > Preferences... > Accounts and select the account you need to edit in the left column.
The receiving information will be displayed for the selected Account, with either POP or IMAP shown. Confirm with the ISP that your POP or IMAP mail settings are correct per the ISP's recommendations, as well. And in general, IMAP is preferable to POP, if you have the option of using either of those with your ISP.

Hi Jo,
If I'm interpreting this correctly, the Word file downloads correctly, but when you open it in Pages, the link(s) which your instructor has embedded in the Word file are not correctly translated into Pages.
If the link shows the actual address, you should be able to copy that and paste it into the location bar in Safari, press return, and get to the website that way.
An alternate route might be to download one of the open source Office applications, OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice, or NeoOffice. These are written to more closely emulate the behaviours of MS Word than Pages, and may provide better support for links embedded in Word files.

My MacBook keeps restarting - what could be wrong?

I have a MacBook 1.1 (Intel Core Duo) running OS X 10.4.11.
Over the last few days my laptop has been restarting itself for no apparent reason while I am working. This happens both when I am online and offline. This morning, instead of simply restarting, it suddenly showed me a black box with a warning in several languages telling me that I had to restart, which I did.
I have verified my disk and repaired disc permissions using Disc Utility - nothing seems to be wrong. And so far as I can know I have not done anything strange to the computer lately. What could be wrong, please? After the restarts the system functions quite normally for several hours - until the next restart!

I'm having the exact same problem since installing the new security, itunes, and quicktime updates too! My computer has me restart it at least once a day if not more ever since I installed them. I'm always only using like Firefox, iPhoto, iTunes, etc. Nothing major. Today my computer wouldn't start at all. I had to renew the PRAM or whatever it's called just to get it to come on, and it has since made me restart twice.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

What could be wrong with this resolveNodes / for script?

Hello, I am stumped and would greatly appreciate some help here.
I have a table that has the ability to add additional rows.
Each row includes a "delete" button to clear the row.
I'd like to hide the "delete" button when another button is clicked.
There are a variable amount of rows at any given time, so I can't target the button directly.
I have used the "for" method before, but it doesn't seem to be able to find the nodes in this case.
My hierarchy looks like this:
form1
- productSubform
- - productJobTable
- - - productJobRow
- - - - deleteBtn
my Javascript looks like this:
var nodes = form1.productSubform.productJobTable.resolveNodes("productJobRow[*]");
var len = nodes.length;
for(var i = 0; i < len; i++) {

I can see other discs such as music and stuff so I know I have installed it correctly but how come I can't see the blank disc that I need to burn?

You can't burn discs remotely, you can only read data discs remotely (i.e. you cannot play movie DVDs either).
Either copy the files to the remote computer or get an external drive.
