Keep losing iCal on MacBook Pro

Since Mountain Lion update, iCal keeps - at what seems to be random, but frequent, times - dropping my calendar accounts and I have to keep entering my name and password in preferences to re-add it. Has anyone else had this problem? It is fine on iPhone 4S and iPad 2... is ONLY on my MBP??

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Apple magic mouse keeps losing connection with Macbook pro

I have a 2012 macbook pro, after upgrading to Mavericks(10.9.1, not have any other 3rd party software,just pure OS X), my magic mouse always losing bluetooth connection suddenly every one or two days. When losing connection, I found the bluetooth chipset type showing in macbook system information changed to unkown (FFFF). I have contacted with apple global support, and also have not gotten the solution. Just cleaning cache, and ect. but still didn't work.
When I downgrading the OS X to 10.8.5 Mountain Lion, same macbook, same magic mouse, work very well. Never happened lose connection issue during one and a half month. So, it should be a Mavericks bluetooth driver's issue, or something reletived.
Any body have some good idea in solving this issue?

I have the same problem with a 2007 MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. As soon as I changed the mouse's batteries, it started losing connection every few seconds. The mouse came with Energizer batteries originally - they supposedly don't fit well, but the mouse worked fine. I exchanged them with Duracell, which gave problems. Now I have Varta batteries installed, they give problems too. The paper-trick doesn't work for me.
Quite franky, I think it's rediculous that a fancy €69,- wireless mouse is so fussy about batteries. It's impossible to work with it. Is this just another way for Apple to get people to buy their batteries? I think a mouse this expensive should accept any and all batteries. Please, Apple: fix it. Seems like a really simple matter. Just put longer and stronger springs in the contacts for the negative poles.

Why does my Adobe Audition keep crashing on my MacBook Pro? I've updated everything, and there are no other issues. It is OS X and Audition CS6. When I'm mixing a track, it will just shut down with a crash notice. Very frustrating.

What is the crash notice you receive? OS X is very good about keeping extensive, detailed crash logs. If you launch Applications > Utilities > Console.app and open the "User Diagnostic Reports" group on the left, can you drag the most recent Audition crash report into an e-mail to [email protected] ? The contents of that file should make it more clear to us why Audiiton or the OS thinks a crash is happening and will help focus troubleshooting.

Wifi keeps dropping out on MacBook Pro after installing Yosemite. This is not good. Apparently, a lot of people are having this issue with Yosemite. Any suggestions for my MacBook Pro? It's bad enough that Yosemite looks so boring, but to have a major issue like constantly disconnecting from wifi is deplorable.
I plan to keep Mavericks on my iMac until this issue is resolved.

Internet Keeps Dropping on my Macbook Pro Retina

Recently on my Macbook Pro Retina, the internet keeps losing its connection. I've had this computer for a while and everything was fine until recently. I didn't change any settings and everything is fully up to date.
The scenario goes like this, I would be surfing a site and all the sudden it just stops working. The wifi signal is very strong and when I turn the wifi off and then turn it back on, its works perfect again for a while. I am not sure whats wrong, please help!

Exporting iCal to MacBook Pro

I have an iMac at home and a MacBook Pro that we use while traveling. When I try to export my calendar data from the iMac to the macBook Pro I get duplicate entries for items that had already been in that calendar. I have tried to restore a backed up file but it won't seem to do that on the other computer. Is Mobile me my only option?

Just a guess...
You could try synchronizing each through a third party, such as either a smart phone or a web site, such as Google Calendar...although I'm not sure if there's a problem synchronizing the device or web page with more than one calendar or not.
Or, if you only use iCal on the MBP for traveling, you could abandon iCal and just use Google Calendar synchronized with your iMac and use the web based calendar.

Appointment time on iPhone 4 different from iCal on MacBook Pro

The appointments in my iPhone calendar are one hour earlier than the appointments in iCal on my MacBook Pro. Is this a bug in the daylight savings time logic?

Wifi keeps disconnecting on my Macbook Pro.

Macbook Pro (Mid-2012) Which I purchased 4 months ago.
It keeps dropping the signal about every 5 minutes, only on my home network. It's only this device too, since my phone and all of my roomates' devices are unphased. (streaming videos like it's no big deal)
This started happening after we lost connectivity with the snow a few days ago here in Seattle. I have tried all sort of toubleshooting, including the DNS thingy and restarting the router.
It does not have this problem when I am at work, school, or elsewhere.
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to assist!

What do you get for PHY mode?
What Channel?
What RSSI?
What Transmit Rate?
And, How many other Networks do you see?

Why does my safari keep freezing on my macbook pro.

I purchased the 13-inch Macbook Pro in 2011. I have OS X 10.7.5. My Safari keeps freezing. Could someone please give me some advise on how to fix this.

ICal on MacBook Pro will not receive dates from iPhone, but iPhone will receive dates from iCal on MacBook

I recently got a MacBook Pro after having an iPhone and iPad since last year. I have iCloud set up on all devices to share calendar dates. However, when I input an event on iCal on the MacBook everything is fine and the event shows up on my iPhone and iPad calendars, but when I input an appointment on my iPhone, it will not update to the iCal on MacBook.
Help please?

ICal on macbook pro won't sync iCal events from iPhone 5

I've synced/backed up my iPhone 5 with iTunes within the past hour.
After it finished, I went onto iCal on my macbook pro and saw that it didn't have events my iPhone 5 had.
So then I went to settings and changed the iCloud settings so that it would back up iCal.
But even after that, it took too long to back up and it failed at backing it up.
So I googled how long iCloud takes to back up and realized that the more I had for it to back up, the longer it takes.
Now I'm down to 500-something mb for iCloud to back up. It's still taking a long time.
THEN I googled to see if anyone else has had any problems with syncing iCal.
There was one person who deleted iTunes 11.0.1 and downgraded to the 10 version.
Is there any way for me to sync/backup my iCal on my macbook pro with iCal events from my iPhone 5, vice versa?

Your signature says you have 10.3.x but presumably this can't be correct - could you please make sure it's correct to prevent confusion. 10.7.2 is required for iCloud - your Mac won't be able to sync with pre-Lion systems.
The fact that you have iCloud accounts showing does suggest you have Lion: are they showing in System Preferences>iCloud, or where? You can only enter one there.
Are the two different or the same? You could try deleting both and then starting the setup again from scratch.

The power cord keeps falling of my MacBook Pro?

I love my new MacBook Pro but the power cord keeps falling off and it's driving me a little crazy. It's already been replaced once so that's not the problem. If anyone has any suggestions, besides duct tape, please let me know?

Denise, the new magsafe 2 has a weaker neodymium magnet, its designed that way.
formerly too many people in coffee shops etc etc were getting their macbooks yanked to the floor on accident.
Its new design is weaker for good reason.
if it keeps coming loose youre using if your lap or in bed,...sitting on a flat surface that woudlnt happen.
