my ipod classic has been stolen can anybody download my personal photos from it

They can, but the images will only be the small thumbnail files that are created for optimized viewing on the iPod's smaller display.  That is unless you store the images on the iPod in their full resolution.

    To transfer your photos:
Transfer and erase the Camera Roll:
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch Image Capture, iPhoto, or Aperture.
Select your iPad in the Devices list and click "Import all".
When the import finishes, you can erase the contents of the Camera Roll, if you want. That would be the quickest way, but deleting it on the iPad in the Photos.app would be safer, but more work.
Delete photos and video clips you synced to your computer using iTunes: Connect your device to your computer and, in iTunes, deselect the photos and video clips you want to remove from your device. Click Apply, and click Sync.
    Delete the Photo Stream contents:
How do I delete photos from My Photo Stream?
You can delete photos from your photo stream the same way you delete other photos from your iOS device or Mac. Just select the photos you want to remove, and tap the trash can icon or click Delete. On your PC, select the photos you want to remove from your photo stream, right-click, and then select delete. When you delete a photo from Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the Photo Stream album or view on your other devices. Learn more about deleting photos.

  • I am clearing through my phone for more memory. I want to delete some personal photos and videos of family forever, how can i do this ?. I do not want the photos or videos to be found anywhere.

I am using a Iphone 5c device on software update IOS 7.1.2. I want to delete some personal videos and photos of my family and friends and myself. I am worried that if i delete them they may still be on my itunes account or icloud account. I do not want them on any of my accounts or files anywhere, I would like them gone off of everything. How can i do this?
    Thanks in advance.

The answer is not simple. First, are these images in the Camera Roll or the Photos app? Next, do you have Photo Stream enabled? Also, do you back up your phone to your computer or to iCloud, or to both?
If you have Photo Stream enabled then the images have already been distributed to anyone who is subscribed. Nothing that I can think of that you can do about that. The rest of this post assumes that Photo Stream was never turned on.
If the images are in your Camera Roll you can delete them from the Camera app. The won't go anywhere, however, they will still be in your backups.
If you back up to your computer using iTunes you can go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab, and delete your backups. After deleting all of them, and also after you have deleted the images from the Camera Roll, do a new backup.
After deleting the backups do a Secure Delete of deleted files on your computer. On a Mac you can do this with Disk Utility; have it erase deleted files. On Windows you need to get a 3rd party "shredder" app.
If you back up to iCloud on the phone go to Settings/iCloud - Storage & backup - Manage Storage. Tap on each backup and delete it.
If you have photos in the Photos app that are NOT in the Camera Roll album you need to connect your phone to iTunes, click on the Photos tab, uncheck all of them that you don't want (or uncheck Sync Photos if you want all of them gone), then sync.
Then repeat all of the steps above.

  • How do i move photos from stream to mac?

I am tring to get the photos from strem on my iPad to my mac...frustrating...sync didn't do it...Help?

Syncing only transfers photos from your Mac to your iPad, not the other way around.  If your Mac is running OS X Lion 10.7.2 or later and you have iPhoto '11 9.4, you can enable photo stream in System Preferences>iCloud and they will stream to your Mac.  Otherwise you'll have to save the photo stream photos to your camera roll on your iPad, then import them to iPhoto as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

i would like to know how i can wipe all my personalyy info from my mac

1: The absolute best way Grade A method would be to remove the storage drive and replace with another, melt the old drive in a +1500º F kiln, or smash it to tiny bits with a sledgehammer / hydraulic press and distribute the pieces into the trash as widespread as possible.
Then hold c booting from a OS X install disk (10.6 or earlier if th emachine came with that) or hold option key booting from a 10.7 install USB ($69, no user ID associated) and install your OS onto the new drive and shutdown at the Welcome screen.
2: If you don't want to replace the drive but don't want a wealthy individual, corporation or government using special equipment to read most of your data.
Then hold c booting from a OS X install disk, (or command r booting from 10.7 Recovery) and using Disk Utility to Erase with 7x overwrite on the OS X boot partition will do. Takes many hours to complete.
There might be  small bits left in mapped off sectors, journaled drives, your basically trusting the drive makers / OS maker to erase your drive completely. Then reinstall your OS and shutdown at the Welcome screen.
3: If you don't want to replace the drive, not all that paranoid, but don't want most anyone using special software like DataRescue to read your deleted data off the drive, then hold c booting from a OS X install disk, (or command r booting from 10.7 Recovery) and using Disk Utility to Erase with Zero will do. Takes about a few hours. Then reinstall your OS and shutdown at the Welcome screen.
4: If your not the least bit concerned someone could read your deleted data, simply hold c booting from a OS X install disk, (or command r booting from 10.7 Recovery) and using Disk Utility to Erase (with Security Option will do.) Takes about a few seconds. Then quit DU, reinstall your OS and shutdown at the Welcome screen.

  • How come my Mac only shares 51 out of 500  photos from my iCloud account?

My Mac doesn't recognize my iCloud account with the exception of 51 out of 500+ photos?  How can I connect everything to iCloud.  I have gone into my iCloud settings and that doesn't seem to work.

If the contents that accumulated on the new phone while the spell of Alzheimer went away is not indispensable, perhaps the quickest way would be to reset and wipe the phone then reregister it to the original iCloud account so you would get all your old content/apps/etc. back.

  • IPhoto 6 keeps losing/dropping my photos from the thumbnail screen

I have iPhoto 6.0.6 (322), and I store my photos on a LaCie external hard drive (Mac OS Extended format). Recently, all photos taken since 2008 keep disappearing from iPhoto. The photos still exist in the iPhoto library folder, and I've followed various support suggestions, e.g., first I restarted iPhoto while holding down the option and command keys and when through the four options there, but that didn't work and then I started from scratch by renaming my iPhoto library, restarting iPhoto and importing all of the photos into a new library. Then, several days later, the photos disappear again.
I recently upgraded iPhoto according to the automatic update notices I receive. Other than that, I've done nothing differently. The only other possibility, and I'd be surprised if this were the problem, but I bought a new camera (Canon Powershot SD1200IS). I didn't install Canon's software and I do not play with the iPhoto library or do anything unusual with iPhoto -- I'm not sophisticated to do that. And, fyi, my old camera was very similar -- Canon Powershot SD1100IS. Anyone know what's going on? This is quite frustrating.

What version of iPhoto are you running? If it's iPhoto 09 then launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the last three options. See if that will help.
Next, if necessary, rebuild the library with iPhoto Library Manager as follows:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 -Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 -Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be untouched for further attempts at fixing or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Aperture only imports some of photos from my camera card.

When I put my camera card into my iMac and it opens Aperture only some o f the photos are set to import and the wheel spins endlessly.  I have to manually import from the desktop to get it to work. This happens with all of my cards. Any solutions? I've been assuming that it's something to do with Yosemite. Sometimes it does import them all but more often it doesn't.  Ron

    Shot in the dark.
Did iPhoto launch? Check iPhoto and see if they in there.
Did you put it on the right side of the dock where the stacks are? Check in Documents.
A folder with a question mark usually means the dock item is no longer connected to an application.

  • How do I transfer Personal Photos from my iPhone3gs To my PC?

Can anyone Please give me some Pointers or Sugestions?

When you plug your iPhone in via USB, your PC should ask "What do you want to do?" and come up with several options. One of them will have a camera icon, and be the option to view photos in your preferred photo viewing/editing software. Choose that and it should be self explanatory from there on.

  • I want to dump my photos from my phone onto my pc automatically, and then delete them from my phone. How do I do this?

My wife and I both have an iphone 4s. We have been taking photos, and now the space on our phones is maxed out. Is there a way for me to automatically dump the photos onto my computer, and delete photos on my phone so that I hog up the space with photos? It seems like this shouldn't be complicated, but for some reason, I can't figure out how to copy the photos to my pc, and then delete them from my phone.

Connect the phone to your computer and open whatever image capture application you have on the computer. An application you use to transfer photos from a camera to your PC should work with the iPhone. The computer will recognize the phone as a camera and allow you to copy photos to the computer, you can then keep or delete the photos from the iPhone.

  • Help, please: how can we see who Tiger mail is keeping out of email?

I just upgraded to Tiger and I'm noticing I'm getting less email; this is good when it is spam being kept out, but I think it is keeping out some mail I'd like to get... I've added all I can think of to my address book, but I need to see all the emails Tiger is keeping out. How can I do this?
    Thanks,

    iMacG5   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

A company I've worked with from the past wrote me via snail mail complaining they could no longer reach me through email as apparently they'd been blocked, but not by me. In fact, I'd temporarily forgotten all about them but because I intend to work with them again at some point, I put their address in my address book to remedy this. It got me to wondering who else might be having trouble getting through. I was hoping to sort this out somehow.
    Thanks,
