  • Blackberry 8800 receiving thousands of old emails

Hi, i am experiencing a bizarre issue where my work's blackberry is receiving thousands of old emails. Currently there are 8500 emails in the inbox! It is making the blackberry unusable because it is constantly receiving emails.
We used a Blackberry 8800 with BIS and Exchange Server 2003.
I've tried deleting the account from my Carrier's (o2) Internet Service site (which forwards all our exchange server's emails) to the blackberry but this hasn't stopped it. I have tested another email account we have on the exchange server and that has worked fine and only delivers those messages that it should do.
My carrier is saying that it is our exchange server and something specific to this email address (which it could be). Has anybody else had this or knows what to do on exchange server or with the carrier to get it resolved?
It seems as if the marker perhaps on the exchange server or the BIS that tells which messages are "new" has gone wrong and needs changing but i don't know where in Exchange Server or BIS this could be.
I've searched this and other forums and there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on it.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Matt

I am facing problems of a similar kind.
I have realized that I am kissing my emails from the yahoo account (from the inbox as well as stored emails from the folders). Some of the massages were recently stored some were stored while ago. I have contacted yahoo, they were checking the account and finally they have come to conclusion that it's most likely that the problems of loosing emails are caused by the mobile device. And it's true - this is something I didn't tell yahoo gays, but I have realized the emails are vanishing from the foleders once I was trying to reach them from my iPhone.
I am using iPhone 3GS with the lasted version of iOS 4.
If by ugrading I can restore my emails, then I would do this immediately.
What is the performance of your iPhone 3GS with iOS 5...?

  • TS2446 I'm not receiving any of these emails.

I've been sending emails asking to reset my password for my old itunes account because I have some devices that are still linked to that email, I haven't received any emails and I've sent at least 5 in the past 5 days!! I've tried to put in my birth date (I originally used my mums birthday because I was too young to do my own) and for some reason it didn't work? Any ideas? Please help me, thank you.

You can't change your birthdate (most people are only born once)
What email address is this being sent to? Do you have access to the account?
    iTunes customer support is here.

  • Keep receiving already read emails on Centro

I recently bought a Palm Centro and activated my Gmail on it. However I keep receiving the same old emails over and over, even after I have already read and deleted them. Is there also a way to make it so that when you delete and email on your phone it is not deleted on your computer? If anyone has a solution for this it'd be gladly appreciated!! =]
    Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)

It would be added to the front of your Gmail username.
For example, if your username is "xury", you'd change the setting to "recent:xury" in Versamail's account settings for your Gmail account.
I'm going by a thread like this:

You have a number of things that will make this not work.
Your mailto link is not the way to go, take a look at this and it should get you on the right path.
    http://www.paulgdesigns.com/learncontactform.php
On your action page, you can have it give the thank you message that you want.  Having a seperate page saying they forgot to do something complicates matters more than you might wish at this point, and usually irritates people. however if you decide you want to go that way, look up "sticky forms".  What this does is re-populate the fields when they have to go back to correct.
A better way would be to validate the information, you can use Spry if you want which is built into dreamweaver.
You also have in your html form this
    enctype="multipart/form-data"
That is used for sending files, and since you are not, the form would not work, so you want to remove it.
Hopefully that will give you a starting point.

  • I would like to know why ASC removed my comments and pleads saying they were rantings?  Maybe so, but if you received more than 100 emails a day, you would too! I have done all the right things to not receive these emails but to no avail. Can someone help?

For months now I have been puting up with receiving emails generated from Apple Support Communities - sometimes more than 100 a day. Needless to say I am angry.  I have done everything I have been told to do so as not to receive them BUT they still keep on coming all day and all night.  It is messing up my sytem and taking too much time out of my busy day.  When I responded to another person's same problem, I immediately received an email from Apple Support Communities telling me that they have removed my responses from Apple Support Communities!  This, after only one day, when I have been writing and requesting help to have these emails stop from cloging up my email!  Of course I am upset and now even more.
Please, if someone knows how to stop these emails from entering my box, I would really appreciate hearing.  In the meantime I continue to delete one by one.Linda166

  • I keep receiving emails regarding my My iphone-4G,

I haven't ever bought an iphone but keep receiving emails asking if i am still having problems with the phone and using the itunes store, it's from someone called  yuvaraj who claims to be  from itunes customer support and he works tuesday to saturday, i have tried to contact itunes regarding this but cannot seem to get any feed back, has anyone received these emails and are they bogus and if so what to do about them.
    Many thanks.

What is the return address of the sender, his email address? Have you bothered to check? Is the email asking for money or personal information? If the email is aklsing for an iTunes user id and password that is a dead giveaway that the email is fraudulent. These are things to check when trying to determine whether an email is legit or not. Screw-ups happen. It's also entirely possible that this is a simple typo and you are getting the emails instead of the intended user. Otherwise just ignore the emails and they will evenutslly stop.

  • I keep receiving an error message when I try to send an adobe document through Outlook email.

I keep receiving an error message when I try to send an adobe document through Outlook email.
The message is : Either there is not default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.
I have checked everywhere on my system and changed Microsoft Outlook as the default mail program but nothing is helping. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same issue, just replied to a different post on the issue.  I am running Acrobat X Pro with Win 7 Pro 64-bit.  This is a new PC, but my last PC was a 32-bit OS and I didn't have this issue.  I was suspecting that it is due to the 64-bit OS.
Reading this post though, I am starting to wonder if there isn't something else going on.  When I go to Edit>Preferences, I don't have anything related to email under Categories, or even within any of the categories listed.  I am I missing a plug in or something?  Or is this a component of a previous version of Acrobat?
I tried to attach a screenshot of the error message but getting a new error while trying to attach!  File is only 25kb!  Will have to live without i guess.

  • I keep receiving Reset email password emails. The most recent one was actually addressed to someone else... i.e. the name in the email not the email address. why is this happening??

I keep receiving Reset email password emails.
The most recent one was actually addressed to someone else... i.e. the name in the email not the email address. why is this happening?? I am not requesting to reset my icloud email password.

That's probably because it's been sent out to a Bcc'd mailing list and that's the name on the main version. This is so that you don't see the other names.
If it doesn't come from something @apple.com then it's spam. Even if it appears to it's probably spam. If you want to change your password go directly to http://appleid.apple.com - do not follow any links in the email (even if they appear to lead to that address.)

  • I keep receiving emails on my ipad that don't display a message, don't enable me to delete them, and are dated 12/31/69.  What is up with this?

I keep receiving emails (about 10 - 14) on my iPad that have no message, don't allow me to delete them in the same way as the other messages I want deleted are deleted, and are dated 12/31/69.  Does anyone have this problem?  How can I stop the messages?  I called Apple Support and they told me iCloud was having a problem.  Help!

    Hi Kappy,
I've checked your account, and it looks like you have multiple subscriptions. You have two for ExportPDF (one renewing in February, and the other in April). You also have an Adobe PDF Pack subscription, which is the one that renews in March.
Since you have Adobe PDF Pack, you don't need ExportPDF. Would you like me to cancel both of your ExportPDF subscriptions for you?
    Best,
    Sara

I keep receiving duplicate email even after deleting them

After you delete them, empty the trash before they re-load.

  • I keep receiving emails telling me that my account is about to be disabled if I don't supply my log in details etc.  Phishing or real?

Hi,  I wonder if someone can help?  I keep receiving emails telling me that my account is about to be disabled if I do not respond within 24 hours because someone has tried to sign in to my apple account.  Previously, I have followed instructions and given all my information!!!  However, today when I went in to 'verify me' a box came up saying this was probably/possibly a phishing scam.  I checked back through my emails, found the previous one, clicked on that and it too came up as a phishing scam this time, however, sadly, that did not happen last time which is why I put in all my info.
What do I do?  What will happen to my 'stuff' (apple iPad, iPhone and iPod) if I do not respond in time if it is real?
    Help please??
    Kate.

    Very likely phishing.
Your Apple ID will automatically be disabled if your account password is entered wrongly many times. Apple do not send email as far as I know.
