Keeping selected contacts only on the phone

I have some contacts that I want ONLY on the phone - NOT synchronized with the Outlook server - I see how to mark Outlook contacts Private and not sync them, but how do I NOT sync some of the phone contacts to Outlook? Thanks!

Once you have done that, create the contact on your BlackBerry and set it to "private". If I recall correctly, it should not be seen by the synchronization tool.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

I thought that at first, but I have text this person before and had received responses in a timely manner. Its just weird that it all of a sudden removed their name.

Thanks Eric, but that was already turned on. I just now tried turning it off and on again, no change. Actually, I"m more interested in seeing the names than the pictures. I now only see the phone numbers and generic avatars where pics would be.

You do realize that the SIM only contains account information for your wireless account.
Moving the SIM from phone to phone does not cause any of your iTunes content, contacts, email, etc to magically appear on the device.

I went into the cloud on phone it was on. Turned off and back on. Now i have 6 of one contactDeleted face books also incase that was the issue. you can use a photo many time is the same book - simply drag it from the photo strip to the photo frame you want it in - even though you have used it before you can still use it again
And adding photos is easy - go to the photo (in an album, event or photo view) and drag the photo(s) to the book under keepsakes - it will now be available to use

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin. The only exception being the EU where a device bought in any EU country can get warranty or service in any EU country.
Warranty is determined by device (serial number), no documentation required.
Apple does not repair devices, they replace them. For that reason, ensure the device is backed up and any pictures take with the device are copied off the device prior to going in for service.

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

1. I assume that that suggests that it is not normal for a browser window to respond with minimisation? It is just weird when a window just disappears, no reason given (and since there is no obvious loss of internet it can take you by chance)

4. It has calmed down but there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to it. Forgot to mention that I had my first ever crash of Final Cut Pro since I have been using it nearly daily for four years. Tell me about it! It is impossible, I came here to answer via the link in the emailed notification, was already signed out and signed in and was returned to the front page. Had to go back to my Mail, click the link again and this time, luckily, I was signed in. In other words- the session is impossibly short and signing in doesn't return you to the browser window you were but rather returns you to the front. Meh.

If the Slide to Power Off option is coming up, that suggests your power button isn't working correctly and is sticking.
Best thing to do is bring the phone to an Apple store (make an appointment first) and have a Genius take a look at it.

Yep. You need to touch the sleep/power button once to silence the ring, and twice in order for the call to go directly to Voicemail.

That makes less sense as the sim tray a fairly stiff metal and should be pulled straight out once released. You didn't answer the question about where is was bought. Is is a real iPhone?
