Is there an easy way to find all apps on iPad , Seems like they are not all listed in general set up ? Also not all listed when search using keyword apps? Don't wamt to have to uise Mac lalptop.

Are you saying that you can't find them on the iPod using the iPod's Spotlight search feature?

Is there any way for me to keep track of how much i have spent on apps ? i purchase an app or two every other day and i get my bills in my email, but i get them every other day aswell but i dont want to have to look at the 15 different emails i have and add up the tally . Is there a way to see how much i have spent in apps ? is there a way to see on itunes or perhaps in an App ? This is important to know for us app-aholics that purchase an app here and there because they can add up real quick . i found a way to see purchase history all in one page. i go to itunes, then in the "store" tab i click "view my account" and then click "purchase history" . So now im still wondering is there is an app to do this

I have downloaded every update and my battery life is better than any previous iPhone I have ever owned. I see posts from hundreds of people every day, and this is not a commonly reported problem. While there are a few random reports of battery problems, it is no more than I have seen for any other model or any other version of iOS in almost 8 years. Usually problems of rapid battery drain can be traced to bad apps (FaceBook is the worst offender) or corrupt data being synced from iCloud or other sources (gmail, Windows Live, Yahoo, etc).
The simple test is to restore the phone as New. Do not create any email accounts. Do not install any apps. Do not enable FaceTime or iMessage. Do not enable Twitter or any other social networking app. Use it for a day and check the battery usage. You will find that it is working well.

How keep track of caller from web page or app in your EJB

I want to make a Security Handler for my EJB Server. I want apps / users to be able to log in. However, after they log in (for example from a web page), how do I keep track of who they are when they then make subsequent calls to EJBs?
Where can I find out who they are?
How do I standardize this for apps and web page callers?
I know that for web servers to keep track of who the caller is for them, they need to store a handle on the client. Do I need to do this too?
If I do keep smth on the client side that they send back/forth to me, does that not fit with the EJB standards?

Keeping track of users over different apps

Hi folks,
I haven't seen much on this question. How do you keep track of users across apps? If I log a user in using a 'login' app and then want to move them to another app, how do I keep track of their username (or some other identifier)?
I just read that each app uses it's own session.
Any advice is very much appreciated!

I haven't done it much myself, but you CAN do cross-context calls.
There is a method in ServletContext: getServletContext( String context)
eg
application.getServletContext("/login") would get you the servletContext of the "login" application
From that you can get a request dispatcher, and forward them to a page under that context. You could also pass information back and forth via the application layer.
To do this, you need to explicitly specify an app can make cross-context calls (part of the setup for the web context).
eg in Tomcat

Sometimes I keep an app just to know when there will be an update (I don't use it because i'm waiting for some feature to be developped).
Do you know of any app where I can keep tracked of purchased apps updates without keeping them on my device?

In the Purchased list. Go to the App Store. Tap Updates. Tap Purchased at the top of the screen. Tap Not on This iPad.

Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case?

I have an ipad and iphone with a pc laptop at home. I have a program called "Passkeepers on the laptop that keeps track of all my passwords. Can I tranasfer this file to my ipad or iphone. If yes, how if now what program for ipad or iphone do I need?

Oh nice, there's a PassKeeper application for the iPhone and iPad. Simply install it and it should talk you through steps, otherwise their website is probably a great place to check.

You will not get any stats from Apple / iTunes. You need to get that info from your libsyn account.
If you want to see the number of people consuming via iTunes or the Podcasts App (AppleCoreMedia) - you will need to have the advanced stats - App 400 or greater level account in Libsyn.
That is the only way to get the info you are looking for.

Keeping track of broadcaster

I am developing a webcasting app (realtime broadcast) using
flash and asp.net. I would like to keep track of the online
status(yes/no) of the broadcaster. I tried the following:
When broadcaster starts broadcasting:
On "Connect.Success", do a
loadvars("setOnline.aspx?broadcasterid=111&online=yes") -
setOnline.aspx would go update the database accordingly
When broadcaster signs off:
In the SERVER-SIDE SCRIPT, on application.onDisconnect, I
tried to do similar loadvars procedure with online set to "no", but
loadvars is no good in SSAS. I did try to do this in client side,
but it dies too quickly before the loadvar code is executed.
I wonder if there is other way to accomplish the above
tasks.(update a database column when broadcaster go online/offline
through simply calling a aspx page with url parameters).

If you or your Nephew use Safari and the "Private Browsing" option available on Safari, it's almost impossible to track any downloads, any history, or any cache - it's designed that way...

My new phone account has limited calltime included.. how can I keep track of the total time on outgoing calls in a given month? ( N8 )

Would you prefer a third party app or an inbuilt one? You can use the call log option on your phone, and check the "dialled numbers" timer. You would see how many minutes you have used. You can just clear these counters at the end of each month.

I need to keep track of books

I'm thinking of switching to the iphone, but it all hinges on this. Does anyone know of an app that will keep track of all my books? I need to keep the name of the book, the author, the ISBN, etc. I've done a search, looked around but haven't found anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there an online site that would allow you to store that info? If so, you could access it from Safari on your iPhone.
If you can store it in Excel or Word, you can access it from your iPhone.

SapGui settings - Keeping track of keyboard strokes while busy

Can you configure SapGui/WAS to keep track of keyboard strokes while it´s busy (with no user control) waiting for the application server response, and then, when control is restored to the user, send the strokes back to the app. server?

Keeping track of notes

I am a recent convert to the iPhone from a Palm Treo 700p. I used Missing Sync's notes feature to keep track of a lot of items such as serial numbers for my electronic goods, my prescription drugs, etc. Is there anything like that for the iPhone where I can keep notes and update them either on the iPhone or either of my three Macs and have them sync?

Notes can be synced with the Mail.app Notes feature on your Mac.
