Keeping track of deleted app updates

Hi,
Sometimes I keep an app just to know when there will be an update (I don't use it because i'm waiting for some feature to be developped).
Do you know of any app where I can keep tracked of purchased apps updates without keeping them on my device?

In the Purchased list. Go to the App Store. Tap Updates. Tap Purchased at the top of the screen. Tap Not on This iPad.

I'm curious (sincerely, not trying to be critical), but what is really so annoying about it? Unless you access it directly, you don't see it; the newest updates always filter to the top of the list and thus are much more prominent than past updates; you always have a record of updates to refer to including the date you took them and what was changed - potentially useful information. You're not first person to post about this, but I honestly do not get why it is an issue.

Delete app updates

How do I delete the app updates from the APP app after updating?
I have an iPad Air.

You can't delete them. They eventually go away on their own. It's a new feature in iOS 7. After a couple of weeks, the oldest ones will disappear and then the next oldest, and so on.

IPhone keeps automatically reinstalling deleted apps.

If I delete applications from my iPhone (by holding my finger down on the icon till it jiggles and then tapping the red X) then when I plug the phone into my PC, the PC is automatically reinstalling them.
The only way I can find to stop this happening is to go into the Applications section of the itunes library on my PC and delete it from there.
Does anyone know a fix for this? It's very annoying.

Yep, this keeps happening with me too, but it just started recently. Prior I had no issues with syncing on 2 computers.
I use my Mac mini as a home media center, so my songs are stored on that iTunes which I normally sync to the iPhone (getting new tunes, changing playlists, etc.). My MacBook Pro is my work computer and contains most of my calendars, contacts, etc. The iTunes here is used to add applications to my iPhone as well as update Notes and iPhoto.
I recently upgraded my Mac mini's external drive with a larger capacity for more media storage. Afterwards, I've had all sorts of issues with missing songs, duplicates and ghost links in iTunes. I thought I had it resolved until now this issue with the iPhone. The worst part is that I only want the mini iTunes to sync the songs but it says it wants to erase all my apps to do so. If I do that and go back to my work iTunes, it asks to add all those apps that were deleted PLUS old ones I had removed previously. I have to then rearrange my apps & screens as well as delete again these old apps I don't want anymore (but don't delete because I paid for them!!). Next time I sync with the mini iTunes, the pattern starts all over!!
It's maddening! I'm starting to think that I need to erase the entire directory for both iTunes and reinstall fresh media. Know this is long, but so has the attempts to fix this issue!!

You can't delete them.
It will start dropping the earlier updates after about two weeks (on a first in first out basis)

Unable to retrieve full contact screen by clicking track pad/ Facebook app update coincidence?

Recently I discovered that when I navigate to a particular contact (it just happens to be the people I talk, email, text with most often) their information doesn't open up when I click on the trackpad. This only seems to be happening with specific contacts and not the majority of people in my address book. At this point I can only get my frequent contact's specific information (phone numbers, email addresses etc) by clicking the trackpad to find their contact name, clicking again on the menu key (I cannot click view either) and then selecting email, call, sms, mms etc and only then can I do the specific task. This is a new problem so I'm wondering if I've turned off some feature on my frequent contacts when I updated my FAcebook app on my phone. Help!!

Doubtful.
I assume you're speaking of viewing those contacts from navigating to the Address Book?
Try a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

Delete App Updates from the IPad

I can no longer get rid of my Apps that have been updated. They just remain with all the other updates with the "Open" tab showing. There's no reason to leave these to clutter the page.
Get rid fo them after updating.

Sorry, that's how Apple wants it. One could guess that it was meant to be transparency for those that have auto updates enabled, however it works for everyone - whether they want it or not.
You just have to ignore them.

Deleting app update notices

I have TomTom on my iPhone and they offered an update I do not need. How do I get rid ofthe update notice? There is a constant reminder on my App Store icon.

You can't get rid of the update notice. Your choices are to update or live with the notice.

Is there any way to make the App Store button quit showing the number of updates? I have an app that I don't want to update and I hate seeing that little red and whote number on my iPhone. Can I change the settings or something?

No way to get rid of it, other than updating the app.

App updates how to delete notifications

I am a Microsoft semi pro and have just become an apple iPad novice, so lots of questions....first I have downloaded a few apps and I am receiving update notifications for them. If I don't want to update I cannot delete the notification. I do not want to keep these in my apps update folder as I can see a red alert 1 circle on home screen. I am far too tidy to want that to stay. Please help

No you cannot delete the update notifications unless you delete the app. If you do not want to delete the app, you can move the App Store icon to another screen so that you don't see the notifications. But that may not be such a good idea because then you will have to check for notification for the apps that you do want to update.
In order to move an app - tap and hold down on the icon until it wiggles, then drag the app to the side of the screen and hold it about halfway over to the next screen for a second or two - and the app will jump to the next screen. Tap the home button when you are done.

Launch iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / View My Account
Click: Edit Payment Information
Make sure you have the correct Security Code.
Then click: Done

App updates not deleting after download.

iTunes has stopped deleting app updates after they have been downloaded. I now have 25 apps to download everytime I get a new update. Can anybody help me solve this. I'm on latest version of iTunes 10.6.3 and OSX 10.7.4

I want to erase the apps from iCloud.

You can't delete them from your purchased list. You can hide them in iTunes as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919, but not on your phone running iOS 6. Also, they aren't stored in your account, they are in the iTunes and App stores. iCloud only keeps track of the apps and other media that you have purchased.

Downloading app updates problem - iTunes 11.1

Since I downloaded and installed the new version, it keeps freezing when downloading app updates, they get so far then sort-of hang. I get no error messages. Is there a way I can stop a download and restart it?

I had this problem as well and found a way how to solve this:
You need to reset your iPhone by pressing the Home button and the Power button simultaneously until the iPhone reboots.
After it rebooted I unlocked the phone, connected it to my PC and ran the iTunes sync without any problems.

Enterprise App Update?

I have been playing with the Enterprise App deployment and have noticed that iOS devices treat the app as a seperate app deployment over the app store app. I haven't been able to figure out how to deploy the Enterprise app to already deployed devices so have requested my end users do so with a step by step guide. This is problematic since I have a hard time with the users following the directions I provide.
On that note I have a concern going forward with the Enterprise app. How do I keep that kind of app updated? If the App is moved up in version how does it indicate an update to the end device since that app is not part of the AppStore push. Is this something that can be pushed out using the ZMM app function?
If there is more documentation on this I would love to see it. The material I have found so far is lacking at best.
