Kein Mailversand - iCloud (iCloud Offline)

Hallo Zusammen,

Having the same issue!  Nightmare.

is icloud offline in Thailand at the moment? Sunday 2.53

I somewhat retract my statement.  Turns out my phone, due to a reboot, had connected itself to the wrong WiFi Hotspot (a router named Linksys) that didn't actually have an internet connection.  So on my 3BB connection up here in Chiang Mai, I was able to delete that network from my preferences, make sure it was connecting to the correct WiFi, and then ... while it still hasn't backed up, it's at least connecting to iCloud correctly now.

If you didn't enable find my iphone in icloud settings on your phone, then you can't do a lost mode or lock your phone.
I would assume you had a passcode on your phone to lock it.  If you didn't then start changing your passwords.
Report the lost to your phone carrier - local authorities.

  • ICloud offline

My iCloud is offline...... What do I do?
Then its online but I still cannot send mails!!!
    Please help!!!!!!!!
Now it keeps asking me which mail server I would like to send the mail from.
Then I select iCloud, then it creates another duplicated version of the mail in my out box and still doesnt send it.
Mails coming in but not going out...

I turned off Mail in Prefs then back on and Rebuild took over with an Empty Inbox. Even on completion, the Inbox was empty. Quit Mail then opened and eventually the Inbox filled up. Incoming Mail continues but Test Messages to myself still Fail.

  • HT4759 (Macbook pro) in Mail my icloud account the smtp's server is offline & incoming gray?  the out going Mail Server (smtp) says icloud (offline) . how can it go online?

In Mail,  my icloud account the smtp's server is offline & the incoming  server is gray? How can I reverse this ?
did try going  on server SMTP in the edit section, both on " accout info" and "advance". no change. thanks

Okay, fixed it on mine.  In Mail.app:
    1) Mail menu | Preferences.
    2) Select problematic account in list on left.
    3) Select "Edit SMTP Server List..." from Outgoing Mail Server drop-down.
    4) Fix username by appending domain name
(append "@gmail.com" if standard account, or your own domain if apps user).
    5) Re-enter password.
    Save your preferences.

  • Is iCloud Offline/being updated?

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
I've been reading that many folks are having issues logging into iCloud right now, but I have not found a thread that posts a solution.
For me personally, I have not been able to get my email from the cloud for two days now.  My home Mac Running Snow Leopard, My iPhone and iPad, and my MBP running Lion are all affected.  It appears to be on the server end.  It is requesting my password from time to time to reestablish a connection but that is not working either.  If the server destination has changed it's supposed to update automatically and it is not happening.  Does anyone know what, if anything, Apple is doing to fix this situation?
    Thanks,
    Brian

I have had an Apple since 1979 and even owned a computer school using all Apples for 20 years. Apple was always there for us. Never had a problem with Apple products. I'd blame the hackers and competetion and the sick people who are out to destroy  instead of building things.

  • Kein zugriff icloud

MediaServer wieder einstellen

  • "cannot send email message using the server icloud" on 10.6.8

I use mail from my desktop, not from iCloud on the Internet. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. My mail was working fine until yesterday.
It says "Cannot send message using the server iCloud. connections to the server smtp.me.com on the default ports timed out. Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below.
    The list has:
       ICloud offline
       and Icloud
    Neither of them work.
What has Apple changed regarding this in September?
(I know others have posted similar message, but they were on 10.7)

    Same problem here.
Recently an @icloud.com version (alias) of my existing @me.com email address appeared on my account. I can still send messages form the OSX build in Mail client as long as I am using the @me.com version of my email, but I do get this message when I try to use the new @icloud.com account.
My account with iCloud states that both @me.com and @icloud.com versions of my email are active.
Would be nice to know if this is a temporary problem of if this is a permanent one.
The settings on the outgoing mail server are default as retrieved from apple when I configured the @me.com email for the first time. I went through the troubleshooting suggestions as provided on Apple website, double checking all the settings, no joy. At the very list I can still use the old @me.com alias with no problem (for now)

  • How do I get iCloud Mail back online.

I keep getting a message from the warning note triangles that say "The server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” refused to allow a connection on port 143".
The incoming server is p99-imap.mail.me.com, the outgoing is smtp.me.com and the User Name and Password is entered correctly.
The Default Ports are selected and SSL is checked under "Edit SMTP Server List".
The Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) continues to show "iCloud (iCloud, Offline)" The "Advanced" Button has Port 143 selected and Authentication is selected "Password".
The email in this iMac has been working correctly until now.  The only thing I can think of that I have changed is that I have recently deleted my cookies.

  • How to set up an icloud mail account?

My iCLoud email is not working.
What is the Incoming Mail Server for iCLoud?
The Outgoing Server says: (iCloud, Offline)

    Open System Preferences>iCloud.
Switch Mail off, reboot, then switch Mail on again, Mail will (or should) be setup automatically if it is an iCloud mail account.

  • ICloud pop server down?

I'm having problems receiving email on My Mac using Apple Mail.
Acording to mail the IMAP Server (p04-imap.mail.me.com)  is unavailable.
According to http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ there is no current issue with iCloud
Email's a being received on my iPhone and iPad, just not Mac OS X 10.8.4
    Addendum
Having just restarted Mail it is now listing the account as MobileMe rather than iCloud.  Then outgoing mail server options are MobileMe (MobileMe), iCloud (Offline)
    Dan

Go into Apple mail's preferences and delete the mobileme account.  Then define an icloud account using your current ID.  That will bring back your icloud emails and set things up correctly for incoming and outgoing emails.

  • ICloud server conflict?

    Hi,
I'm having issues with my mac email.
i used to have a mobile me account which I upgraded to icloud recenlty. The problem i'm having is on my mac, there seems to be some kind of server issue. Emails are arriving ok but i have difficulty sending them. When I try to send, I get an error saying -

    [email protected] (icloud, offline)
    smtp.mac.com:matt_bell (offline)
Can you advise what i need to do please?

It then gives me 2 options - [email protected] (iCloud, Offline) or smtp.mac.com
Neither work when i select them. the icloud one gives me a further error message saying - 'MFMessageErrorDomain error 1032)
The smtp.mac.com one says it was rejected by the server still.?
    i'm confused.
smtp.mac.com is the wrong address, try these:

  • Can't send email from mac

    Hi
I don't know since when, but I can't send email anymore via iCloud on my Mac. iPhone and iPad work. Online iCloud as well.
    I am running:
    OS X 10.9.2
    Mail 7.2 (1874)
    I use the @me.com adresses
    smtp Server says: iCloud(iCloud)
    What I tried so far:
I went to Accounts in SysPref and activated and deactivated the account.
    No help
I deleted my iCloud account and created it new from scratch on my Mac
    No help
But it changed the smtp server info from iCloud(iCloud offline) to iCloud(iCloud)
    But still can't send it.
Also, all info seems to indicate that everything is fine. Account Info, etc.
I am running out of options.
    Any help?
    ExKingKong

Try deleting the email account in Mail's Accounts preference pane
and then add it back. That will automatically enter the correct server addresses.
