Kernal and System errors.

I have a ibook I have had since 03 or 04 Not sure It recently has been giving me BS when I updated the OS to the latest PPC update for OSX I restarted it and It gives me Kernal panic error (Hold the power button) when It starts up and I try to do anything Sometimes when I am lucky it gives me System Failure errors it looks like the Unix code on top of the screen and It freezes up.
I tryed putting in the Tiger CD to disk repair and It says disk has errors but cannot be repaired and when I try to repair permissions on the internal drive it Kernalcrashes on me. I cant reinstall OSX cause the cd wont Load up anymore I restart old the c button and it gives me system failure errors across the screen. I started up in single user mode and tryed FSCK -f and it says cannot repair drive
with this error

safe mode wont work either It just shuts itsself off after a cupple second of the gray apple and spin load wheel.
I dont know what to do I still have extended warrenty I think still on it but if I can fix it I will try Anyone have anything else to try.

The drive's directory is corrupt and needs to be repaired. Disk Warrior can probably repair it.

Symptom
When the first message for a managed system is cancelled or resent, after pressing ok in the logon pop-up nothing happens - message is not resent or cancelled. The logon data is correct, since subsequent resend/ cancel works without further logon request. Another symptom is cancelling or resending a wrong message, when using the filter mechanism in the table. E.g. the table displays messages A, B, C, D. If message C is selected and after that the filter is set so that message C is hidden from the filter selection, when selecting message D and trying to resend/cancel it, message C is cancelled/resent (the hidden one, previously selected) and nothing is happening with message D.

Reason and Prerequisites
The UI Proxy connection was not obtained properly. Another reason - TableAccessories was not invalidating the nodes properly. Also after filtering the result list, resend/cancel was taking wrong message Ids.
Solution
For SP5 install LMNWABASICCOMP05P_1.SCA or higher patch level.
For SP6 install LMNWABASICCOMP06P_1.SCA or higher patch level.

Personalization migration and System Error

ITunes 11.4 update and system error message?

I recently updated my MacBookPro iTunes to 11.4. As soon as it was "completed" I got the following error.
System Extension Cannot Be Used
"/system/library/extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext" was installed improperly.
What does this mean? Is it a problem? How can I fix it?
I also updated my Epson printer software at same time, but I'm thinking the error message is not related to the printer.

N85: System error with Maps

Hello
I have a N85 for a few days now. Everything is working except the Maps: when I try to launch the Maps application I have an error message "System Error" ("Erreur système" in french).
Does anybody know how to fix this problem ?

Thanks for your answer. In fact when I have a look to the installed apps, Nokia Maps is not in the list of installed applications (which is probably the cause of the error). I have already noticed this and I have tried to install Nokia Maps but the result is the same: Nokia Maps not in the list of installed apps and "System error" when I try to use the maps. The Nokia support has sent me some steps to perform (among them reinitialize the phone to its primary state or even format it) to fix the problem. I will try this.

N73me "system error" when switching to camera

Hi, I bought my N73 music edition about 3 months ago. I just recently made update for PC Suite Software and checked for updates for N73me. I found 4.0736.3.2.1 release and made the update. Now both of the cameras won't start and display only system error and exclamation mark. I've already reset the settings of N73me and made re-install of the update via pc. What's wrong with the camera system ? Otherwise N73me seems to work ok. Does Nokia take care of this type of errors ?

I also have this same problem. About a week ago I installed the v4.0736.3.2.1 firmware and today when I went to use both cameras all I get is a beep and System Error! I have taken the battery and SIM card out and have used the code *#7370#. It wiped my phone memory clean but did not fix the camera problem. After checking around the Internet I see quite a few people having the same problem. How can this be corrected and furthermore, if this is such a common problem why is it not stated how to rectify this at the download site? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I'm running into an error message which is proving particularly difficult to debug. After my built application has been running for some time, a windows system error will pop up telling me my application has done something bad and needs to be shut down (and sorry for the inconvenience). Clicking through to the "see what the error report contains" page reveals the issue as being in the lvrt.dll module at offset 0080a6a.
This unfortunately doesn't mean much to me.
On some occasions when I click "Don't Send", another error message pops up informing me there is "Not enough memory available to complete this operation".
The program will typically run between 8 and 24 hours before the error occurs, though I've had it run error-free for upwards of 48.
My program is unfortunately fairly large, and depends on communication with proprietary hardware so can't be uploaded in a functional state. In general terms, the body of the program (which is executing when the error occurs) involves RS-485 serial communication and simultaneous display of data to 7 continuously updating strip charts (producer-consumer design), along with envalope detection and RMS calculations in real time, all of which is multiplied by two parallel channels (around 1Mb/s data rate for each). The data is also buffered and stored in binary files for later review. Binary files are closed and a new one is opened for every 10 minutes of data collection (approx 50MB of data).
There are also about 40 user controls associated with each channel, and are polled periodically (a couple times a second). The crashes occur during over night tests, however, when there is no user input. Globals are used for inter-panel communication, but no global is written to in more than one location (most are read in multiple locations).
I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark here, but does the lvrt.dll error at offset 00080a6a mean anything to anyone? Are there any "typical" causes for a failure in lvrt.dll having to do with prolonged high data rate serial communications? For reference, this has occured on multiple machines, but all the machines it has occured on are identical out-of-the-box laptop models running XP 32. I'm going to try to run an overnight test tonight on the development machine and see if I get any different results (Vista 64 vs Windows XP 32).
I can't say my hopes are high with this one, and I'm gonna continue to comb over the code for any possible conflicts, but any insight would be appreciated.

Next time the error message comes up I will take a screenshot of it for you. Unfortunately that may not be until Monday, as tonight is the soonest I'll be able to run another long-term test. The time between failures is the most frustrating part to debug!
There are no errors on compiling or building the application in LabVIEW. My testing has been done mostly on the distribution laptops in application form, with no LabVIEW dev tools installed, Windows XP 32 bit.
The overnight test I attempted on the development machine (within the LabVIEW environment) welcomed me the next morning with a rebooted machine, and so I wasn't able to see an error message (if there was one). Vista 64 on the development machine. Reviewing the data files, I got about 9 hours worth before the crash.
Given the time between failures and the large volume of data I'm passing around, this seems like memory leak type behavior. I'm a bit confused by the fact that it seems to fail in lvrt.dll every time, though. I'm don't know what that indicates, if anything.

Seen in Logic Pro 9.1.7 on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4
and Logic Pro 9.0.0 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5
Logic Pro:
System Overload.
The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time.
(-10011)
Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI.
Sample Rate xxxxx recognized.
Check conflict between Logic Pro and external device.
The search in the help given as follows: overload occurs when you use a lot of tracks and a lot of effects on them, and the synchronization is lost when the selected MIDI track for recording or playback. Yes, this is all that is written in the resources. And here are useful tips that have been found:
The Bounce function allows the entire instrument track to be recorded as an audio file. This bounced audio file can then be used (as an audio region) on a standard audio track, allowing you to reassign the available processing power for further software instrument tracks. For more details, see "Bouncing Your Project."
You can also make use of the Freeze function to capture the output of a software instrument track, again saving processing power. For details, see "Freezing Tracks in the Arrange Area."
These tips - about the timing. About overload - there are no tips, except as "reducing the number of plug-ins" and "increasing latency". Zero useful tips - I got two errors in the test project with a blank audio track with no effects, MIDI drums and standard synthesizer, it was no aux buses, and the entire project was only a single plugin in the master track.

Logic immediately began to sing.

Yes, it worked for me on four different OS and Logic versions (10.6 - 10.8 and 9.0 - 9.1.6)
It does not work in some cases, hard enough to tell in which one, but you can try, it very easy: go to the net settings and create new Ethernet connection to the ip address 1.0.0.0 and connect LAN cable to the port.
Also you can try to figure out what happens in your system while Logic error occured - fot that you just start Console and search "logicpro"
Pay attention to repetitive events in a console and events with suitable timing, not so far from error
The problem may be related to the GUI or system memory, sometimes turning off Safari (or Chrome, others browsers) might help.

I don't know if you have since been able to resolve this problem.
Anyway, for future reference, I have just had the same error message and was able to resolve it by simply removing and then reinstalling one of the characteristics, together with its variables and filters, in the free characteristics section of the query.
Hope that this is of help to someone.
