Over Charged $20 dollars each month and not being reimbursed
I bought a pre paid plan for $80 dollars in March 2013. Set the auto payment on it with credit card.End of march changed it to $60 plan
After few months saw the bank statements and text messages verizon send they were still charging me $80 dollars though online it showed I had signed for $60 plan.Called them in sept .... (should have called earlier) and they saw "yes I had changed my plan to $60 dollars but the change did not go through seems like a software gliche". She tried for 2 hrs but could not fix it and reassured me that it will be fixed within 72 hrs and reference ticket #<Ticket number removed<. Well they did fix it that my credit card was charged $60 but did not reiemburse for the six months they overcharged me total of $120.Finally I call and say I need an answer today and they say we can give credit for only one month and you will have to dispute the rest with your credit card company.
well for that I need account details from March and since I am prepaid customer I can only view current month details. So I asked her give the details but she refused.
I asked her can you see on your end when I changed the plan and what month and she replied "yes you changed it for April but I cannot give you that info"
So bottom line they mess up you pay and once thay have your money by hook or crook they are not going to give it back even if you have a valid case.

Can you buy Creative Cloud for a single month? Or do you have to buy the membership which lasts a year? If so can you cancel the membership after 1 month and only pay for that month?

What you are seeing is a kernel panic.

Why do my outlook e-mails appear on each device and have to be deleted 3 times?
Every outlook email appears on each device and has to be read and delted from each one - then I have to delete three copies of every e-mail from the delted folder. Any ideas how to get them to syncronise properly?
AOL seems to sync fine but not Outlook which is set up as Exchange.I cannot see which community this should be addressed to.
Tough one, but questions about Apple Mail are best handled in the forum for your Mac OS version. If you post what version of OSX you are running, I can ask the Hosts to move you, and you won't have to retype anything. -
Does anyone have a better suggstion than waiting for apple to return my call? 71 days with no back ups and my new 2T unit stopped woprking after a month and living in the Turks & Caicos Islands there is no locoal support (I bought the unit from APple in Miami) According to the diagnostic tests I ran the unit is shot and needs replacing.. Wireless works fine though.. Seems to be a common problem with this unit. Would ahve been better off with my old airport extreme, I ahve had for five eyars, but it no longer hs enough capacity.

I hAVE A 2011 macbook pro, i've noticed that hardrive usage from 180 gig went up slowly to 260 gig after several months, and i didn't even install any software or saved anything at all that big? Why is that? Is it becasue of the many software updates that Apple sends? I already checked my files but i don't find anything that would cause that much of a big jump.

Do I need to power off my iPad after each use?
I bought a new iPad. The problem is after each use I have to power off in Order to connect to internet. Is there something in settings I need to do in Order not to have to shut my iPAd off so often
That shouldn't happen. I almost never turn my iPad off unless I do so for troubleshooting purposes. There is nothing in the settings that you should have to "fix" either as long as WiFi is always turned on.
Try resetting your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
A pop-up window appears after log-in and disappears very fast

There is an annoying pop-up window appearing in the center of my screen, after each log-in to my account.
It dissappears ultra-quickly after showing up and I'm not physically able to see what it's about. I can't even take a screenshot.
I wonder whether there is a respective .log file or an event viewer, in order to check what this might be and why it's appearing.
I opened up the Logs folder, but I didn't find something useful. Activity Monitor also didn't help.
In Login Iterms, there is only iTunesHelper app, and it has never caused any kind of problem before.
All of my settings haven't been changed since last three weeks, and this is happening for only three days now.
There is only one account on MBP (OS X 10.8.5). If further information is needed, I'll try to provide them.
Thanks in advance.Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account -
I have a IPAD. During the initialisation I had to submit an Apple ID. I have one, but unfortunately I had a typo in the adress. I could purchase apps with the invalid adress but now (after several month) it is asking for verification. This is not possible as the e-mail is invalid

Thanks for your help!!The good news is you should be able to get into your Apple ID by answering security questions instead of email at appleid.apple.com. Click the Manage Your Account and then Forgot Your Password links. If you get in you'll see the place to change your primary email address.
The bad news is there are some issues with Apple ID accounts right now. Some accounts are unable to change their primary email address (Mobile Me accounts in particular), some accounts cannot even log in because Apple has screwed up the security information (for example, I have 2 Apple ID accounts where it tells me my own birthday is invalid).
So give it a shot. -
My bill is almost double my plan each month and I never talk on my phone....
I have a $60 per month plan. I never go over my minutes for talking because all I do is text. I use my phone for smart phone services obviously but NEVER go over my allowed usage. But every month my bill is between $110 and $115, even though my plan is $60. I know I have $8 insurance and taxes but where is the other money from? My girlfriend is also on Verizon on an Iphone and her bill is $60-$70 per month and she is talking on her phone NON STOP and uses way more usage than me!
Check your detailed billing. What plan are you on? If it's a Share or More everything, how much is your data allowance? If it's a Nationwide with a 450-minute allowance and 2GB data bucket, and insurance, should run $70-$80 per month.
Look for subscriptions, premium messaging services, things like that can add $10 a pop to your monthly bill, and you get signed up for without realizing it by answering surveys and stuff. Joke a day, horoscopes, those kinds of things are premium services that cost - you can block them if that's what's causing the bill increases. -
Drop packets after 7 months and still dropping
so i called verizon many times i no all the way to fix the problem from them telling me what to do for 7 months and even got a new router/modem from them. i just paid my bill and for what it is worth im still trying to watch tv on my ps3 using hulu or nextflix or crackle but with constant loading screens or freezing. its not the ps3 either plus since i cant use wireless cause of verizons crappy service i have to leave a cat5 cable in which i hate but they say wire everything. im not doing that. i demanded a refund for all the months of problems and yet all i hear is the same excuses from someone i cant even understand cause im calling india. bring the jobs back to usa and have americans speak to us. i dont wanna hear this has been blah blah blah i just want my moneys worth of what i paid in and the problem fixed and not lied to about a i cant have 7mbs cause im to far away so i need to be dropped to 3mbs and somedays i cant even get that. but im 3 blocks away from the office. anyone else have this problem
