Should I post this here? I emailed support about this and it's turned into a wierd mistake. Currently they are making sure I know how to properly hook up my speakers.
I still have the minidump file if that would be useful. This happens occasionally while letting the driver decode AC-3 audio from any Direct Show player (Media Player, Zoom Player, even graph editor) and seeking around in the stream.

Uhh.. that's a 90K binary file. I don't think there's a way to post those here. This isn't a Dr Watson textual disassembly; it's a binary core image of the kernel drivers' memory state at the time of the exception.
More anecdotal information on this. I got another crash this time while playing a stream using mpeg audio. Since mpeg audio is decoded first the audio rendering was receiving pcm, not ac-3 data. Turning off AC-3/DTS decoding in the driver seems to make this problem go away. Since there isn't 00% cause and effect (it's a random crash), I don't know that for sure. What this is telling me is simply having the option turned on destabalizes the system regardless of the format activating it.
Of course, I don't want to run it this way; I really want to use the driver's AC-3/DTS decoding capability.

I have a toshiba m30-304 and until recently worked fine it will not stay connected to the wireless network and now blue screens before shutting down. On restart everything is ok even down to being connected to the wireless network .

If someone wrote until now it is not easy to say why the problem occurs. Who knows what did you done last time with the unit?
Did you try to roll back the operating system to earlier time?
What you mean with recovered? Did you preinstall the unit using Toshiba recovery media? If you think that this is caused by WLAN card remove it from device manager and restart the unit.
I have found many different forums with similar theme but I have no found any concrete solution.

My MacBook Pro can not start completely it stays on a blue scre

I restarted my MacBook Pro but left a USB plugged now it can not start completely it stays on a blue screen where I can see the pointer and sometimes a small icon which indicates its processing something. It has being like that for two days. I can not even turn it off I have to hold the bottom to force it to shut off.

i know this may be silly but i hope you removed the usb device while restarting.
If you did then hold up the option key as soon as you press the power button. It will bring you to a bootfolder selection choose your main partition and boot up. Alternatively if this does not help then do a PRAM and SMC reset. If these things fail then select recovery partition and go to disk utility and repair permisions for the main partition within the first aid section. If all else fails you would need to re install the osx, hope you have a back up.
Since you have not told us what model and year the mbp is if you have the recovery discs with you use disc 2 and read the insturctions on the disc as to what key you should hold.

HP 15-r033tx NVIDIA Graphics card sopped working after windows 7 encountered blue scree

It has been only five days since i purchased HP 15-r033tx laptop. NVIDIA 2gb graphics card stopped working when windos 7 OS encounterd blue screen. I re-intalled the OSand all drivers softwares and yet NVIDIA doesn't show up in control panel. What do i do?

I understand that you had a blue screen, and now the NVidia card is not working, after reinstalling your operating system.
I am happy to help with this. What method did you use to reinstall the operating system? Did you use system recovery?
After reinstalling the OS, did you make sure that all the system drivers were updated to the current ones from the HP support page for that notebook? HP 15-r033tx Notebook PC Drivers
You can try to use the system recovery manager to reload a factory installation.

Frequent blue-screen crashes

Hi everyone,
I've had a Thinkpad T410s for almost a year now. I have always had problems with the machine crashing, at least once per week, often times more. For a long time I thought it was software related, as this laptop is running Windows 7 64bit, and I thought there must be some incompatibility with an older program I have installed. As the IT Manager for my organization, I just have kept working on it over these months, uninstalling/upgrading various programs, running various scans, and trying to hang in there with it.
--My processor is an Intel i5 CPU M 560 @ 2.67 GHz; I have 4 Gb of RAM installed.
--BIOS version is 6UET54WW (1.34)
--Hard drive is INTEL SSDSA1M160G2LE.
--I have run full diagnostics through the Lenovo toolbox and each time it passes all tests. I have attempted to open a case with Lenovo about this and I get turned down because the diagnostics pass.
--I am relatively sure that I do not have a virus. I run Trend Micro Worry-Free Business enterprise wide, have installed Spybot, and run Advanced System Care regularly.
--When my weekly Trend Micro scheduled scan is running, I almost always crash.
--I will crash at other times as well, when the weekly scan is not running, and it is more likely to happen the more apps I have open and the longer the time gets from my last reboot.
--I am unable to get a memory dump on crashing; it fails every time. I've fiddled with the location of the dump file and paging file size but no luck.
--Occassionally the blue-screen is followed on reboot by: Error 2100: HDD0 (Hard disk drive) initialization error.
The last blue-screen said (in part, I'm leaving the common stuff out):

BLUE SCREE- please help

I bought iphone few days ago. At the first time I sync it to my computer and activated the number. The next day when I tried plug iphone to the computer I got the blue screen with the error 0x0000007E. I updated my windows and bios, I cleaned up my memory (which I don't think is the problem cause is 1g) and I’m still getting the error. I think that the driver got somehow corrupted, or the registry and is incompatible with the Windows. Please help otherwise I can't use it.

Do you have drivers installed for a webcamera, scanner or media card reader? If so, updating those drivers, which may not appear on the Windows Update site, should resolve the issue.

Nokia update and 925 stuck in bitlocker blue scree...

Today my lumia 925 asked me to install the Nokia update. Yes, I clicked, and now it boots to a bitlocker blue screen asking me to insert the USB key and press enter...
I had wp8.1 developer on the device before.
Have I bricked the phone? Why bitlocker, what happened?

My iMac is stuck on a blue scree

When I turn on my iMac, I can hear the imac sound then I can see the white screen with the aplle in the middle for some long minutes and then the computer get stuck on a blue screen.
It doesn't work.

HP G62 Ati HD 5470 driver problem (Blue-Screen)

Hello, I have installed a new Win7 64-bit, and I have downloaded every driver and installed successfully except ATI HD 5470 driver.
I have switchable graphics one is intel HD graphics and the other is ATI HD 5470.
When I attemt installing ati hd5470 driver my computer is going black then blue screen and booting itself, to solve this problem, Im booting in safe-mode then uninstalling ATI driver.

I see that your trying to get the graphics installed after installing Win7 onto the notebook. I will try to assist you with this.
1) are you using the drivers from here: HP G62-b14ST Notebook PC Drivers.
2) if you are, installed the Intel driver first, then the amd driver.
3) if it's still blue screening, try installing the drivers from safe mode
4) if it fails from safe mode, the issue could be with the installed OS, try a recovery. (make sure to be using the recovery media for the notebook, so that your installing the OS that was on the notebook)
5) try drivers again (intel then amd)

Xtreme Audio blue scre

I tried to watch a movie in Bsplay, but it allways go to bluescreen. After that i tried to use vlcplayer, it worked just fine. Is this card compatible only just various players?
I also had small self made program with mp3 playing background and when i start that program same bluescreen appears. Just great.
Card sounds great compared to my mobo's realtek audio, but these crashes with that card are depressing.
Anyone had samekind problems?

The driver version as seen in the Device Manager does not have any relation with the driver version posted on the download site. Whenever a new driver becomes available, the older one is usually removed from the download site so you can be sure that it's the latest driver.

BLUE SCREEN ERROR FOR A BRAND NEW DELL STUDIO

I Just bought a brand new Dell Studio laptop from Best Buy and the first login.. was trying to register my Mcfee AV on it and started dumping the physical memory with blue scree.. So sad.
I had Win7 on it. What could be the issue? Can someone help here?
I have another thing to know, I want to replace this one with a diff. Studio laptop which is available in best buy, I want to avoid the 15% restocking fee. The one I am thinking to replace it with is of light brown color in the Dell laptop link on best buy site on page 2 and this one is a bit costlier than the one I am using it.... Can I replace this one without any restocking non-sense as the current one keeps throwing with blue screen error. Although it doesnt happen everytime i use it but it does come up with blue screen every now and then...
Any suggestion would be appreciated. The Laptop which I currently have is not listed in the Best Buy site now, was there till last week. Dell Studio, i3 processor with 500GB HD & 4 GB RAM.

You're over thinking this! If you're getting an error of this type and you didn't do anything to the machine besides install McAfee, then bring it to your nearest BestBuy to have Geeksquad look at it or have it returned. You're within the 30 days, right?
There is no restocking fee for defective items. I'm not sure if yours is defective, but speak to the store, I'm sure you will be pleased. Point is, do it now, before more time passes.

IPhone 5S Blue Screen of Death: seemingly no options left, any ideas?

Purchased my iPhone 5S in Nov 2013, haven't had any problems until mid-December. Made the jump from iOS 7.? to iOS 8.1.2. Afterwards, I started noticing that when I would plug the phone into any cable that it wouldn't sense a charge, would need to remove and re-seat. Phone started thinking Apple cables were uncertified, things like that. No big deal, I would just unplug and re-plug a few times until it recognized the cable was legit. Note: I own several Apple and Apple-certified cables, it didn't matter which cable I used, this issue persisted across all of them.
Forward a few weeks after the update, I wake up one morning and start using my phone and it freezes. Few seconds later, the screen goes blue, several striped lines dissolve in an out between blue/gold/black/silver/white. Press home+sleep button and restart the phone, normal boot for a few seconds until it kernel panics again. Repeat about 5 times until the phone actually starts. I have my MacBook Pro, plug it in, make several attempts to backup until it works (with several kernel panics in between). Restore iPhone from backup. Issue persists. Assume backup is corrupt. Restore phone to factory settings (sacrificing all data, but I just want a working phone at this point). Issue persists. Holidays over, get back to my home.
Make appointment at Apple Store, tech takes a look at it. Notes no physical damage, no water damage. Pulls up diagnostics, everything looks good. Finds dozens of kernel panics logged, blames hardware based on the diagnostics. Tech notes that my phone is "2 months" (more like 5 weeks) out of warranty, no AppleCare, tells me they can't do a warranty replacement. Phone needs to be replaced, offers $269 for a replacement 5S. Mention the phone was working fine before the update. Tech says that sometimes the updates will cause a phone with failing hardware to finally fail (paraphrasing). Can't afford the $269, ask about upgrade eligibility. Tech passes me off to a salesperson who says I'm not eligible until November. Could sign up for AT&T Next, which as I understand splits the cost of a new phone over a year (additional ~$50/mo for a new phone?). Getting married at the end of the year, so money is tight.
Take phone to work yesterday, delete all of my apps from my phone. Plug phone into computer at work (never synced to this machine). Tell machine to do a factory reset, assume that it will be the "cleanest" sync since the app data isn't on this machine. Phone works great... for 18 hours. Wake up this morning, load up Find Friends, freezes and BSODs.
So, looking for any options outside of having to pay $269 for a new phone. Soapbox... Owned Apple stuff all my life: Apple IIe, Mac 2C, Performa 575, PowerMac 6500, iMac, iMac DV, G4, MacBook Pro (LED), MacBook Pro (retina), gen-1 iPod, iPod classic, iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 5S. I've given the company a lot of money over my life. Rarely have I turned to them for repairs and this is the first time they've spurned me weeks outside of warranty coverage. Considering this entire thing started with an update they pushed to my phone, I'm pretty disappointed with them right now.
tl;dr iPhone 5S kernel panics and blue-screens frequently (~dozen times a day) after iOS 8.1.2 update. Few weeks out of warranty, so Apple store told me I can pay them $269 for a refurb, otherwise not helpful. Not eligible for upgrade until November. No physical damage (water or otherwise). Tried to restore from backup, issues persisted. Deleted all of my apps, tried factory restore, issues persist. Any further options?

UPDATE (13-Jan 2015): Took my phone do a different AppleStore and had an appointment with a Genius. The Genius hinted that I should call AppleCare (1-800-APL-CARE) and tell them my story. He said that it was not possible for him to do it, but that by escalating the problem to AppleCare that they may help. I was on the phone with a rep and his supervisor for about an hour before they told the Genius to replace my phone as a one-time out-of-warranty replacement. They stated that because the phone was working fine before the update, and showed no damage, that they would grant my request. Yay Apple for making this right!
This is a known bug, error 101 or something. Only solution they have at the moment is warranty replacement.

MacBook Pro (Boot Camp) kernel panics, application crashes

I'm currently using a mid-2012 15-inch MacBook Pro with Windows 7 Home Premium installed via Boot Camp. Most of my daily activities before last week were playing games on Steam (for both Mac and Windows), editing videos in iMovie (Mac), and browsing the internet on Google Chrome (both). However, starting last Thursday, September 20th, at random intervals, my programs kept crashing without any sort of heads-up or computer slowdown leading into them. This was occurring on Mac with Safari, Steam and iMovie, and on Windows with the newly installed Borderlands 2, Steam, and Skype. Not to mention, Google Chrome's Shockwave was crashing every 15 minutes or less, and the "Oh Snap!" error page popped up without me doing anything on the pages that crashed (both on Mac and Windows).
To add to the problem, I was given my first blue screen after a string of application crashes last Thursday, and soon after upon switching to Mac, I received a kernel panic. From what my friends and I have researched, this has happened due to memory corruption, seeing as how the blue screen errors all had codes relating to that, like 0x0000003B and 0xc0000005. However, no matter what I've tried to fix this, be it cleaning the Windows Registry, using MemTest to see if the RAM caused this, running Disk Utility on Mac, running the Apple Hardware Test, or uninstalling/removing potential malware, nothing has seemed to work. Borderlands 2 keeps crashing at random intervals, Safari still quits while a YouTube video is still playing, and most annoyingly, I get kernel panics and blue screens while I'm talking to my friends on Skype.
Another interesting problem is that I can't install a Mac OS X 10.7.5 update; it tells me the downloaded file was corrupted every time I try download it and it can't install as a result. I'm stuck on Mac OS X 10.7.4. Yet I'm able to install Windows updates without any problem whatsoever. Why is this?
My question is, is it best to take this in for repair, or is there something else I can do to fix this that I haven't tried yet? I don't consider myself to be any good with the computers I use, so I have no idea if I should have seen/identified the error already.

sorry, i am not really able to read and understand this. the panics dont seem to relate to airport. i am using airport the whole day and the first 8 days with my MBP were error-free, except the whine.

Trackpad and Blue Screen under Bootcamp and XP (SP3)

I have this very annoying problem.
Whereas I run Windows XP in bootcamp and I use the multitouch trackpad the system "randomly" locks and I am presented with a blue screen of death. Other times the audio output is garbled with clicks as I press the pad...
The blue scree happens more frequently when the system is under load and is a VERY NASTY BUG of the trackpad driver that prevents to use the Macbook in mobility without a external mouse.
I am posting this since I didn't find other occourrences in the forum. For the more tech savy I'm running XP Home Sp3 and the Macbook is the first unibody. Also I'd been waiting since Jenuary for a update to this problems but nothins has come up yet - The "apple software update" is pushing just Safari 4 and I think this is hardly going to improve the situation.
Any hint?

Apple needs to update the Trackpad driver as well as their wireless driver. There was a very long thread going on about the Trackpad driver and BSOD.
The soulution was to disable some functionality, sorry, I don't remember what exactly.
Possibly not related: The Apple wireless (Broadcom) driver causes audio drop outs but can be fixed with an update located on Microsoft's site, the Trackpad driver will need to be updated by Apple.

Hello there i have this problem from few weeks after i start a game /any game Crysis / Nfs /Wow etc./two things happen :
1rst - monitor flashes and i get mesage Display driver stoped working and windows recovered it.
and i can continue to play
2nd - blue scree Display driver stoped workin begining physical memry dupm bla bla ..
Its either one of thouse 2 things . Im using Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 and the latest Nvidia drivers.
I tryed to flash my bios but i got a mesage that the bios version dosnt support 64bit OS`s.
