Key Chain red X on something what does it mean

in Keychain:
What would cause these two lines to have a red x on them:
com.apple.system.DefaultSharingIdentity
[email protected] SharedServices
Both have a red x in them.
I did log out and into my mobile me in system prefs.
Could a password change do this?

Ok, what I am trying to do is figure out what those two things meant? It said last modified last night. The only thing I did last night was change my password for my mobile me account. That was when the two files were last modified. Since they had red x's on them, I deleted them. Now, I don't see anything that is not working, but whatever they did, I can't seem to get them to come back either.

My itunes store is saying that it could not contact the server, it says i need to restore my ipod but when i go to restore it, it says the server could not be contacted or something. what does this mean?

okay so last night i went to charge my ipod in the computer and it started working then i took it out of the computer and put it on a wall charger and it had a spasm attack and shut itself down, after that it said i had to connect it to itunes so when i did it kept telling me that i need to restore my ipod, but when i press restore the itunes said "the contact server is not avalible" or something similar to that, what does that actually mean and is there anyway i can fix my ipod. i have dropped my ipod a few times, on tiles, wood, in a gutter of water when it fell out my pocket but im also wondering is it something to do with my ipod or is it itunes?

Thanks, glad it helped you to check your battery status.
Something else to look at would be the cycle count, as you mention that your computer is "ancient". If you have a high number of cycles, it may also be a sign that the battery is tired and possibly nearing it's life span, and may possibly need to be replaced soon. If you see that again you may try a SMC reset to see if that helps, but if it continues you may need a new battery at some point. The battery icon will usually say needs service, or something to that effect. For the later MBP's Apple claims a life span of up to 1000 cycles, of this also will be dependent on who the battery is used, on the older ones I'm not quite sure what the claims were, and I don't know how old "ancient" in your case actually means.
I provide this for your info, so that you understand what may possibly be occurring.

I read that Time Machine will back up automatically but I want to take files from the old drive to the new one. Do I have to take them to the computer first and then to the new drive? Whoa! Slow donw. TRhere's a lot here. I would suggest you buy a good book on computers in general or macs in particular, one is "OSX the missing manual".

It means you take one large drive and make it into more than one volume. This means that it might show up as 2,3 or 4 inde[pendenmt drives. Each one could have, for example, a different operating system on it. Its a good thing to do if you want to use a drive for several purposes

Hook it up. Run disk utility. Partition 1 or more partions. GUID map. Format each partition Mac OS extended, Journaled. for more, read book, above. Seriously - we could give you more tips, but you really should learn enough to be comnfident.

- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer any other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup. The restore will also update the iOS.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music

A profile is used on iOS device to add specific settings and similar things to an iOS device. Tryically, they are added when the iOS devices is controlled by a company or school.
However, some apps install a profile. If your iPod is not controlled by a company or school then it seems an app added the profile. You can good the title if the profile and see if that gives any info.

Try reading through this thread: key not valid for use in specified state. Possible solution involves moving the RSA folder. Rather than deleting it as aniwack suggested I'd try this:
For "Key not valid for use in specified state" errors try moving the folder RSA from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA to say C:\RSA (just in case there should be a need to restore it) then try installing again. This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.

I'm attempting to communicate with a RAW device using NI-VISA USB. Device connects okay. When I attempt to use Interface IO, the response is BFFF003D. What does this mean? Why is it in red?
