Key map problem (cgicmd.dat)

I am trying to set the server name in the key map file but am not having any luck (i.e. the report always comes back with
a request for the server name).
Here is the key:
epcdb_run: server=rptsvwww008 destype=cache desformat=HTMLCSS %*
The cgicmd.dat file is found but no matter what I do, I always have to specify the server on the actual URL.
(this works http://..//epcdb_run?server=rptsvwww008, this doesn't http://...//epcdb_run
We have a large number of drill-down reports and I am trying to set the server name in one place for portability reasons.
Thanks,
Jason

Some suggestions,
(1). First of all, make sure your url is like:
http://<server-name>:<port>/<cgi-bin>/rwcgi60.exe?epcdb_run
Not
http://<server-name>:<port>/<cgi-bin>/rwcgi60.exe//epcdb_run (as you said in your message).
(2). Please do a showmap: http://....../rwcgi60.exe/showmap, and verify key epcdb_run's content is correct. Sometimes you may have more than one keymap file in your system, and you may accidentally use another key map file.
(3). Please do a parsequery: http://...../rwcgi60.exe/parsequery?epcdb_run. Web command "parsequery" is for diagnostic purpose, you can see what parameters reports CGI is received and will be passed to Reports Server. You should be able to see if the server name is there.
Hope this helps,
-Jeff Tang

    Hi Hector,
Please ensure that in your Payment Terms code, no such special character has been used that are reserved by XML.This may cause conflict with the XML format and may lead to this issue.

  • Foreign key Mapping based on Data - in SQL Developer Data modeler

    Team
Do SQL Developer Data modeler supports Foreign Key mapping based on the Data in the Schema rather defined at the DDL ? For e.g if we implement a Objects Relation ship mapping in Data base, we don't define Foreign keys at table creation.
Toad does this feature through "AUTOMATIC FOREIGN KEYS MAPPING IN TOAD DATA MODELER" more info at (http://toadworld.com/Blogs/tabid/67/EntryId/905/Automatic-Foreign-Keys-Mapping-in-Toad-Data-Modeler.aspx)
any one know how to implement through some scripts also helps me
    Regards

If you have table PKs defined and the candidate columns match those PK columns, then you can use the Discover Foreign Keys utility. Right mouse over the relational model name (node) in the left browser. It is about half way down the menu. I did a blog post about it last week on kentgraziano.com.

  • Problems with ViaVoice under Leopard, especially key mapping problems

ViaVoice's behavior has changed considerably under Leopard. First I will discuss the key mapping problem, since I'm eagerly looking for an answer to this problem. At the end of this post, I will voice some of the other problems I've experienced for those who may be interested. The key mapping problem may be specific to the fact that I use a foreign keyboard with a US version of ViaVoice.
    INTRO:
I have used ViaVoice on my Mac for years, more or less without problems (ViaVoice's bugginess is notorious).
Those who know ViaVoice will know that one has two general options for dictation. One can dictate into ViaVoice's so-called SpeakPad, which allows special formatting, editing and dictation error correction within the dictated text, or one can dictate into "external" software such as Microsoft Word, in which case ViaVoice just sends a string of characters to that software. SpeakPad appears to make strong use of the operating system's built-in functionality for character formatting, document formatting, etc.
    *MY PROBLEM*
I have a German keyboard on my PowerBook, yet dictate in US English. When I dictated into SpeakPad under Tiger, all characters appeared correctly. However, when I dictated into Microsoft Word using Tiger, I had to switch the keyboard mapping from German to US to get all characters (that means including the characters that are located at different positions on a German keyboard than they are on a US keyboard such as y, z, apostrophes and parentheses) to appear correctly.
Under Leopard, things have changed. Now it doesn't matter whether I dictate into SpeakPad or Word; the results are the same and many characters do not appear correctly.
If set to a German keyboard, y and z appear as expected. To name a few irregularities:
    "(" appears as ")"
    ")" appears as "="
    apostrophes appear as "#" and
    ";" appears as ","
If set to a US keyboard, y and z are interchanged. "(" and ")" appear as expected. Apostrophes appear as "\" and ";" appears as ","
By comparison, if typed (as opposed to dictated, as in the examples above) "correctly" (i.e. based on the letters printed on the keyboard) on a German keyboard set to imitate a US keyboard:
    y and z are interchanged
    apostrophes appear as "|"
    "(" appears as "*"
    ")" appears as "(" and
";" appears as the symbol for "less than"
Since I don't have a US keyboard, I can't say how it would behave if set to imitate a German keyboard, i.e. if there's a correlation to the results I get when I dictate.
Since I was previously able to dictate correctly into SpeakPad by setting the keyboard to "German" and into Word by setting the keyboard to "US," I presume that this is a problem in Leopard, not ViaVoice.
*OTHER PROBLEMS WITH VIAVOICE UNDER LEOPARD*
In addition to the aforementioned key mapping problems (that may be specific to those of us with foreign keyboards), ViaVoice appears to have lost considerable functionality in Leopard. I cannot access SpeakPad's Preferences and the correction window. Moreover, the traffic-light like window buttons have disappeared from the VoiceCenter (although they work if you click where they should be). SetupAssistent appears to function.
I've written to Nuance about these problems, but have little hope that they will invest the time in producing a patch since they haven't released any updates since 2003.

    Thrums1,
I've never had to "register" ViaVoice after updating the system. I thus suspect you haven't fully followed my above, three-step advice (particularly step 3).
    1) Reinstall ViaVoice from CD.
    2) Update to the latest version (using the patch downloadable from Nuance's website).
    3) Replace the “temp” and “users” folders (in the "ViaVoice" folder at the upper level of your home directory) by a previous copy thereof. When I say previous copy, I mean a copy from when ViaVoice was still working properly, e.g. a copy from when it was running under Tiger.
As I said, I've gotten ViaVoice to survive several system updates by following the above steps. To my knowledge, the last step is critical since it saves you from having to reconfigure ViaVoice under the new operating system (in this case Leopard). I suspect that ViaVoice is crashing on your system because it's trying to start some module of the SetUpAssistant that is incompatible with Leopard (as many are). If you instead use old copies of the "temp" and "users" folders (from the previous system), then ViaVoice doesn't have to go through the initial "registration" process; ViaVoice doesn't need the SetUpAssistant; and all is (more or less) fine.
    Good luck!
BTW, to my knowledge, Dictate only runs on Intel Macs. It thus won't run on a G4 iBook, just as it won't run on my PowerBook G4.

  • Problem with childs nodes and automatic key mapping in a Data Object

    Hi experts!
I'm doing the service order tutorial from the mobile help at [this link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/21/9b5b924c3b434fba4767731794b029/frameset.htm] and I have a problem...
In the topic "Modeling the Equipment Data Object", says you have to mark the "Automatic Key Mapping" checkbox. So when I had to create a third child node ( the location node ) the system raised an exception with the message "Deselect automatic key mapping flag for more than two-level nodes". I'm trying deselecting the flag and creating the location node, but when I want mark again the automatic key mapping flag, this is disabled.
What can I do to solve this and create the three child nodes with the flag marked? It's a configuration thing?
Any help it's very welcome. Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Simon.

The thing is: Its not allowed to use automatic keymapping if you have more than two levels. This is why the message showed up, and this is why its been disabled.
What automatic keymapping does: Figures out automatically which child node belongs to which parent (by guessing from the field name and type, which fields in the child correspond to which key fields of the parent).
On three levels, this becomes more complicated => Its disabled.
How to do keymapping yourself instead of having the DOE do it automatically: Do 'Explicit keymapping' from each child to its parent. Explicit keymapping is done by clicking on the corresponding menu button in the child node. Here you need to associate child node fields (they need not be key fields of the child, but they are allowed to be that as well) to each of its parent nodes key fields (so that each child can be associated to its parent).
    Cheers

  • Question about key mapping for bank data in SP3 standard Vendor Repository

    Hello Colleagues:
    The situation is the following:
    1) MDM Standard vendor repository does not use Key Mapping for the qualified table data "Bank Details". This makes sense because normally you would pay a vendor in the same account and bank regardless of the company or R/3 system you are paying him from.
    2) However, here in my project customer don't have the same bank data for all of the 3 R/3 Systems. Furthermore, they would like to pay a vendor in a diferent bank and account number; depending on where the payment is generated (Company or R/3 system).
Because of this, I though about creating a lookup table for the banks which would use key mapping. I did this and I had no trouble importing bank data in to it.
    Now I have this tables:
    1) Banks: Lookup Flat:
Country and Bank Key as display fields.
    2) Bank Details: Qualified Flat:
2.a) Field "Bank" as a non-qualifier display lookup field which points to a record on "Banks" table (Described in number 1).
2.b) The rest of the fields (Account number, Account holder, Reference, etc.) as qualifier non-display fields.
This aproach works well in data manager.
However, when I try to import vendors from R/3, I'm not being able to map the bank details, not even with "compound field" functionality, because I cannot map the display fields in the "Banks" lookup table (Described in number 1); in the "Map Fields/Values" tab in the Destination fields pane, it won't show any fields from this table.
Also, I'm not very sure if I will be able to syndicate this data back to the R/3 systems correctly, this is; replicate only the banks which exist on each R/3 client system.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Please help.
    Best Regards,
    Jorge.

    ... Where

  • Key Mapping Problem....

    Hi,
I am using Reports 6i and I am saving the generated report at
the server by specifying the "DESTYPE=file" but by default it
saves the generated file in the bin directory.
I want to save this generated file to a specfic location and the
same time I want to generate the filename dynamically. So how
can I specifiy this dynamically generated DESNAME in the
CGIcmd.dat and at the same time save this to some location other
    than the bin.

  • UK PC Keyboard Key Mapping problem

I've tried two UK PC Keyboards on my new mini. Both work fine apart from a few keys which are mapped incorrectly.
The most annoying are that the @ (at sign) and " (double quotes) are the wrong way round.
Is there a setting I can change (or some software I can install) to re-map these keys? I've tried changing the keyboard type in system preferences but it has no effect.
Everything else on the device is superb!
    Thanks

Incredibly, i found the easiest solution to this problem (no, not the solution of buying a Mac keyboard!) lay on Microsoft's website...
I was using a Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboard with my mini. I went there out of interest to see if there were drivers for it that would allow the use of some of the media keys (and there were incidentally, but that is off-topic!).
I went to http://www.microsoft.com/mac and followed a link to hardware. I forget exactly what route i followed, but i besically tracked down the mac drivers for the natural multimedia keyboard. In addition to the drivers download there was a microsoft keyboard layout download as well. I suspect this layout would be available as a download whichever keyboard you picked.
After installing this layout i then had an extra option in the international settings box called "British - Microsoft". Bingo! Job done.
Now i still found it frustrating since everything you read and all the software you have still talks about keys that the MS keyboards simply don't have and you have to remember that the "command" key is the "windows" key, etc., etc. In the end i just gave in and bought one of the apple pro keyboards. It gave me two extra usb ports and is LOVELY to use.
Bit of a learning curve mind since the @'s and "'s are in the "wrong" places if you come from the MS world, but i figured i may as well go through the entire learning curve and take that on board as well

  • Mapping problem for date field

    Hi XI Friends..
In my file to idoc scenario..
i have field date value :2006-10-10T14:10:10
i have convert the above field into two fields idate :20061010

    please guide me..
    regards

    Hi Ram,
    Is this still a problem?
I think the hint will also work in this case:
    sourcefield --> replaceString(sourceField/constant[T]/constant[]) --> TransformDate(yyyy-mm-ddHH:MM:SS --> HH:MM:SS) --> targetFieldTime
    sourcefield --> replaceString(sourceField/constant[T]/constant[]) --> TransformDate(yyyy-mm-ddHH:MM:SS --> YYYYMMDD) --> targetFieldDATE

  • Mode switch key mapping problem

I searched a lot of wikis, forums but i didn't find out how to configure this.
I'm using the romanian keyboard layout, configured like this in xorg.conf:
    Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Keyboard0"
    Driver "kbd"
    Option "XkbLayout" "ro"
    EndSection
Alt_R / Alt Gr is by default mapped to switch modes. I managed to make the left Win Key change modes, by making a ~/.Xmodmap:
    keycode 115 = ISO_Level3_Shift
Now both Alt_R and the left WinKey switch modes. I want to remove the mode switch from the right Alt, because i need it for other applications.
I tried putting remove / clear keycode 113 in .Xmodmap but it didn't work.
Also, why is arch/linux(?) using "ISO_Level3_Shift" instead of Mode_switch?
this is my output from xev:
    for left winkey:
KeyRelease event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2000001,
    root 0x155, subw 0x0, time 14283222, (43,85), root:(466,375),
    state 0x90, keycode 115 (keysym 0xfe03, ISO_Level3_Shift), same_screen YES,
    XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 113
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XFilterEvent returns: False
    alt gr:
KeyPress event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2000001,
    root 0x155, subw 0x0, time 14283906, (43,85), root:(466,375),
    state 0x10, keycode 113 (keysym 0xfe03, ISO_Level3_Shift), same_screen YES,
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XFilterEvent returns: False

    Solved it.
I tried to add Option "XKbOption" "compose:lwin" in xorg.conf but it didn't work.
Finally, I switched to US keyboard and defined the language specific characters using xmodmap. Could have done this in the first place but i thought there was a way to remove the Mode_switch from Alt Gr. It would have been more elegant.

  • Target JSP report fails when called with a key defined in cgicmd.dat

    Hi,
When I am calling the parameter form report as (on my local pc):

It works fine. Here 'gsi' is the KEY that has the userid/passwd@connect_string that I have defined in the cmgcgi.dat file on my local pc.
Now the report pf_sumsptype.jsp makes a call in a similar manner to the target report with the same 'gsi' key as in the code :
    <form name="form1" method="post" action="/reports/summary_sptype.jsp?gsi">
The call to the target report 'summary_sptype.jsp' fails. It works if I replace 'gsi' in the above line with the userid and connect info.
Is there any other way to hide the database connect info?
    Thanks,

I'm not sure why this should fail, but you could try changing the method above from post to get.

    Hi all,
I have implemented forms 6 on the web using OAS 4.0.7 on WinNT SP 3 workstation. I have modified FMRWEB.RES file for activating F9 - LOV. We have a customized toolbar for our application. But when i run the form on the web, if the focus is on any list box, and if the user presses 'S', then 'Save' button gets pressed. I figured that if i deactivate 'ALT+S' key on the web, then it will work. How can i make the changes in FMRWEB.RES file ??

  • Mysterious Key mapping problem.  Help!

I discovered a very strange behavior regarding the output of my Apple Bluetooth keyboard. In all apps that I know of, the default keyboard shortcut for 'Save' is command (apple) 's' (we all know that, of course).
However the command being output when I press those 2 particular keys is command (apple) 'c' for 'Cut'. Everything else about the keyboard functions properly.
When I check to see what the output is in the 'keyboard and mouse' system preferences I am seeing the correct output when I press those 2 keys.
According to the preferences, this combination is set as the default (in fact I selected 'restore defaults' just to be sure). Also, the 'International' preferences is set correctly at 'English/Roman'.
Any ideas? This is a default function and the odd behavior doesn't make sense at all.
**By the way, this only happens when "I" am logged in; not when other users are logged in. So I know there must be some setting only related to my login (perhaps in the 'user/Library' folder). But I have no clue where to look. Any ideas?

Something in your ~/Users/ [username]/ Library/ Preferences folder would appear to be the culprit. From the filenames, I'd guess at com.apple.KeyboardViewerServer.plist but upon opening System Preferences> Keyboard and Mouse just now and changing one of the keyboard shortcuts, the timestamps point to ~/Users/ [username]/ Library/ Preferences/ com.apple.universalaccess.plist. Try moving your copy to the Desktop, then logging out and back in to see if that properly restores the defaults. You can try the same move to Desktop / logout trick on Bluetooth preferences in the your user account's Librbary/ Preferences folder.

  • Enterprise JavaBean Model context mapping problem with dates from CAF BO

    Hi Experts,
using CAF BO inside WD Java is a little bit problematic!
The CAF core Datatype "Date" is exposed as "javax.xml.datatype.XMLGregorianCalendar".
This datatype is not bindable to context attributes, cause wd is only supporting native java types.
in this case, a java.sql.date is needed.
What is the best practise to use JavaBean Models (CAF BOs) with attributes of type "Date"?
The normal Adaptive RFC Model imports ABAP Dates as java.sql.dates!
Using CAF external services, all ABAP Dates are exposed also as XMLGregorianCalendar.
How can i use/bind such models with less programming effort?
    Best wishes,
    Holger

    Hi Roelof,
CAF automatically decides which datatypes are used. It is not possible to change the used datatype
for imported external RFCs, so all ABAP Date Attributes will be typed as XMLGregorianCalendar.
This is different from the Web Dynpro Adaptive RFC Model, where ABAP Date Attributes are
    converted as java.sql.date.
    Best wishes,
    Holger

  • Key Mapping with Oracle Reports

I am currently trying to run report requests using the Oracle Report Server however the problem that I have is that we need to send database username/password information over the network. From a security perspective this is not acceptable.
One way we were going to get around this is to "wrap" the Oracle Report servlet with another servlet, so the client browser sends the wrapper servlet information such as report location and report name, and the
wrapper servlet adds in additional information such as the username and
password, eliminating the need for the client application to know this information.
The problem is that the URL returned to the client when the report is generated contains the username/password, which again is not
acceptable. As I have seen mention that Oracle Reports can be run over the Internet,
I assume that there is a mechanism for hiding this information. Do you know how to achieve this?.
I am keen to just hard code the user name, password, and database connection into a key mapping file to resolve this security issue. However we are having trouble getting this method to work with the Oracle Report Servlet. We are using WebLogic Server to serve these servlets.

    Hello,
Here is an extract from Reports documentation:
Oracle9iAS Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web
    Release 2 (9.0.2)
    Part Number A92102-01
3.3.2 Reloading the Key Map File
Use the RELOAD_KEYMAP parameter to specify whether the key map file
(cgicmd.dat) should be reloaded each time the servlet receives a request.
    For example:
    RELOAD_KEYMAP=yes
This is useful if you frequently make changes to the map file and want the
process of loading your changes to be automatic. Runtime performance will be
affected according to how long it takes to reload the file.
Typically, this parameter is set to no in a production environment and yes in
    a testing environment.
