Key-stroke combination to copy the text of a document position to another p

Hello ,
I would like to Know the way to copy the text of a document position to another document positions.
I know that you can entry the character + , but I think that there is another way , a Key-stroke combination , could somebody give me some information about this ?

Hello Olga,
Unfortunately I believe that it is no other way in the screen directly, only the one mentioned by you.
You can try use substitution (OB28) but then I am not sure if there is one logic that will work for all documents, like for example copy from line one to all other lines, maybe you can define an exit in the substituion.

I have two Document Objects created out of the same InputStream source.Both of them have the same DTD, namely SourceDoc and TargetDoc.
Now when I try to replace a node in TargetDoc with that in SourceDoc, it is giving me the below exception.

I then tried with TargetDoc.importNode(), even this function resulted in the same above error. How can I make the Parser get to know that , both the SourceDoc and the TargetDoc belong to the same XSD...

Hi Sabarisri, I have to downplay a bit the drama that might appear in the response above. After looking at my notes, I think if the schema document is properly made (in particular, not itself invalid---that's important), you can normally proceed with in-memory revalidation. That I have renew the checking using a demo, like this.
Let the xsd look like this.

How can i copy the text in cr11 screen dynamically.

In cr8 with VB, i can able to copy the text dynamically by using rigth click on cr8 screen and click copy. And able to paste the text in notepad.
In same way,Rightckick option is not available in cr11 screen with vb.net.For that i created "Contextmenustrip".Now i can able to rightclick and click the copy button.But the text was not able to paste.

My understanding is text in a SWF isn't really text any more, from the standpoint of it being mouse-selectable.
If it is very limited instances of needing to copy text, you can use a text entry box and enter the text you want them to copy as the 'default text,' but it is far from being an ideal solution.
There is a Text Area Widget included in Cp5.5 but it seems to be broken. When I try to type random text in it to test, the text gets garbled with caps/lowers, and some letters don't show up at all when entered. I typed "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" and it displayed as: The uiC bron fox umeD oVer the lazy Dog
There is a webpage widget that can embed a PDF or html page which you can to select the text, it might work for what you need but may take more back end work: http://captivatedev.com/2010/11/05/adobe-captivate-5-web-page-widget/
There maybe other included or availble widgets, I am by far not an expert with them.

Try turning off Ligatures in your style.

I was in a chat box with skype and I clicked on the link to copy the text but it came back with "can't copy becuse not permitted in your browser"

I can highlight copy and paste from other web screens with no problem.
The chat window however doesn't give access to the lines that have scrolled past the window so highlighting the text won't work. Other chat windows grab the entire text when the user clicks on the copy link or icon.
I just installed firefox and haven't tried other chat windows to see if the problem could be repeated.

AS3, ID3: Finding a table on a page to copy the text it contains

In my script, I need to go to a table on the current InDesign page and access the info inside of it by just copying the text of the entire table. I know there must be some supremely easy way to do this, but how? The cells within the table all use the same paragraph style, and the text frame the table sits in has a label. Do I search for the para style, then somehow refer to its parent or something?
The tricky bit for me seems to be telling my script to find the tabel on the page and selecting it, since once I can do that I assume I can just change the table to text to get to all that data.
I'm using Applescript in InDesign CS3. Thanks.

When you installed Pages v5, it automatically moved the older Pages ’09 v4.3 into /Applications/iWork '09 folder. If you want normal comment interoperability, you are advised to resume using the older version of Pages. Newer, is certainly not better with Pages v5.

Firefox is copying the text attached to an image, how do I make it stop?

Specifically on a pet website called subeta.net, but I have confirmed reports from friends that it is also doing so on sites such as gaiaonline and neopets.
Basically what's happening is that if you highlight the image for an item from one of these sights and then try to copy and paste, it will paste the text that is attached to the item. I never had this problem with any previous versions of Firefox, and have confirmed for myself that it is Firefox's doing because I have tried the exact same thing on Internet Explorer and where I tried to copy the image it just gave me a few blank spaces, same as the old Firefox used to do.
I have been in contact with the support staff on Subeta, and they have confirmed that users still using older versions of Firefox and other browsers are not having this issue.
So what I need to know is simply this - how can I (if possible) turn this off? I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but there are certain time-sensitive features of these sites that make the fact that this is happening very, very annoying.

I was fine with that... now Firefox doesn't do this... I want the exact opposite...
Anyone knows how to able or disable this stuff about dragging images?

This is determined based on the access sequence specified for the Text ID.
You can go to IMG/logistics execution/Basic shipping functions/Text control/Define access sequences for determining texts.
You may also use t-code VOTXN.
If you are trying to check text being copied to delivery header,then click the radio button for the delivery header and click display. go to the relevant text determination procedure and
Check the access sequence assigned to the Text id not being copied.
The Text object should be VBBK to copy texts from sales order header,VBBP for sales item texts.
You can compare it with your other text ids and their access sequences and make the necessary change to the one that is not being copied.

Adobe's PDF Reader has for selecting text only it's "normal" selection tool. It gets problems in case Unicode characters or non-embedded fonts are used in a document. The "TouchUp Text tool" for the advanced PDF editor is powerful, but it's included only in the Acrobat Professional version.
Another thing could help, did you already try to print the pdf file to CutePDF printer? From the new document you should be able to copy and paste the text.

Popup Key LOV - Can you make the text black?

If I use Display as "Popup Key LOV (Displays description, returns key Value)" , this LOV selection produces a text field that is read and has perfect functionality for my application .... if only the text were black instead of grey, which is harder to read.
I've played around but had no luck. Is there any way of specifying this text as black?
