Keyboard access to PS CS6 Menu Bar in  Full Screen Mode (Windows)

I'm looking to find a way to access Photoshop Menus in Full Screen Mode by  pressing the Alt+(any of the underlined Menu Keys).
The alternative I've been using is pressing the Tab key to show the Menu and Panels, or simply toggling Screen Modes (f  key or Shift+f) but that negates the purpose of Full Screen Mode.  I followed the instructions on this post to no avail:
http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2012/09/accessing-the-menu-bar-via-a-keyboard-shortcut-in-pho toshop-cs6.html#comments
I really enjoy everything else about my upgrade to CS6 except for this lacking feature found in most of the earlier versions.  I hope there's an answer to this one, as my keyboard hand is all ready over cluttered with Custom Keyboard Shortcuts that use the Ctrl Key.
Thanks!

Thanks, I rebooted and it came good, but if it happens again i'll try that

  • Safari unable to view menu bar in full screen mode

Been using Lion for a while now and everything seems fine, except for some reason when Safar is in full screen mode and I move the mouse up to the toolbar, the file menu and shortcuts bar doesn't appear now. It worked yesterday... now it won't. I quit safari completely, opened it back up and it still wont. Next will be a reboot...

  • Recover missing menu bar in full screen mode?

    Hi All!
I have recently installed Lion and am playing around with full-screen mode. As you perhaps are aware, the menu bar at the top of the screen disappears in full-screen mode, but can be popped back into view by raising the cursor to the top fo the screen.
I would like to have the menu bar at the top of my full-screen apps at all times, because I have it sprinkled with a variety of useful information (time, stock ticker, dropbox status, etc.
I haven't been able to find any trigger in System Preferences or in specific app preferences that will let me do this. I realize that I could simply maximize windows, etc. -- in other words, I know there are workarounds.
But I would like a genuine solution that would permit me to use full-screen mode while retaining an omnipresent menu bar.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

  • Blank space above address bar in full screen mode on Mac

    Hi.
Blank space appears above address bar in full screen mode when I bookmark specific web page for the first time after FF start. Only way to hide this space is View->Toolbars->Customize->Done. But it appears each time after FF restarts. Disabling all addons does not help. This problem disappears only in FF safe mode.
    Thanks,

  • How to show up "Photo Tour Bar" in full screen mode under Aperture 2?

    HELLO,
Mine is a MBA with Aperture 2.
I am unable to show up the photo tour bar in full screen mode>
What should I do to get the photo tour bar on the top of my full screen mode?
    Camera Canon 40D.

    Hi 153957,
    Thanks for the response.
I could see the film strip on the bottom ok in Browser plus viewer mode.
When I go to viewer screen the full screen mode and I could not see the Photo tool bar-sorry I spelt it "Tour" in my question.
Now I realised that the Photo Tool bar only appear when I move the cursor to the top of the screen.
However in full screen mode I am unable to bring my inspector! Is that possible?

  • Why won't the font formatting options appear in the format bar in full screen mode?

The font formatting options (bold, italic, and underline, and left, center, right, and justified) do NOT appear in the format bar in full screen mode.
I'm running version 2.2 of iBooks Author and 10.10 of the OS X.
    I've included screenshots bellow.

  • Creative Cloud menu and OSX Full screen mode

I recently uninstalled CS6 and installed the Creative Cloud version of all the Adobe CS apps on my computer the other day.  So far, I like it, and that part if things is working well.
However, there is this annoying behaviour that I would like to fix if I could...
On a Mac it's possible to put an application into full screen mode and then use a swipe gesture to move between fullscreen apps.  Whenever I do that, and then swipe back to the desktop, the Creative Cloud menu insists on dropping down on the main desktop screen... Every. Single. Time.
I then have to click the CC menu bar icon to get rid of it. Again, Every. Single. Time.
Because I use fullscreen gestures a lot, this continual dropdown of the CC menu is starting to get REALLY annoying.
Anyone come across this before? Do you know how to stop it doing it?

Jaredtorres the original issue disucssed in this discussion was addressed on 7/15/13.  You can find the current release notes listed at Creative Cloud app for desktop | Release Notes - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/release-note/cc-release-notes.html.  By default, after updating, the Creative Cloud Desktop application will also be in Window mode.

  • Unwanted title bar in full screen mode

(Netbook, Windows 7 Starter, Firefox 3.6.13)
When using full screen mode the Firefox title bar "usually" remains atop the page instead of retreating above as before. This occurs although the mouse position is not near the top of a web page. I've not discovered a pattern as to when the title bar remains and when it "retreats," as preferred.
Neither Restart nor cold Reboot made an apparent difference.
Example: title bar on this web page now shows single line on blue background with the Firefox icon followed by "Ask a Question | Firefox Support - Mozilla Firefox".
''fixed the formatting of this posting''

Are you really entering the FullScreen mode using the '''F11''' key?
Or, are you merely hiding all the Toolbars?

  • Irritating title bar in full screen mode

When using certain apps in fullscreen hovering the mouse over the top of the screen produces the menu bar, AND a title bar which is interfering with screen real estate.
    How do I remove it?
The screenshot below is with a youtube video playing in fullscreen, and the menu bar popped down.
The title bar saying "Safari" and with the green button is the one I want removed. This title bar seems to pop down in Java and Flash apps, and it's particularly irritating when the pop-down steals screen real-estate (photoshop, bitwig, Flas-player, etc.). Ideally I would like to stop the menu bar from popping down as well but it doesn't seem possible.
    Thanks.

    Umasuki,
As you may know this is a user to user forum and Apple may or may not see your opinion. If you are willing I encourage you to send them feedback here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html they won't respond but at least they will know your opinion.
    Hope that helps,

  • Do not show the Mac menu bar and the Dock in full-screen mode option not available

"Remote Desktop Connection" for mac has an option to
hide the menu bar in full screen mode.  I am unable to locate this option in the new
Microsoft Remote Desktop.  Without this option the remote desktop connection bar becomes completely inaccessible.  And since the old "remote desktop connection" program has poor support for windows 8.1 I cannot go back.
Is there a workaround?  Can you please add this important feature back in?

    H,
I am afraid that we have no solution or workaround for this. I will help to submit this as a customer wish to the product team.

  • Access browser in full screen mode?

how do you access browser to brows photos when in full screen mode? i can see the film strip at the bottom but how do you go in browser mode to see all photos on screen while full screen? full screen was kind of wird to use at first so i avoided using it for a few months, but now i kind of figured out where everything is, except of this.

I am not sure, if I understand your question: Are you asking, how to get access to all items in your library for browsing while in full screen mode, or are you asking how to browse many images at once, while in full screen mode.
To access all library items in Full Screen Mode, display the inspector and use the Library tab of the Inspector panel.
To have a full screen Browser, switch to full screen mode while in Browser view.
For example, using the Inspector in Full Screen mode: (klick the button to launch the Inspector HUD).
And after switching to full screen mode, while in the Browser:

  • Spry Menu Bar jumps off screen-right in CS6

Frustrating little glitch I'm experiencing.  When in a NON-LIVE mode in CS6, I have a Spry Menu Bar that I've placed, customized and is functioning properly.  It is precisely in the right location in BOTH live mode and in a browser preview, however, when I am editing the site the menu bar jumps off screen right to where I have to scroll right to locate it.  The only thing that pops it back in to place is by tweaking a setting like "Float" from right to left then back to right.  But once I begin to edit the site again it will jump off the screen.  This isn't a massive deal since it remains in place in live and preview modes, it's just annoying for layout purposes while I'm editing.  It sort of screws up the aesthetic of the layout.  Has anyone found the same problem?  Below is my layout.css and my Spry Menu css.

  • PS CS6, Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar, Zoom, Brush, Auto Pan

There seems to be a functionality that was lost (or I can't find it) in CS6 that was in earlier versions.  When I am In Full Screen Mode with Menu and the image I am editing is zoomed in, I used to be able to shift+click my brush to extend a line.  That line would automatically reposition the image when I got to the edge of the screen.  Does anyone know if that functionality is gone or do I need to turn "something on”?
    1. I open a file
    2. I ender Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar
    3. I enlarge the photo so that its boundaries are beyond the edge of the screen
    4. I enter mask mode (doesn't matter what mode)
    5. With my brush tool I start to paint a line by holding the "shift" key and "left-click"
    6. I get to the edge of the screen
    * this is where PS would reposition the image automatically and I could keep painting my line

Which operating system are you using?

  • Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar -blue

For some reason the 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar' option has a blue background now. The background used to be gray, and then one time i opened up Photoshop and now the background is blue. It is very annoying and affects my painting. The grey was neutral, now it is blue so my colors are going to appear off.
If you don't know what i mean: Open Photoshop, make a canvas (new image) Hit the key "F" on your keyboard 2 times so the canvas takes up the entire page but the menu bars are still up. The color around the canvas is Blue, when it has ALWAYS been gray.
Please someone tell me how to fix this.

I found out a solution. If anybody ever encounters this problem just right click on the background and select Gray. :)
