Keyboard accessibility, Captivate 8 - I cannot select multiple choice options with tab / enter.

It seems that most information I can find is that it's a standard feature, and if you have the accessibility checkbox selected then it should work. I'm viewing my quiz in HTML5 Chrome. Tabs do not enter the answers, am I missing something obvious?

I don't know if you resolved this yet... but I had the same problem. Eventually I realized that you have to TAB - SPACE BAR on the quiz slides. With the drop downs for filling in the blanks, it is TAB to, SPACE BAR, UP DOWN ARROW KEYS, ENTER. I am having to put instructions on the slide. Also, I'm having a nightmare with the tabbing on quiz slides, because for some reason it tabs on EVERYTHING on the slide, not just the interactive options. It even tabs the slide itself. I can't fix it... I've tried everything. I have it all perfect on everything but the quiz slides, then it loses focus. Also, for the fill in the blank quiz slides, it tabs to the selections all over the place. First it goes to question 1, then 6 then 3, then 2... and so on. As these don't show up in the tabable order feature, I can't fix that either.
Sorry I just probably made it worse for you... but if you know of a fix for these other tabbing issues with quiz slides, please let me know.

Cannot select multiple airplay options

I itunes I can see and send audio to any individual airplay option ( I have 3 including the imac) , however when I choose to send to multiple, I only get the option of one airplay device & my computer, the other airplay device does not appear in the list to tick for multiple airplay devices.
I can see and play to them all using airfoil though, so I am stumped.
Any ideas guys?

Cannot select multiple speakers ( airport express)

cannot select multiple speakers in itunes ( have two airport expresses) ... tries to connect and then always times out.

Only firewall I have is what is standard on my mac, and if that is what your talking about, I do not know how you do that UDP traffic thing.

SAPGUI JAVA 7.10 (OSX 10.5.1): cannot select multiple columns in ALV

in sapgui java 7.10 (on mac osx 10.5.1) I cannot select multiple columns in ALV reports.
I can do it only in some transactions (like SE16). But on all our custom reports (REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY) in does not work.
Any hint?

Hi Lorenzo,
did you double check if selecting multiple columns works with SAP GUI for Windows in the same report?
If yes, I suggest to file a bug report so we can do a remote logon to run your custom report.
If not it might be because of REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY itself or your parameters calling REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

TS3899 Just updated to 7.0.6. Cannot Select multiple emails to move/delete.

Just updated to 7.06. Cannot Select multiple emails to move/delete. I select Edit in any mailbox, trash or sent, then select one email to delete/move, after a few seconds, the email automatically 'unselects' the move and delete buttons deactivate, but the top status bar still has '1 selected'.
If i try to select multiple emails I get to the 3rd or 4th one and then they all auto unselect.
My Ipad without the update works fine. My daughters iphone 5 has the same issue and she just updated.

I have no problem selecting multiple emails on iOS 7.0.6
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

I cannot select multiple objects.

I cannot select multiple objects within the file I'm currently working on. This has worked in the past. Have I inadvertently changed a setting?

Are you trying to select via Shift+click? If yes, try selecting items in Layers Panel and from the fly-out menu, choose Select items and see if it works.

I had the same problem. Someone here told me to make sure my earbuds were in securely. Push until they click in place. It solved the problem. The music still plays even though the screen goes to sleep. Hope this helps.

Multiple Choice Quiz with all possible answers weighted

I am currently trying to create a multiple choice quiz with 29 questions nin captivate 5.5. Every question will have 4 answers similar to those on a standard survey (Strongly agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Diagree.) Dependent on the answer given I would like each answer to have a weighted value between 1-4 to give a final score which will be sectioned into 3 categories. I am able to weight a question but can't figure out how I can weight all answers per question. Any help would be grealy appreciated

You created custom question slides, I suppose? How familiar are you with advanced actions and variables? I published some articles and blog a lot about them. Here you'll find a list with articles, think that the first 1 of them could give you an idea how to proceed. Can you read them, and later I will try to help you if you are stuck. Will need some more details in that case about 'how I can weight all answers per question.' Moreover, do you want to report to a LMS or is the conclusion about the final score to provide feedback to the user?

Close Multiple Choice Option

Is there a way to close one or more multiple choice options listed on a form while leaving other options still open to choose from? Thank you!

Can you send me the URL to your HTML/web form at [email protected] and I will take a look, what web browser and operating system are you using? You are referring to an online form or is it PDF? In the web form it should certainly not take any time when you select "Other"
You can clear the "Other" choice in a FormsCentral web form by removing the text and unchecking the selection for Other, also simply unchecking it will make it so that information is not submitted (even though it still shows, it is greyed out and won't be submitted).

Add more than 8 quiz multiple choice options???

I have one slide that needs a quiz and has 10 or 11 multiple choice options/answers. I can't get more than 8. Does anyone know how to get more than 8 answers for multiple choice?

The version is CP8 - 8.0.1.242. After doing some research, it appears that the problem is when I open a CP5.5 and CP7 file in CP8. I remember I had this problem with CP7. I made a new file in CP8 and made a multiple choice slide, added 4 more answers, no problem. I am going to have to live with down level files. Just does not look professional. At some time, I will redo ALL of the quiz slides.

I can access a website and select the 'print' option but the print misses out photos that should be included in the print. It happens on more than one website. If I use Explorer it doesn't happen. I guess there must be a setting or something that I have not found? Any help very gratefully received. Than you.

I don't know if this will help, but I found it by accident. When I send Word projects to recipients, it doesn't always read properly depending on their format. If they have a PC It distortes my program, or they may have newer versions of Word. If you have your document showing select 'print' and on my print menu at the bottom left corner it has a button that says 'PDF'. Click on that and it gives you several options for a PDF. What I do if I'm emailing to someone is select the email option then you can always print from the email. Hope that helps.

With a wired keyboard and a 2014 iMac I cannot select multiple items which are not next to each other

I have recently changed from Windows 7 desktop to a new iMac running Mavericks. I have chosen a wired keyboard as I like the usual Delete key function.
I cannot find out how to select several items which are not next to each other (e.g. words in Pages). The well known method in Windows, which is repeated in the the Apple Finder Help screen, does not work. Would be grateful for advice

Cannot select multiple images in iPhoto '08?

What am I doing wrong? I want to select multiple images to either print several on a page, or publish to a gallery, but for the life of me I cannot find a view which shows me all photo thumbnails or all thumbnails in an album or all in an event. I can spin the mousewheel to singly go through them, or I can hit edit and go to full screen where I get a thumbnail bar and can select multiples and view them at the same time, but printing or publishing this selection only recognizes the first photo as selected. If I try to select View>Thumbnails, the subsequent menu options are grayed out, and the top one is "hide" even though I see no thumbnail bar. Is there something very obvious I'm missing, or has something gone awry and I should reinstall?

Grey box over multiple choice options in quiz (Captivate 5.5)

I created several quiz slides - all multiple choice. When the mouse is moved over the answer options a grey box highlights the radio button and text of the option. I'd rather not have this grey box displayed. Any ideas on how I turn off this "feature"?

Interesting. Can you upload screenshots of a question with the grey rollover and a question that does not have it, each with a mouse cursor over an answer item, so that we can see?
Is this a project that has been upgraded from an older version of Captivate or was it built from scratch in Captivate 5.5?
