Keyboard click and external speaker periodically do not function

My IPHONE keyboard click and external speaker occasionaly do not function. Aftyer a time they operate ok. Any thoughts?

When you adjust the speaker volume does it show the volume and say (headphones)? If so there could be lint in the headphone jack.

My keyboard clicks and ringer volume have disappeared. I have tried plugging in the head phones many times, blowing air in the headphone jack, credit card in the charger jack, everything on you tube basically! To no avail! Any suggestions?

If you do not hear sound from your iPhone speakers, try these steps next:
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker

If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.

You can install Temperature Monitor and have a look if the CPU oder GPU oder something else went to hot. The processor has a built in safety mechanism to shut down the computer before taking damage.

In iTunes these should theoretically be available on the iTunes Store home page.
On the right of that page under Quick Links find Purchased section (if available for your country) and then choose the TV Show category and choose to download there - it doesn't happen automatically.
If not in US you won't be able to redownload movies (yet anyway).
If a title is not available there are reasons for this but you'd expect it to be if you've only just bought it.
Actually I prefer buying in iTunes - I bought some TV episodes on AppleTV but cannot complete my season in iTunes - maybe i can't for that show (support were useless) but I do wonder if it's because the purchase was made on ATV.

Do you have the ring/silent switch on? See the top left side of your phone. Is the red dot showing?

Use the volume buttons on the side of the phone. Personally, I find it's better with those off completely.

There is a possibility that your digitizer has malfunctioned. I had a similar problem on my iphone 3gs whereas the lower left part of my screen didnt respond to touch at all. Take your phone to an Apple store and have them fix it for you. I fixed my iphone 3gs' digitizer by replacing it myself because my phone was out of warranty, and there arent any Apple stores nearby. But you should definitely take your phone to Apple store and let them fix it for you, because in order to replace digitizer on iphone 4, you really need to be skillful when it comes to phone repairs,and attemting any repairs yourself voids your warranty. A reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo reappears, release both buttons and await restart.
